I tried Nonna's for the first time on New Year's Eve and was back there in less than a week because I couldn't get enough. It was so delicious the first time and even better the second time. Their shrimp Alfredo is the best I've ever had. The sauce is delicious and the shrimp was cooked perfectly I genuinely don't think anything could have been better about it. Their rolls are hot and fresh and the dipping oil it comes with is delish. We got our food quickly even though it was busy and the staff is all so friendly! Joined some former work colleagues for an early dinner on Saturday. Really beautiful spot in Raymore with calming and elegant decor. Service was really good from start to finish. Chicken Piccata was light and fresh, although the chicken seemed almost poach rather than pan fried seared as described. The side Cesar was very good and the garlic knots were fresh and delicious. Two friends had eggplant parm that looked amazing and was a very large portion. Another had chicken fettuccine which looked equally good. The dining room was filling up as we left and the hard finishes in the dining room make it noisy which wasn't a problem for us, but wouldn't be a good choice for a quiet romantic dinner unless you dined very early or late. I went to Nonna's the first time last week, as it's just down the street from me and my mother has been wanting to go-so we went together. It's a nice restaurant, and the decor is stylish. There are plenty of servers working, and if the owner is about, they are very on top of things. The menu of available items has a nice selection, including wine and other alcoholic drinks if you'd like those. The prices, to me, are reasonable, for what you get. On a personal note, I ordered the calamari appetizer (it was decent), a Cesar side salad (good, but the dressing was a smidge too sweet for me), the spaghetti and meatballs (great flavor and two huge meatballs), and the lemon berry cream mascarpone for dessert (which was a slice of cake, and had AMAZING flavor). I will for sure come back again and recommend this restaurant. read more

Amazing staff, gorgeous atmosphere, and phenomenal food! This is the second restaurant opened by the owners and it does not disappoint! This location is more upscale than their first one, but not in a stuffy way by any means. There is a lot more seating in this location as well. I had the Rustica chicken dish and it was delicious. The vodka sauce was so good! My friend got the Sinatra's favorite and the salmon and gnocchi were perfectly done. The lemon cake and tiramisu were a perfect end to a wonderful meal. read more

Nonna's Trattoria was a surprising fancy restaurant located in a store front in a shopping strip. My husband and I happen to be passing through Raymore after dropping off our granddaughter at an activity. We weren't sure what we would find, but we looked up top places to eat in Raymore and Nonna's was rated as number one. After our visit and meal we can see why it is number one. The food was delicious the service was excellent and the atmosphere was perfect for a nice date out! Our waitress took time to explain some of the menu items and we felt the food items we ordered were very authentic! Great fettuccine, and the cheese spinach dip with bread was a great appitizer. A bit on the pricier side, so perfect for a date, but friends and families would enjoy it as well for a special night out! read more

Exceptional from start to finish just like their other restaurant. Ambiance is welcoming and allows you to sit back and relax. The food is fresh and balanced. You can taste each ingredient in the dishes. The portions are perfect. If you are a lighter eater you will have leftovers of not you will leave full and happy. The complimentary garlic knots are delicious but the dipping sauce is a must especially if you're a garlic lover. The tiramisu is the best I've ever had. It is fluffy but not too moist and the coffee flavor is an accent not overpowering. It is made in house. read more

We have been waiting anxiously for this place to open and so excited it did! First the owners are such lovely people and care about their customers and in making sure everyone leaves happy! Today we had lunch at the new Nonnas in Raymore. What an absolute gem we have now located here in our little city. The food could easily go against any Italian restaurant in all of KC. All of their pastas are made fresh from scratch daily. We started with the complimentary warm yeast rolls and oil. Then we ordered the spinach shrimp & artichoke hot dip appetizer served with toasted points. Delightful. I enjoyed the pappardelle bolognese (some of the best I've ever had) and my husband had the carbonara. We've been to Italy and my husband's Italian so when I tell you this is the real deal, it is worth checking out! What a surprise! Independent not a chain which serves great Italian food in Raymore. We need more restaurants like this and less chains and fast food. I like to go to locally owned businesses. Usually much better service and food. This place hits all the points. In a strip mall and this stands out as a true jewel. We ordered 4 different meals and all four diners were happy with dinners. Pasta was cooked perfectly, shrimp were huge, sauces were all tasty. Excellent dinner rolls with dipping oil and simple salad was fresh and tasty. Large could be a meal or shared by two or three. There is so much to love about Nonna's Trattoria! The restaurant has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere and the food smells as soon as you walk in are intoxicating. We ordered the mussels as an appetizer and were impressed with the depth of flavor in the sauce. For our meals I ordered the gnocchi and my husband had the picata. The chicken was tender and the lemon flavor was great on the picata. The gnocchi with the cream sauce was fantastic! The veal scallopini with the Marsala sauce was also very tasty. The two dishes to me have very different flavor profiles, but I was very glad to have each of them on my plate! We were so impressed that we ordered two meals to go to try the next day (lasagna and papardelle). The lasagna was solid and reheated well but the papardelle was exceptional. The service we received was also attentive and friendly. We will absolutely be returning with friends and family. read more

The menu was more refined and a little pricier but the food was still amazing and well worth the price. The service was amazing as always. I took my wife to Nonna's Italian Restaurant for her birthday tonight and the entire visit was just fantastic! The new location in Raymore is very convenient and easy to find. The inside is very clean and stylish. The food was exceptional! We shared the Nonna's salad as an appetizer, just delicious! All the ingredients were so fresh, and the house dressing was great! We ordered chicken albedo with feta noodles in a white sauce. The chicken was very moist and tender. The noodles were perfect, and the white sauce was the best I have ever tasted. We topped things off with a Tiramisu dessert, my wife's favorite. It was sooooo good. Or waitress was so kind and polite! She was very attentive and took great care to make sure our night was great! We tried the new Nonna's tonight. The menu is the same as La Nonna's in Belton. We arrived for our reservation a little early and were seated. Our waitress was prompt in bringing our wine and appetizers but that's where it started to go wrong. We place our order shortly after 6:00 and did not receive our food for almost an hour. Our waitress disappeared and never let us know why it was taking so long. Several other parties were seated, ordered, ate and left before we were served. We asked to see the manager. Instead of immediately trying to find out where our food was, she decided to argue that they were so busy and that's why it was taking so long. There were several empty tables and , as I said earlier, other parties had been seated after us and had their meals. The food was excellent when we finally got it other than there being mushrooms on one dish that was specifically ordered without mushrooms. We were not offered grated parmesan for our meals when it seemed to be standard at other tables. We were also offered no discounts for our trouble. I'm really disappointed because we love the Belton restaurant and will stick to going there. I feel for the wait staff is the manager treats them the way we were treated. read more
