The guacamole with chicharonnes with guacamole was over the top amazing! It was the best appetizer ever! It's was more like lechon fell from heaven to adorn the guacamole!! My shrimp chimichanga was delicious. My husband also enjoyed his to e steak special.

Good is great, variety is amazing. Nothing pretentious. Just good food, welcoming and helpful service, and a very pleasant atmosphere for relaxing with some Mexican food and sharing laughs with family and friends.

Place is very nice setting inside and cozy , service is good , but it could be better , now food was not that good , ordered the t bone steak and I specifically said to waitress to just sear it , wanted very rare and was brought medium well , then mashed potatoes that came with it taste it like box mashed potatoes, not good , the tacos were good but the rice was ok but needs some improvement, salsa had no salt in it , but got good specials on drinks

When I evaluate the quality of any establishment, I start with something simple: the water. Unfortunately, the water served here tasted like it came straight from the faucet without any filtration. The chlorine smell and taste were strong enough to notice immediately. Because of that, I ordered bottled water while we were placing our food order. It didn't arrive until after we finished eating--the server forgot, even though I certainly didn't. My son ordered the molcajete shown in the photo, specifically chicken and beef. Instead, he was served pork. That's unacceptable, especially since we do not eat pork. My wife ordered the chicken and beef platter, and even she commented that the condiments were tasteless. At the very least, the dish needed more seasoning. To be fair, there were a few positives: the portions are generous, the place appears clean (including the bathrooms), and my ceviche was fresh and genuinely good. However, management needs to focus on training the kitchen staff and hiring enough servers to properly take care of customers. Based on this experience, I'm not looking forward to another visit.

First time yesterday for Valentines Day lunch. Walked in and was seated right away. Pleasant staff, placed drink and food orders shortly after seated. Great drinks and food and awesome service. We will be back

Food is not good here! Azteca D Oro by legoland is wayyyyyyyyy better food!! So wanted to try this place out to see if their competition Azteca D Oro is way better or not. Friday night the place was packed so Im assuming thats a good sign. Quickly was seated at the bar. No utensils were on the table. Had to flag to get attention for menu. So those were the 1st impressions. The prices were similar to Azteca prices. Dishes were served in a nicely manner on white plates. There is a young guy with a guacamole cart making fresh guacamole if ordered. The tip cup is a styrofoam cup which to me if you are a new establishment that is poorly executed as a tip cup. The lady next to me requested her drink to be replaced with top tier alcohol instead of what they were going to pour. She also requested blackened fish tacos. Later found out its tilapia fish they are serving. Ughhhh. They messed up her order by serving her shrimp tacos which is a big no no in a new restaurant because what if she ate it not realizing and she is allergic? My food came but the server didn't know who's order it was. For them to hold my plate asking around and diners are responding in front of my plate is disgusting. I was too hungry to address it at this point. It was nicely plated and it was smothered in red sauce which was ehhhhhhh for me. I am more if cream sauces tbh. Again too hungry to address the red sauce, I sampled the rice which was plain red mexican rice. No vegetables or hints of onions and bell peppers nothing just plain rice. The refried beans was nestled in a small tortilla cup that was fried topped with gooey cheese. It was not bad probably the best item on the plate. I had ordered shredded chicken 3 item combo which had enchilada burrito and tamale. Everything was ok except the Tamale. Tamale was dry and crumbly and the chicken overall in all the dishes was veryyyyyy dryyyyy shredded chicken!! The chicken had no flavor and was not moist at all. Very dry! I would not come back here. Azteca D Oro still my favorite mexican spot in Winter Haven and trust me they are busy for a reason! Way better food there!!

5 Stars - Amazing Food & Great Atmosphere! We had a fantastic lunch at the new Azul Tequila in Lake Wales! I ordered the quesabirria, and it was absolutely amazing--flavorful, tender, and perfectly cheesy. We also got mac and cheese and fries for my daughter, which she loved. The restaurant has a beautiful decor, a fun photo wall, and an inviting atmosphere. The service was excellent, even with how busy it was. Our food was made fresh to order, and you can really taste the difference. The flavors were spot on! We loved the complimentary chips and salsa, and the tableside fresh guacamole was a great touch. Plenty of parking available, which is a plus. It was packed for lunch on a Saturday, but that's expected since they just opened. Definitely a must-try spot in Lake Wales--I can't wait to come back!

If one had never driven past this establishment prior to it being open one would never had known that it had been a Danny's. They repurposed the building and my only complaint is the choice of an exterior color. The inside paint and decor are both esthetically pleasing. I wish that the landlord of this restaurant and the Wendy's next to it would be able to get an entrance and exit that that allows vehicles to get into the parking lot directly from highway 27 and that they got rid of the bulk of shrubbery. If you can't see it you can't go but that's not my fight to have. Inside the food was on point, being flavorful and plentiful, my wife's dish was supposed to have grilled radish but that was missing. The prices are budget friendly without having to skimp on quality.

Service was... okay. A bit on the "too relaxed" side, which almost came across as unfriendly. To be fair, I was already in a mood from something personal before I walked in, so maybe that energy carried over, but still worth noting. Food-wise, it was decent--nothing mind-blowing, but good enough that I'd definitely come back when in the area. The loco moco burger was basically an ordinary burger, though the gravy added an interesting twist. Not sure I'd reorder it. I really enjoyed the French toast--the grilled pineapple on top was disappointingly dry, but the syrup helped and overall I'd get that again. The millionaire bacon sounded much more exciting on the menu than it tasted--pretty basic in execution. What I do love is how creative their menu reads; it makes you want to try everything. That's why I feel like I need to come back and sample more dishes to really get the full experience. Cute spot, decent food, and definitely worth a return visit to explore more of their offerings.

The second we walked in, the smell hit me like, "Cancel your goals. You live here now." Smoky, delicious, slightly illegal levels of good. Patrick brings food. At some point I leaned over to Ross and whispered, "Where is the original guy?? Did Patrick eat him??" Nope. SAME MAN. Sir is host, server, possibly chef, and I'm 90% sure he rotated the earth slightly to speed up our service. Patrick sold me on the Prime Rib sandwich like a seasoned car salesman and I folded immediately. Ross got the loaded smokehouse sandwich because he likes to pretend he makes responsible decisions. The food came out fast and looking disrespectfully good. I blacked out somewhere between bite one and "I should stop." I did not stop. I have no regrets. My diet has filed a missing persons report. And let's circle back to Patrick--this man has the energy of three employees, a double espresso, and unresolved childhood dreams. I want whatever he's having. I would follow him into battle... or at least back for dessert. As The Terminator once said, "I'll be back." Mostly because I found out Patrick works Wednesday-Saturday... and apparently those are now my "nutritional delusion" days. Would 100% trust my GPS to ruin my plans again.
