Amazing food! Delicious drinks. The smoked meatloaf sandwich was unreal. Tee Time is a new favorite drink. 5 stars.

Ambiance was cool - it was low light, lots of wood and interesting architecture. Definitely felt "old school" in a good way. Not what we were expecting from the outside which is not particularly unique as far as the build out. We waited at the host stand for a bit but it was clear every worker was in the middle of a task (we saw a very large party and it seemed like food for every table was Just coming out). One thing I really admired was that every employee that walked by (running to a table with a tray of food, turning a ticket in, etc.) made eye contact with us and acknowledged our presence and apologetically said, "We will be right with you!" We didn't wait long at all and we didn't care even if we did, but I just thought that was so kind compared to some joints where employees who are busy just pretend you are not there. We were met with kindness at the door and that meant more to me than the great service and great food. The rolls are SO good and they come out warm. I had the Murphy which was very flavorful and on the spicy side, while my fiance had chicken Alfredo. We both left full and happy! We will definitely return!

For my entree, I chose the Chitarra Alla Gricia, and the server recommended pairing it with the Syrah. Again, excellent. I also enjoyed sharing a bowl of the Vodka Radiatori. I left full, happy, and with Tiramisu to go. If you find yourself with an opportunity to go to Zero Zero, don't hesitate to book that reservation. The food, the service, the patio; all great.

I took a pasta making class here a few years back and enjoyed it, but my wife really wanted to go back and dine there. She took advantage of the option to make a same day reservation for their patio. We ordered the following: focaccia, spicy vodka radiatori, chitarra alla gricia, and tiramisu. In descending order of what I enjoyed most - the tiramisu was my favorite part of the meal. It ended our lunch on a high note. This is my favorite style of tiramisu, and almost no one in KC does it like this. The spicy vodka radiatori tasted great and was well balanced with creamy cheese and spice. While it was enjoyable, I was realizing that an outdoor pasta lunch in the middle of summer isn't ideal. The whipped ricotta and honey spread served with the focaccia was the perfect spreadable pairing to the fresh, warm bread. Chitarra alla gricia is probably the closest to a Roman carbonara that I've had in KC. The pasta was thick and flavorful, and went well with the sauce. It was a weekday lunch so I paired the meal with a nonalcoholic Italian pilsner (since I'm big on beer; @halfwaywestbeer on IG). I will say I didn't feel entirely safe sitting on their patio. The planters between my seat and the road of speedy cars didn't reassure me of my safety. I enjoyed everything, but I don't plan to return to dine there. I would return for a pasta making class or to pickup some tiramisu to go. Don't stress if you're having a hard time getting a reservation. There's plenty of good pasta restaurants in KC of equal quality.

Their shrimp Alfredo is the best I've ever had. The sauce is delicious and the shrimp was cooked perfectly I genuinely don't think anything could have been better about it. Their rolls are hot and fresh and the dipping oil it comes with is delish. We got our food quickly even though it was busy and the staff is all so friendly! Chicken Piccata was light and fresh, although the chicken seemed almost poach rather than pan fried seared as described. The side Cesar was very good and the garlic knots were fresh and delicious. Two friends had eggplant parm that looked amazing and was a very large portion. Another had chicken fettuccine which looked equally good. The dining room was filling up as we left and the hard finishes in the dining room make it noisy which wasn't a problem for us, but wouldn't be a good choice for a quiet romantic dinner unless you dined very early or late. Small things when compared to the overall experience.

Being used to Kansas City staples like Garozzo's and Cascone's, we were excited to give it a try, but unfortunately, it didn't quite live up to the high rating hype. The Atmosphere & Service: The space was clean and the waitstaff was incredibly warm, nice, and welcoming throughout our meal. Drinks & Extras: They have a great wine selection! However, keep in mind they don't have a full physical bar, so non-wine options such as beer and spirits come from a can. Bread is also a separate purchase and doesn't include an olive oil dipping sauce nor did they bring out or have any fresh ground pepper or parmesan cheese which is a bit of a sin with our meals. Note: I did get a pepper shaker, but it poured heavy like a cheap bottle of wine... Lucky for me. I'm a pepper fan. My Entree: I tried their signature Tagliatelle pasta with meat sauce. While the flavor was definitely there and the pasta was cooked just past al dente (which I didn't mind), the sauce was quite runny on the plate. The Price: Very reasonable--it definitely won't blow a hole in your wallet! The Verdict: While the hospitality and prices are great, the food just missed that "chef's kiss" quality I was hoping for. It's a nice spot, but overall it felt a bit overhyped compared to top-tier Italian dining.

I ordered through the app and it was ready in 15 minutes. I selected contactless curbside but, when I saw everyone else going in to get their order, I did the same thing and that is when I noticed there were signs on the windows that there was no curbside at the time. This store has a strange set up in my opinion. You enter from the side and the counter is on the side instead of in the middle of the store. A bit different than other Pizza Huts I have been to. I go to pick up my order and there were maybe only like 2 people working inside. They wore masks and followed protocol until I had received my order and looked to see if my dipping sauces were in the box, I was missing 2 garlic butters and the employee went and got them and put them in the pizza box with ungloved hands and kinda didn't sit well with me. He didn't touch my food but gloves should be worn in my opinion to put stuff in the box during this time. Now to the food, I did the $5 pizza and Cheese breadsticks. Both very good but, the pizza had too much crust and was cut into 7 slices instead of 8. They were out of many other menu items on the app that I would have chosen. I will come back to this location however I hope they work on proper Covid precautions when handling other people's food. And that I can get more pizza instead of crust lol.
