Wow! I am truly amazed at how fantastic this property is. I travel a bit and usually stay at Marriott locations, so I understand that the Fairfield is typically on the more economical end. This one, however, is changing that stereotype. First off, everything is immaculately clean and well maintained. The lobby area has gorgeous furniture (my mom even looked it up because she fell in love with some chairs-but learned that they were far too rich for her budget!) The rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfast area was as clean as I keep my kitchen at home (which is saying something.) What really made this stay stick out was the service. I requested an early check in due to some scheduling things and we were able to get that-no problem. Then, my son's glasses broke and we ran into Steven, a maintenance employee, who cheerfully offered electrical tape and the use of his scissors for us to makeshift fix them. I don't find myself in Twin Falls often, but if I come through again, I'll be happy to stay here in the future. read more

I stayed two week nights. Heather checked me in after midnight. She was knowledgeable about the area and able to answer all my hotel related questions. And she was perky- after midnight! Gym small but very clean. No bike let alone recumbent bike. That was disappointing. No ball for a work either. At night it was fine but in the morning it was packed. By packed I mean 4 people on the 4 machines! Room was big and clean. Bed immaculate. Cool curtains. Tub a little old but water pressure great. And bathroom was big. Not sure I'd stay again if I could find a hotel with a recumbent bike. After all the sitting in meetings and on the airplane, I need to work my knee out. read more

This place is nice but we were a little bit disappointed, we reserved a junior suite and was hoping for something more. Room was good, beds good and the guy checking is in was amazing! But... our room was lackluster, 2 TVs yet the remotes can't be used without reaching both TVs so constantly interrupting, phone not working so we went down from the 3rd floor to get the Wifi password just to told that you have to sign up to get it free... so piss poor.. good community products in the bathroom but, just disappointed. read more

We had a good night's stay at this Fairfield Inn. Lots of parking spaces, the room was clean and spacious, the beds were comfy, and it was conveniently located. While a cold breakfast was included, it was below average due to the fact that they pre-packed bags with several items. So, we weren't able to just get a yogurt cup without the rest of the items in the bag like unripe apples and gross-tasting danishes... such a tremendous waste in the name of Covid-19 safety precautions. And, it was annoying that we were restricted to one bag per person. read more

There were aspects that I loved about this hotel and a few that I felt could be improved. The bedding smelled fresh and clean, which I loved, and the room itself was clean. Housekeeping did an outstanding job. Breakfast was wonderful and was a great perk to enjoy. The main reason I give this hotel three stars is because of the pool. We were looking forward to swimming and having fun as a family but as soon as I saw the pool, I couldn't even entertain the thought of getting into that germ infested cesspool. What a letdown that they do not follow state pool regulations. I only know this because my husband worked in pool operations and inspections and this pool was not up to code. read more

Stayed at this location for 2 nights. The room was very small. Not enough places to put your luggage. The room had a weird smell it it. We even considered going to Target to get an air freshener. Free breakfast was from 6-9am. Very limited in the selection compared to other hotels. Staff were very friendly. read more

We come to Twin Falls every two or three months, and this is the first time we've stayed at the Fairfield Inn -- but it won't be our last. I was impressed by how large, comfortable, and well-appointed the rooms are, and how lovely and modern the decor is throughout the hotel. The complementary breakfast is one of the best I've ever seen anywhere, with a large variety of offerings in a comfortable, spacious dining area. They even had soy milk! The location is great -- walking distance to Walmart and to some fast-food places, and within a five-minute drive of Costco, Target, and more fast food. The only negative I have to say is that there is a lack of attention to detail in the cleaning. Yes, the rooms are clean, but one example is the buildup of water spots in the shower stall and the accumulated soap scum in the dish. There was also a big, gnarly hair in my eggs... the cook wasn't even wearing a hair net! Small stuff, but it all makes a big cumulative difference. read more

I had just driven a 9-hour car ride from Denver, CO and needed a much-needed rest to get a bite to eat and lay my head until the next 9 hours to Portland, OR. I've always been a fan of The Marriott so out of all the options I had in Twin Falls, I chose Fairfield Inn & Suites. After arriving very delirious from such a long trip, I was greeted by two cheerful and helpful desk clerks who processed my room in an amazingly quick and professional manner. It was later into the evening so I didn't eat beforehand but they suggested a great place that was walking distance (getting back in the car sounded dreadful). It's been awhile since I've stayed in a hotel, but nothing has changed in the way that this establishment and The Marriott has proven it's #1 with the cleanliness and upkeep and wonderful staff they have. My room was so clean and comfortable and all the amenities were right at my fingertips. My best experience out of the whole 24-hours though was the breakfast managed by the AMAZING Kerri! We were very keen to try the Waffle Station that the lovely night host had mentioned was complimentary. If I could play that whole morning again, I would do so! The breakfast, offered COMPLIMENTARY by the way, was nothing short of a feast. Kerri was out in the open making sure everyone was satisfied and helped us figure out how to make those delicious waffles. Seriously, if they were a restaurant open to the public I'd go there for breakfast it was that good. Not to mention the vibe of the dining area was buzzing happily with satisfied overnighters like myself with the morning news on television and people happily munching on their meals. I would definitely suggest this hotel and the cost was not more than what you'd expect with most places but the quality and fantastic customer service - again, THANK YOU, KERRI! went far beyond what you expect nowadays. read more

We stayed here recently and were very satisfied with almost everything. The room was very clean, there was an ironing board and iron in the closet, microwave, mini fridge, wifi, etc. They do have "tags" hanging by the towel with suggestions to re-use your towels to help the environment or whatever which is fine with us as we do that at home; they will give you towels or whatever you need if you ask for them. You can choose to have your room cleaned or not, just need to hang a sign on the door. As we were there for only a few days, we chose not to have it cleaned (we are not slobs, we can pick up after ourselves), until we left. A couple downsides were the teeny bottles of shampoo, only 1 per room. I would need a couple just to wash my own hair once but I brought my own shampoo/conditioner so it wasn't really a problem for me but it might be for someone else. At check in, the price I was quoted was less than what I was being told at check in but fortunately, I had an email confirmation of the price so that was honored. The food was good at the complimentary meal for breakfast, waffles, eggs, cereal, biscuits & gravy, fresh fruit, toast, etc. etc. A staff member was a bit grumpy when I asked for a plate as there weren't any to be found. I would stay there again and it was in a good location to nearby amenities, some within walking distance. read more

We stayed here between Christmas and New Years for 3 nights as we toured the area looking for farm property. The hotel is clean, staff is friendly and the rooms were super comfortable. Centrally located but just far enough out of the way to not be stuck in traffic. You can walk to Walgreens and Costco, Walmart and tons of restaurants are within a 5 min drive. We would have walked to Elevation 486 had it not been for the snowy conditions! We will absolutely stay here again the next time we are in town! read more

Serious staffing issues at the locations in Twin Falls where Stephen is maintenance manager. In this town, choose a different brand - I'll be giving Choice my business here in the future. Firstly, I'm a lifetime gold member, I stay and live in Marriott's around the world, very rarely leaving a hotel disappointed. Secondly, I'm a disabled veteran, and part of the reason I stay with Marriott's is so that I won't be disturbed and can expect staff to comport themselves professionally and without emotion. This situation has been completely contrary to that, and expounded the flare in PTSD symptoms I was already experiencing this morning. This morning we had the head of maintenance and two of his sidekicks knock aggressively on our door and berate one of my guests in my room. Stephen took it upon himself to skip professional protocol and to insert himself into a situation outside of his capacity. The tone he took with my guest, another veteran, was absolutely unacceptable. When I informed the front desk of the matter, all I got was wide-eyed stammers and the bare minimum of validation of what I was communicating. This is FAR from the level of customer service I pay so much for with this hotel chain. Maybe Stephen was having a bad day and not thinking clearly, but he very clearly needs more training and to be removed from a position in which he's an example for young workers in a customer service and hospitality industry. Contrary to the response in some places, there was no fire alarm, nor one ever mentioned. There was no ascertaining that their guest was ok, if that was the concern. This is simply more of the wide-eyed excuse making from the front desk. And there certainly has been no apology to myself or my guests for our being interrupted unnecessarily. My friends and I stay here every year at this time and every year we are blown away by how friendly and accommodating they are. They really go above and beyond high customer service standards. This year a gentleman named Ben Weston (Director of Sales) stop in to check on us to see if there anything he could do to improve our experience. That gesture alone was all we could ask for. My husband and I just started traveling after over a year stuck inside, and we stay at Marriott because we have Titanium status AND Marriott has a corporate policy about wearing masks to avoid contaminating others as well as getting contaminated with COVID. I have heart disease and underlying conditions, so we are venturing out, but we are cautious. So, I am writing a travel piece and traveled from the Pacific NW with a stopover in Twin Falls, Idaho, at the Fairfield. When I walk in, the reception person has on NO mask and she tells me she doesn't have to wear one. (She was polite about this news, though.) Hmmm...Marriott policy says otherwise, as I tell her. (Her manager had told the entire staff they do not have to since they follow Idaho's laws NOT Marriott policy. Wait until Marriott corporate gets a letter!). Housekeeping doesn't wear masks. Guests do not have to wear masks in public areas. No masks at all for anyone working or staying there. Apparently, Idaho says no masks needed, so this Fairfield has decided to disregard guests and their health. (I stayed at another Marriott in Idaho just two weeks prior, and that one had a mask policy.) So, I am exhausted after a long drive and decide I was too tired to locate a Hilton. The whole experience was atrocious: The handle on the shower fell off in my hand. The glass shower doors were covered in grime. The floor was dirty. There was no Internet, and when the front desk connected me with the help desk, I was on hold for over a half-an-hour with NO help. Used my phone to do research on my travel article. Here is my suggestion: AVOID this Fairfield at all costs and find a Hilton or go to the Fairfield in Burley. Very disappointing experience from a Marriott property. read more

We chose this place as our stopping point while traveling to WA and we were very happy with the choice. 1. Staff: Staff, staff, staff! It makes a huge difference and this was evident as soon as we arrived. Elizabeth, at the front counter, took care of us promptly and found us a room even though we arrived a little early. This made a great difference because we drove all night and were exhausted. The ladies who manage the breakfast (I am so sorry I did not catch your names) were excellent. It is great to be treated with the warmth of a friend/neighbor. 2. Room: we stayed at a 2 Queen suite. The room was clean and very spacious for our family. The beds and sleeper were comfortable. The room had a microwave and mini fridge that were also clean and usable. If I had to include one area to improve would be closet/hanging space as there is not much of it. However, we did not miss it but I could see how it may be important if you are hanging suits/shirts/dresses/coats/etc. 3. Location: we found the location of the hotel to be conveniently located near Shoshone Falls Park, shops, restaurants, etc. 4. Amenities: breakfast was a combination of hot and cold items (eggs, biscuit, waffles, cereal, yogurt, etc) and it was perfect to get the day started. The pool/gym are small but clean. I did not spend time in either but checked them out. In summary, friendly and helpful staff, clean and spacious rooms. A definite repeat in my book. read more

Great place to stay while visiting the falls on our road trip. Very nicely located off a Main Street with abundant places to eat and shop. Walking distance to the canyon overlooking snake river and to a great restaurant (Elevation 486). The lobby has a store with snacks and drinks, as well as toiletries you may need in a moments notice. The complimentary breakfast is fairly well stocked but you have to be up early before it gets whittled down to beagles and coffee. They also have a great eating and lounging area in the lobby that we didn't get a chance to enjoy much because of our schedule. But nonetheless, it looked very modern and comfortable. We did get to use the indoor pool and the whirlpool. The pool was small but still a nice option and the whirlpool was fairly large and felt great after a day full of hiking and climbing. It was nice to let the hot water soothe my aching legs. Our room was also very modern and clean. Great mattress and I loved the inclusion of the microwave and fridge. I will say though, they did not provide many toiletries in the room (shampoo and conditioner). Only one of us got to wash their hair from that tiny bottle they put in the bathroom. I am very pleased with what I got for my money. If I'm ever back in Southern Idaho, I'll look to stay here again. read more

We were pre-booked for a soccer tournament. I'll admit, I wasn't thrilled with the price, but we were pretty locked in. Other than that-- we loved our stay. The pool is a bit small, but that made it easier to keep an eye on the kids. Breakfast was your standard (yet well-done) Marriott set up. Eggs, meat, fruit, juice, waffles, breads, oatmeal, etc. Beds are clean and comfortable. Rooms are quiet despite the hundreds if soccer kids running around. Clean, inexpensive and newer place to stay if you are passing through town. There is plenty of parking and the area is safe. This is exactly what we were looking for during our stay in Twin Falls. The front desk workers were very nice and we got our room quickly. It was spacious, clean and they have free wifi. We filled our water up in the fitness room (it's small but has a few things) but they also have a few snacks for purchase near the front desk. They also have an indoor pool that we saw near the fitness room. In the morning they offer free breakfast - it's not great but it's good enough for a coffee and a bagel. I would recommend if you are in the area and need a place to stay. read more

DO NOT stay here. With every hotel room we stay in I always do a quick assessment on whether rooms are cleaned. I pulled back the bed sheets on both beds and found crumbs on one. It wasn't just one crumb, it was crumbs sprinkled all over the bed, orange crumbs. We called front desk and she came up to inspect herself (she entered our room with her mask off, it was under her chin). She was pretty disgusted herself and gave us a new room. Entered our new room and pulled back the bed sheets again, this time I found bed bugs. They was on one of the pillows and a few on the bed sheets. I smashed two to see if maybe I was mistaken and it was something else but upon smashing both I saw blood stains where I smashed them. Yes, they were definitely bed bugs. I took pictures and went downstairs and showed front desk and she didn't hesitate to give us a new room. Both rooms were located on the 2nd floor. Our third room was on a new floor and free from bed bugs or crumbs but it still didn't stop me from wiping around the room with Clorox wipes. It was hard to sleep that night and with a baby and a child, I just wanted to make sure they were sleeping in a room that was clean. We left so early that morning, we just wanted to get out ASAP. read more

The second time my husband came back to do a job down there and brought our employees with us... there was an issue with the tv it kept resetting ... th first people he talked to wouldn't help, so I called and talked to Biana... she was very helpful and apologized for them not being helped sooner and she fixed the issue.. definitely would stay here again while in town ! read more

We are staying here for two nights in a double queen on the second floor next to the elevator. This hotel is new, clean and modern. The staff are friendly and attentive. The free breakfast is expansive. Items offered included pork sausage, scrambled eggs, make your own waffles (with syrup, butter), donuts, bagels, toast, oatmeal (with cinnamon, walnuts, raisins offered), cold cereal, yogurt, cut melon, apples, bananas, peanut butter, cream cheese, jellies, coffee, tea, several juices, milk. I honestly think there's something for everyone. The rooms are ample. We have a refrigerator & microwave, hair dryer & Paul Mitchell toiletries, coffee maker, the beds are comfortable, and the rooms are quiet. I would stay here again! Check it out! read more

My family and I decided to spend some of our spring break in Twin Falls because we wanted to see the falls. Some friends and us rented two suites and planned a 3-day adventure. Twin Falls surprised us on all the things it had to offer but I would pass on the Fairfield Inn. I am pretty sure the young lady behind the counter totally dislikes people and is shows in her attitude. The pool was absolutely awful the chlorine burns your eyes even when you are just sitting by the pool. They tried to charge us for items we did not purchase in their store. Beautiful hotel and great staff. I had my nieces come to visit and they were being picked up by their dad who had visitation that weekend. They both had major meltdowns and didn't want to go and made a huge scene for a very long time. The staff was super nice and non judgmental even though it was something that could have potentially caused problems with other customers. On the way out I accidentally spilt my nieces m&ms which caused her to erupt into another fit and so I ran back in and grabbed some off the concession stand. When I went back in to pay for them after they left, the lady at the front desk said they were taken care of. Such a small gesture that meant so much in a stressful time! The beds are super comfortable! Rooms are clean and they have a nice tv and fridge in each room. Definitely recommend! read more
