But it's an absolute miracle I found this awesome women-owned business. I went in originally for facial. They solved my problematic skin that had freaked out when I moved to a new climate. Spots everywhere. Then they talked to me about laser. I had wasted hundreds/thousands of dollars at other places with little to no results so just assumed it didn't work for me. I also have a hormone disorder that makes my hair thick and stubborn. I learned about how many places don't have this type of laser and therefore do not give the same results. The process was quick, but when she was done working on my lashes, I saw only the slightest of changes. She had assured me that they would be curlier the next day, so I went on my way. The next day, after all the proper aftercare (no steam, water, makeup, rubbing, etc. for 24 hours) my lashes seemed even flatter than before. When I looked closer into the mirror, the lashes on my right eye were intensely curled not at the base, but past the halfway mark of each lash, closer to the ends. This resulted in some seriously crimped lashes. Other lashes closer to the inside of my eye were going in the completely wrong direction, and no amount of brushing with a clean spoolie could help. My left lashes were not completely lifted. My natural lashes are thin and straight, so looking head-on at my eyes you really wouldn't be able to tell that they're there. The procedure really didn't help that. Some lashes in the center had the slightest lift and others had literally none at all, so my left eye was a mix of 0 and 1 degree elevated lashes. It looks horrendous. I called the day after the procedure to ask about any remedies, and the lady on the phone was super pleasant and told me she'd make a note to have her boss call me back. Over two weeks later, and no follow-up. It's a nice facility, but I'm really disappointed with my results. I spent $100 (including the tip) for something my eyelash curler could have done better. I will definitely not be coming back.

I did not know that VARICOSE veins were the cause of the consistent pain, heaviness and swelling in my legs. Dr. Powell is calm, gentle and has great bedside manners. His team is great. I have been under their care for over three years. I am so thankful I found them. My family doctor's P. A. suggested that massages might help my pain. (I went to two different therapists. The first left me bruised and in worse pain. A week later, when the pain subsided, I went to a second one. She took one look at the back of my legs and suggested I see a vein specialist. She did not even finish my session, she did not want to cause further pain or injury. I paid and left. It was 4:00 pm. and looked online where I found that I could be seen the next morning by a vein specialist in a nearby town. That experience left me frustrated.
