She also knows the area well, and made a few suggestions that improved our trip significantly. The bedroom suite has two gorgeously-appointed bedrooms, very comfortable beds, and an incredible view of the gorge. There are hummingbirds who visit in the evenings, and a few turkey vultures who perch on the rocks in the mornings. Our only complaint was that we couldn't stay more nights. If I ever find myself in Twin Falls again, the Roeland Home will be the first lodging I consider. Oh! And if you visit, don't forget to bring a fridge magnet from your home city. Jennifer's refrigerator is covered with magnets from all over the world, and is an impressive collection.

Two bedrooms and living area off of the main part of the house was very private and extremely comfortable. Not to mention the great view of the snake river from our private living room. Jen was a wonderful host and her breakfast was excellent, way more creative than you often get at other bed and breakfast. The outdoor patio is great. Again with an amazing view. We look forward to going back and taking advantage of all the activities in the area.

I was not only assigned to the second floor upon our arrival but also to a room that was designed for the hearing impaired. The room was equipped with a hearing-impaired button on the door that illuminated the room when it was pressed. Need I say more? They altered my reservation without informing me and inquired whether it was acceptable. No, it was not. The bed was so uncomfortable that two hours after we checked in, we were 5 hours away from home and had already driven 9 hours to Twin Falls. We looked at each other and said, "There is no way we are going to obtain a restful night's sleep." Consequently, we packed our bags and drove 5 hours to arrive home to a bed that was sleepable. The trip was a wasted 149.00. I was asked for my email address. I have NEVER received a confirmation number or anything else. We were reserved from the 21st to the 22nd. I made the reservation earlier that week.

I found out later why she was telling me the specific hours that I was allowed to buy the wine. I'm from Reno, NV where you can buy alcohol practically anywhere and at any time of day, or night. Unlike Idaho, where they have state liquor stores. Or other limited places with lots of restrictions. Potentially the frustration of trying to find your drink of choice, makes you drink less?! Very comfy bed in a really nice quiet room. Nice pool and hot tub. it was a little weird in the hall outside my room. For some reason the guests across the hall liked to leave their door open whenever they were in it. Luckily you could hear everything that was going on in the room, a family with kids. But still feeling the need to quickly dash into my room before being grabbed from behind from an open door. Great location easy access to everything including Shoshone falls Just 20minutes away.

Our room had a small kitchen with two burners, dishes, large fridge, and even dishwasher. There was also a note on the fridge that said to let them know if we needed to borrow a blender, rice cooker, mixing bowls, etc. How cool is that? Despite having our own great kitchen, we still enjoyed the included breakfast provided downstairs off the lobby. This had two waffle makers, eggs, sausage, egg sandwiches on English muffins, cereal, etc. There was a bowl with oranges and bananas, but they all looked like they were past their prime. They ran out of coffee and even though it was crowded, I didn't see anyone working in the area tending to things. Still, a very pleasant and comfortable stay.

But I guess that is why you couldn't get any complimentary breakfast either because they did not prepare enough for the entire teams, plus guests, so no breakfast. Upon checking in, I was asked if I would want maid service and I said most definitely. Three days have gone by, and we are emptying our trash and still no maid service. The dishwasher stunk so bad it was hard to stomach, that bad rotten smell. I paid a lot of money to stay here for (4) nights, and even extended my stay under these circumstances you would have thought they would have given you some sort of lead way on price, NO, wanted to charge me more than what I was paying per day when I originally made the reservation strange! So a couple hours later I definitely canceled because when I finally got maid service and we were going back to the room to grab a few things, we said to the maid you need to get in here, you speak Spanish, no maybe you should learn then you should have seen how she left the room, I have pictures. I then took the pictures down to the desk individual (super nice guy) said CANCEL MY RESERVATION showed him the pictures he apologized. Poor management for sure, and it needs vast improvement that is a given, very sad! Unbelievable you pay all this money, and they really don't give a damn! P.S. You should see the pictures!

This by far was the foulest nastiest hotel that I've ever stayed in (and girl has stayed in some…read moredive ass motels and hotels). Corporate needs to intervene because management doesn't give a shit and clearly the employees don't either. The room was so over scented with two glade plug ins to mask the mold and soiled carpet smell / issue that within 10 minutes of being in the room I had to leave for fresh air because I couldn't breath (and I don't have breathing issues). They don't even try to mask the fact that the room has had significant water damage and there is mold throughout the bathroom. If the room wasn't vile enough, on multiple occasions (I unfortunately was booked for a week and had no option but to stick it out) in order to leave or enter the hotel I had to excuse myself and walk through 2-3 employees bunch together directly in front of the door smoking. Zero care or professionalism as they continued to bullshit and bad mouth management. Front desk was always hiding in the back room. Didn't matter the time of day, no one was ever at the desk, always in the back bullshitting and eating (heard stories about baby daddies, new bedroom partners and their sleeping habits, asshole kids, etc). Not sure why I was completely floored when I witnessed the morning food service gal shut off the lights and tell the woman eating that "we are closed now, you have to go somewhere else" no more than 3 minutes after breakfast ended. I was kind of sad to see my elevator buddy to finally leave after 4 days (it was a mento and some toenail clippings that sat in the same spot day after day). Guess vacuuming the elevator daily isn't really a thing. So anywho, place is garbage and doesn't seem like anyone within the company gives much of a damn.
