We had a great business dinner here the other night. The staff took great care of us and the dining room is very inviting. The selection of stakes was decent. My Wagyu steak was very good made to the right temperature. My colleagues order fish which came out perfect and our shrimp appetizer was very good. The crème brûlée is lit up on fire so if you're looking for a social media photo, this one is a must. There's plenty of parking around. I will recommend to make reservations as the place was crowded even on Wednesday. My only recommendation for the restaurant is to have a better drink menu. The menu we were giving only had a handful of beers as an example and the waiters inform us that there are many more beers than what's on the menu. This was a perfect place to celebrate Mother's Day! A 3-course menu for $65 was also such a great deal. Although there was a bit of a wait, our service was great and the overall experience was positive. This is a gorgeous restaurant that is very elegant. Our server Tammy was LOVELY - so attentive (even being so busy), great recommendations and really just a delight to have as a server. We all chose a variety of things, but I had the mushroom and truffle ravioli as a starter that was very good. I could tell the pasta was made in house. My boyfriend had the spinach gnocchi that was fantastic!!! I was jealous I didn't order it lol. He got the prime rib, that he said was good. I have the prime filet that was good, but I wish the chimichurri on top had a little bit more flavor. We were bummed we couldn't order the espresso martini tower for my mother in law, but understood it would have been a huge stressor on the bar staff. We did order a few espresso martinis à la carte and they were fantastic! Definitely made with fresh espresso. Lastly, the crème brulee came out flaming and was absolutely the best I've ever had! We were really enjoying ourselves, but I wish I took more photos. We really enjoyed the experience and look forward to coming back for dinner one day! read more

This is a nice steakhouse with a full bar. Wine is also available! They do have seating within the bar and serve from bar menu as well as the main dining menu upon request. The servers and bar tenders are very professional and very attentive! I had an old fashion made to perfection and also a chocolate martini which was also very perfect!! I ordered the crab cakes this time and they were very good and had a special sauce which was very delicious!! This venue has a pleasant setting with bar and table lamps for a beautiful atmosphere. First time visitors with our weekly dining group. Half the group did not join us because of the high prices. Aria is a very nice restaurant in the center of Winter Haven but is definitely not for everyone. I had a wedge salad and the bone in ribeye for my main, sharing creamed spinach and mashed potatoes with my wife. She had the filet. All of the food was excellent! I really enjoyed the creamed spinach. The portions were large and we enjoyed the meal as leftovers the next night. The service was excellent and they used a team of folks that were constantly checking on us. The kitchen, as one would expect in such a restaurant, was slow but reasonable. You must be prepared to wait a bit for quality food. We went on a Thursday night and there were two very large groups so we knew that they have the kitchen's attention. The only critical comment would be that four of us had been served our first course a good ten minutes before the other two got there food. Would have been better if the courses were served together for the table. Was surprised to see a processing fee on the bill for the use of a credit card. I know that they have to pay a fee when we use a credit card but with their prices I really expected that this cost would have been in their base price. Our bill also included the gratuity. I did not ask if this was standard or because we were a group of six. Never much care for this to be included. We will return in the future but only for special occasions. Pretty pricey for retirees. read more

Amazing "true" steakhouse in Winter Haven. We were there for our anniversary. I had stated we were celebrating it when I made the reservation. The restaurant actually had a card signed by several folks awaiting us at the table when we arrived. A very nice touch! Great atmosphere and ambiance. Somewhat dark inside as most steakhouses are with fine china and glassware. Logan was our very pleasant server. Knew the menu completely and could explain the differences between the types of steaks, i.e. dry aging, prime and grass-fed. Described each type of sauce they could use on steaks. Truly knew his "stuff" as an excellent server should. He was assisted by Ford, who also was very pleasant. We both had the grass-fed steaks, along with a sauce. Wife had the blue cheese fondue sauce with her NY strip and I had the peppercorn sauce with my ribeye. Before the steaks, we split a wedge salad, which may have been the best we've had. It was "swirled" on top with a balsamic dressing, but was accompanied by a blue cheese and buttermilk purée dressing with chunks of blue cheese on the bottom. This was perhaps the best tasting, albeit "richest" salad we've ever had...a must have! Dessert was a flaming creme brûlée for her and a piece of key lime pie for me, portions "just enough" to satisfy us. They had an interesting and quite tasty cocktail list. The wine list is not extensive, but was otherwise outstanding in its offerings. A good selection of California and Italian wines, priced moderately. If you take your own bottle, there is a $25 corkage fee, which is a pretty average fee I see elsewhere. Next to the main restaurant is their beautiful bar, Vitrum Lounge, where one can also order either from the full menu or obtain small plates. They are working on an outdoor patio in the rear (where I hope they will also allow cigar smoking as that would be a great ending to a great meal). All in all, this was a very exceptional restaurant and worth going to for that special evening. It is somewhat expensive as most high-end establishments are, but truly worth the money. We certainly will be returning patrons. It is great to have this quality of restaurant in our local area which means we don't have to travel to Tampa or Orlando to obtain similar quality. read more

So so good! We had the specials that evening: boneless ribeye and the hogfish with crab topping. The fish was amazing! Appetizer were also very good: the burrata and the yellowtail crudo. The ambiance was upscale and classy, though the one TV felt a bit out of place. It was frozen for the first hour or so, and then switched to sports--didn't seem to match the vibe. Food & Bev: The martini flight was a delight! The orange chocolate was my favorite and the maple bourbon was my husband's. We tried the deviled egg flight, avocado toast, and the lox flatbread. The deviled eggs were creative and have the potential to be amazing, but the filling was so salty it became a turnoff. The avocado toast was good, but unfortunately it was also overly salty. On the bright side, the potatoes served with the toast were absolute perfection. The lox flatbread was unique and easily the best of the three dishes--still slightly salty, but much more enjoyable overall. We eat out often and are no strangers to well-seasoned dishes, but this level of salt was disappointing. I'm hoping the kitchen was just having an off day. Aria is probably the best steakhouse in Polk County. We have enjoyed a very nice family gathering there and plan to return.

We went for a birthday dinner and it was amazing! I didn't get any pictures of the appetizers but we did the pork belly and coconut shrimp! For dinner we did the special and then also the bone in rib eye. My favorite thing was the lobster soup! Service was amazing and helped us with all our questions. read more

From the moment we walked in until the very end the service was great. The hostess was very nice and all of the servers and other staff did a great job. Michael was our main server. Everything we tried was wonderful, we all got the filet and they were cooked perfectly. I really enjoyed the brussel sprouts. They were so good. I can't say it's a place I would go to all the time but it would be really nice for special occasions. There was a bar which was separated from the restaurant area and made the atmosphere comfortable and relaxed. I do want to try the bar next to compare experiences. read more

Not sure how I feel about out this place. Had high hopes. Service was good , but food was " mid" . Not much flavor to the jalapeño au gratin potatoes, and creamed spinach. Steak was cooked nicely, but was lacking...good but not great, especially for the price. Will probably pass on this restaurant from now on. read more

We had a family celebration dining at Aria on Wednesday night. Mom's 99th birthday. The food was outstanding. Vincent, our server, was exceptional. Great dining experience. They promote themselves as all UDSA Prime steaks, and some 30 day "dry aged" steaks. The prime filet should have cut through like butter; but it didn't. I question the "30 day dry ageing process" for the $85 rib eye. it was fatty and grizzly . I know rib eye should be marbled; but this was just tough. Tables were small with large menus leaving little room to have your cocktail. It was noisy. Service was good. Probably not worth it for the over all experience and price.. At least, we expected exceptional steaks, and none of the four at our table felt that way." read more

I had dinner with friends, and ordered the petite stake. I was totally shocked at the overpriced, dried up tiny piece of meat that was tasteless and void of seasoning. My other surprise was that it comes with one stalk of brocolli, no baked potato , no salad, unless you pay separately for these added sides, you are doomed. Needless to say, their tip is included, so you don't know how much they took from your credit card which is not stated. My wife and I visited Aria after learning about it from a local Winter Haven foodie social media page. Essentially stating that a higher end steakhouse was opening in the area and that it seemed to promise better quality and experience than many other local offerings. I will say that the price to portion ratio was very good but the service and friendliness of the staff left something to be desired. Upon entering a building with no signage whatsoever, we were informed that there were two different entrances. One for dinner for guests that had reservations and another for the first come first serve bar area. They asked us to exit the door we had come in and walk next door to the next entrance for the bar when a server walked up and stated that they had a large adjoining door and they would be happy to walk us through as it was raining outside. I asked the waitress that we were transferred to for a table as we planned to order quite a few options to get a scope of the menu and see what they had to offer however she said that we needed to sit at the bar. We ordered drinks to start with, a Manhattan and what I believe was The Elixir. We began ordering from the bar menu as that was the menu we were provided and told that we needed to order from as we did not have reservations. After ordering and receiving our food from the bar menu we were then approached with a dinner menu for the restaurant and I was befuddled with the confusion. We ordered the Snails Black & Blue, the Calamari, the Ahi Tuna Tostadas, the Mac & Cheese, the Truffle Fries, and the Tenderloin Bites. Our line of plates spanned three bar seats and we were looked at as if we were trashy individuals. The Escargot (Snails) were delicious, the sauce was creamy and packed with flavor. The Ahi Tuna Tostadas were well decorated with cubed chunks of tuna and thinly sliced avocado. The calamari was mediocre, the breading didn't adhere to the squid and continued falling off upon plate to mouth transportation however, the Squid Ink Aioli was divine. The Mac & Cheese was on par with general expectations. The Truffle Fries, phenomenal. I paired them with the squid ink aioli and it made for a delicious combination. The tenderloin bites were a little tough but had good seasoning. As this was only the third week of being open I look forward to revisiting for dinner (reservations can be called in apparently) and giving it another opportunity to be called a gem of Winter Haven. 3.5-4 stars as I believe with a little refinement this could be a great restaurant. read more

Everything falls into place on the second you walk in the door. The Ambiance is on the Swanky side. While I am not a big meat eater my friend said the steaks are very tasty. Polk County foodies we have found nirvana! Aria has it all. Nice environment where we sat with great food and could talk! Service clearly above what we are used to in Central Florida and finally the food. Great selection on menu and the food was wonderful! Steaks cut right and cooked to perfection. Sides that were just right! I was so comfortable here that I want a frequent fliers card! I'm coming back soon! Minutes from Haines City and nearby communities. Parking convenient. 10 minutes before we saw anyone at our table a full 25 minutes before we received our first drink. 1 hour from the time we ordered our entrees until we received our meals. Food was great but everything leading up to the $85 steak was slow and painful. I mentioned something to our waitress and entire staff recognized the long wait times. However no visit from management. This is the core of the issue. Terrible operational management. Certainly a shame and not what you expect when you spend $250 for a party of two. 2 1/2 hour meal with huge and long gaps between courses. Shameful and unacceptable with little to no concern with patrons experience. Restaurant was freezing and their bar next door was not keeping up and we shared bad service and slow drink service because of this loud and inefficient bar. A high end restaurant that operates at sub par levels. Step it up management team you've had 9 months + to get it right and this is the second time you fell way short. Food was okay although parts (asparagus) arrived cold. For a city like Winter Haven, FL the restaurant is way overpriced. Food presentation was mediocre. Food quality en par with any midlevel restaurant. But what was especially annoying was the charge of a "service fee" of $12.00 for credit card processing on a total bill of $333.00 for three people. Was not informed upfront about the processing fee and manager was rigid and unwilling to remove it. This ruined my stay. Visited one time but will never come back again. read more
