Based on what you get for the money spent, this is a terrible value. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful,, and the bed was comfortable. Other than that, everything else was marginal at best. Hotel is pretty remote and located next to a very busy truckstop. So you can expect extensive noise throughout the night. Price is affordable and the rooms are nice. My initial experience wasn't terrible but a little inconvenient. The front desk clerk gave me a great impression of handling the inconvenience with the system in a professional manner. Although the system had crashed, he still gave me a room to settle in. The next morning, I attempted to take advantage of the free breakfast to save a little money. They served milk with cereal, oatmeal with hot water, hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, 3 different bread options (white, wheat, eng muffin) for toasting, and fresh made waffles, but no butter whatsoever. Hot syrup and jelly are the only options to not have very dry toast or waffles. Butter is an essential part of breakfast, especially when serving these items. I will not enjoy taking advantage of the free incomplete breakfast throughout the remainder of my stay. Waffle was good but could be better with butter & syrup. Bring your own butter (byob) is my only recommendation . read more

Glad to find this place! We were trying to drive overnight from Bozeman, MT to the San Francisco Bay Area, but we were too tired. Grabbed a "nap" here around 2am until 6am. It was easy. The front desk is staffed overnight and gave us a room right away. We easily found parking and got our stuff in. Luggage carts were available. I was concerned that room with double beds and pet friendly would not work for us, but the room was clean and had no dog smell, and the beds were comfortable enough (and us tired enough) that we had no trouble sleeping. It was great to have a rest and hot shower before continuing on our way. We even made use of the breakfast, which had sufficient variety and was more than a continental breakfast, complete with do it yourself waffles. The little fridge area kept the eggs and yogurt cold, as well as the butter. Conveniently, this place is right off the highway and has an adjacent large gas station. read more

Stayed one night during a road trip. I booked the room based on reviews and the room photos on Booking. Com. When we arrived, the outside left a bad impression. Weeds in the sidewalk, dingy parking lot. The front desk clerk was nice and helpful. The room was clean. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was maybe the smallest hotel bathroom I have used. Barely room for the toilet and shower but it was clean. The tv has Directv with most premium channels. The free breakfast was not impressive. Choice of waffles, toast, two kinds of cereal, free packets of oatmeal, apples, and yogurt. I made a waffle and tried to put syrup on it from the syrup dispenser but nothing came out. Had to take the lid off of the dispenser and saw that it was full. I had to use a spoon to put syrup on my waffle. The coffee was very watered down. For the price, I would stay here again. The rooms were clean and beds were very comfortable. Side note, we stayed on the 2nd floor of the 3rd story hotel. The person staying above did a lot of pacing in the evening and morning and we heard every step so maybe bring ear plugs due to the lack of insulated flooring/ceiling. read more

Got in super late after a long scary trip which was delayed due to weather. Greeted by a supremely unprofessional desk agent who refused to check us in and told us we would have to pay for an extra day just to get 5 hours of sleep. Ended up sleeping in our cars in the parking lot in below freezing weather. Tried to get a refund and was gaslighted by a smooth brained manager who claims we gave wrong information at check in and told us to basically sod off. Had stayed there before this trip, never will again. If you're running late avoid this place at all costs, these sadists enjoy you freezing in the parking lot. read more

For the price, value is what's expected. Nothing exciting regarding the rooms, but it has what you need for one night on the road. There is a fitness center and multiple options for breakfast in the morning. The rooms don't block a lot of noise from the road outside, so that's something to keep in mind. read more

This is a no frills hotel just outside Twin Falls. The rooms have all been recently refurbished. The IKEA-esque furniture really isn't an issue. The lobby and hallways are all sparkling clean. Plenty of outlets right next to the bed for phone charging. The room and bathroom are a tad small, but if you are just staying for a night, what do you need a big room for? At $140 for a queen room it's a bit more than I would have expected, but overall, it gets the job done. Also, the TV in the room is huge. Glad to see they didn't skimp on the electronics. read more

Okay, so I will give three stars because it was clean and didn't have an odd smell as some hotels will, but that is where the good stops for this place. We only stayed here because there were literally no other rooms available in Twin Falls, I tried booking other places on three different sites and they would book before I could finish my booking. Not sure what was happening in Twin Falls this particular weekend but it must have been good. The room had no pictures on the wall, the "closet" was some hangers on a collapsible "rod" in the corner, by the ironing board (also hung on the wall). There were two double beds (my husband and I slept in separate beds for the first time in our entire relationship of 23 years). And they were hard as rocks. The vanity mirror is a Costco side lit job and that is the only mirror and only light in the tiny vanity area, there's not room for two people to do anything in that space. The water closet area has a pocket door! A pocket door! Inside that room is what I can only guess is a RV shower insert -- wondering at this point if Red Lion contractors went to Oregon and went to some of the luxury coach manufactures and bought up their surplus inventory of inserts when they went out of business. We rolled in pretty late so I didn't see the lobby until the morning... the walls were literally lined with housekeeping carts, and what should have been the breakfast area was blocked off by chairs and had more housekeeping items in it. Gotta say, pretty over priced and under whelming to say the least. read more

5 star for the ladies at the front desk May 14-17. Very cheery, helpful and positive over the phone and in person. Very clean! And agree with others about the quality of toiletries (made out of CBD products) Only draw back is the location, it's near a truck stop and gas station. Not a good site, esp. for a lone female traveller, it's kinda scary if it were not for my fearless pup. But, truly I felt safe. I got the renovated flooring. It doesn't make sense to have carpeting in hotels when you have a pet (pup has been very good in using outside only-but for those who don't) or when you're in heavily trafficked rooms by multiple different people. It is close to Perrine Bridge (@ a mile) and Shoshone Falls ((@ 3-4 mi), shopping, restaurants and highways are not easily missed. read more

Stayed at the Sleep Inn and Suites in Jerome and I found very little to like about this hotel. Pro: They had a room on short notice. Parking was adequate for truck and trailer. Room was reasonably clean. Cons: $300/night for a hotel that is 1 step above motel 6. "Free" breakfast was worthless. Nothing to drink. No coffee, tea, juice or even water. They said that they couldn't get those items. I can get them, but they can't? For $300/night they should try a little harder. Hood not the best. 2 series of gunshots heard around midnight got me thinking this. Ok, to be fair, it was a Friday night and they sounded like they were about 1/4 mile away. And not a chaotic gunfight series of blasts but 6 shots in succession followed by 8 more a few seconds later. Most likely some local youngsters having a little fun. Hallways/elevator not very clean. Floors dirty and elevator hadn't been cleaned for a while, handprints/smudges all over. Door in room did not latch properly. Just a minor security concern. If I were traveling in or thru the Twin Falls area and needed a room, I would avoid this hotel, or better, avoid Twin Falls if I could. read more

I would rather sleep in my car. The beds in this hotel are garage. After driving over 600 miles from Washington my back hurt more in the morning than when I went to sleep. To top things off there is no wi-fi signal unless you are in the lobby. Save your money and sleep in your car and shower at the truck stop next door. read more

They made everything so easy, the price was great and everything was very clean. I am always a little stressed out by the cleanliness of hotels but this one passed with flying colors. Unlike any Red Lion I've ever stayed in. Mostly because at some point it was either a Days Inn or a Sleep Inn. The entire place (except the tiny breakfast area) is beat up and worn. Almost as tired as the Twin Falls Shilo Inn except with newer linens. Carpets, walls were pretty torn up and worn. They have hung signs that say something about please excuse our mess but I could swear the building has had the Red Lion Inn and Suites logo on it for well over a year or even two. (we usually stay on Pole Line Road. I only chose the Red Lion because I was going to be tired from my 12 hour drive and knew I wouldn't feel like driving across the bridge to our usual hotel. I will highlight the good things here: Very nice soaps and shampoos! Crisp linens Desk chair was not an office chair for once, seemed pretty new and was comfy 24 hour coffee Great hot water shower 65" Samsung TV with DirecTv Front desk staff at check-in great Toilet flushed and I didn't have to make any tank adjustments (you wouldn't believe how many semi-working toilets I have run into even in $$$$$ hotels) I would suggest calling ahead before making a reservation here and ask if the renovations were 100% completed. Otherwise unless you can't afford to be else where, don't stay at this Red Lion. read more

Place os suuper close to twin falls. Free breakfast. 50" tv - beat that, I heard they are renovating the place to a modern hotel which is another plus. Do not be fooled by the name or the price. This is a good $60.00 a night hotel. Red Lion needs to take it's name off of this one! It took 15 minutes to check in. I had a reservation. Outdoor landscaping needed done. Sign for restaurant was is major disrepair. Entry door misaligned and hard to open. I was given a handicapped room without asking for it. I would have preferred one with a tub. Floor was still wet when we got there. I wiped it dry with a wash cloth and it was filthy and didn't smell of cleaner. I suspect that they mop with just water. Indoor carpet was stained in every hallway and breakfast area. The room door didn't spring shut. That's a law to protect you from fire in some states. Maybe not Idaho. This may have been a good hotel when their popcorn ceilings were fashionable. It's not now. read more

Do not stay here no matter what you do. I suggest either staying in the street or staying in your car do not stay at red lion at Jerome. The beds are horrible it feels like sleeping an old slinky. The staff is far from helpful. When I complained about the room, the called the manager who never answered or called back. The TV is an old fashioned CRT with limited channels and a really grainy picture. If you cough in bed, you will wake your partner due to the entire bed wiggling. The hotel rooms are in need of a very serious update. The vanity / bathroom area is incredibly small. There are no other mirrors to get ready and when you have multiple people staying, it makes it quite difficult to accommodate everyone. The continental breakfast was good and the staff was polite. Also, Hotels.com offered the room for $112, but when we got to the hotel we asked their rate and were told it would be $80. Truthfully, these rooms more closely resemble the Motel 6. read more

Spartan decor in the room at best. No pictures or warmth to the room. Nothing seemed to match. The 'closet' is some poles and shelves. Some peeling paint work. The heater sounds like a jet engine. No instructions for check out or amenities. Little things are missing like no one at the desk when we arrived, the clock set wrong, only one washcloth, only two small pillows, only two plastic cups but no ice bucket (or coffee maker)...if there is an ice machine...no information on that in the room. The TV needed two remotes and I had no instructions for using them. I just did not get the feeling that this hotel cared. Although it seemed relatively clean, it was unwelcoming. read more
