What a cool place! From first glance you would think the store front is a pay phone and might miss it if you aren't looking for it, but go to the right and you'll find one a pretty cool bar! The service here was hands down some of the best I've received in a while. He explained the menu to us, gave us some background of the bar itself, was consistently attentive, and very friendly as well. I ordered an espresso martini, which was delicious. Visited this place due to raving reviews. The atmosphere is stunning with low lighting and elegant decor. We (group of 4) went during a live performance and honestly, not sure if we will be back. The singer/music (when there wasn't a performance) was so loud we would need to come face to face to yell and be heard amongst friends, staff and etc. if you wanted to communicate with the whole group, forget it. We did arrive at 8:30 when it was a packed house. We were seated for 25 minutes and about to leave before someone came by to get drinks/apps. Around 9 PM, it slowed down a little bit where service slightly improved. (The improvement was it didn't take 30 mins for a waitress to be seen again.) However, that lasted until we tried to check out and the waitress disappeared for 15 mins with our CC, and we had to track her down at the bar and get it from her to leave. The food was great. Loved the flavors of the bruschetta and the softness of the pretzels. Great options and creativity for food. The drinks were disappointing. Ours were too strong with horrid flavors. Mine (drink was "Per My Last Email) tasted like a strong cough syrup, and it didn't have ice which eventually could of melted and watered down the cocktail making it drinkable. I took a few sips and left almost all of it. 2 out of 4 of us had decent drinks (cocktails were not the way to go.) I love that this place is like a hidden social club... I had driven by the payphone before and not known what it was! We went in to check it out tonight with some friends, arriving at about 630 on a Friday night. It wasn't very busy yet, but people started to trickle in after that. These photos were taken a little early in the night and by the time we left there were definitely more people there. I will say Service is top-notch! Every server and bartender had a smile on their face and were super attentive. We all had a couple of drinks. Their specialty white chocolate martini was good... Standard for what you would expect. Of note, I had The Gummy Bear and I think I thought it was going to be sweeter. It was basically a vodka and soda with a Gummy Bear in it. My husband had Per My Last Email and thought it was overly sweet, but that won't deter us. Variety of house crafted cocktails, of course a full bar plus a variety of beer and wine so I'll probably just get creative and go off the menu next time. They have a small food selection, a little something for everyone. We got the mixed nuts for the table, then the meatballs, then a fig and prosciutto pizza. Everything was great. The meatballs were especially good... We did ask for extra toast and they obliged. Once the band started, the volume in the restaurant got notably louder, and the band even mentioned that they were gonna try to keep the volume down because the space is not that big. I wouldn't say it was obnoxiously loud or anything like that, but as with any small venue, once the band starts, having a conversation becomes more difficult unless you are in the opposite corner of the room. But the band was fun, the vibe of this place is really cool, so go check it out! Live music On Fridays and Saturdays. Also happy hour... Love having a fun club like this south of 435 in OP. Drinks are good - and the whiskey selection is pretty solid (always something I look for being a whiskey lover). Service is quick and friendly. Lots of seating options available for groups from small to large. The live music on the weekends is awesome, but makes it hard to have any conversations because of the amount of sound in a small space. If I could give it 4.5 stars, I would. read more

I found this place on the last try because we decide to go out and did not have plans... I can say that we did id not regret it at all. I love the place since we just come inside, the light, music, people, and all environment were very attractive. One of the things that I would complain about is the scarcity of staff who makes it more complete to walk every time to the bar to order a drink.! Another one is that some of the chairs in the little tables around the bar areas are very hard to be seating which makes customers request the day yi leave soon because they want to drink and have a comfortable chair to enjoy the amazing environment that here is offered. The bartender prepares very delicious drinks special my crispy icing Dirty Martiny. I recommended this place to people who after work, on special dates, and in empty nests want to enjoy our weekend.
