BEWARE! DO NOT USE THIS CAR WASH! We took our vehicle to Eclipse Car Wash in Edwardsville, IL. Upon…read moreentering the wash, they had a difficult time with the conveyor belt and mentioned it wasn't working properly and had to shut down the process to "fix" it. Once in the wash, the machine cracked our windshield - there was zero damage prior. Upon exiting, we stopped and showed the employees the damage. They had us submit a claim form and said they'd get back to us. Fast forward, they sent an email stating they weren't liable and went into a diatribe about how this is how "tempered glass works" (Windshields aren't made of tempered glass, they are laminated glass). When I pushed back and told them I expected them to fix it or pay our deductible they refused.I contacted my insurance company and they said that the deductible is $250 and it could potentially raise our insurance rates if I file a claim. They refuse to take responsibility. I have contacted the Attorney General, the Better Business Bureau, and will make sure to tell everyone to NEVER EVER TAKE THEIR VEHICLE TO ECLIPSE CAR WASH OR ANY OTHER CAR WASH THEY OWN (they own many). Buyer beware - this is NOT how you do business.

I prefer touchless car washes and this one has self service touch less, soft brush and the DIY car wash types. About half of my visits here end up with me NOT getting a car wash. It's real hit or miss. After selecting my wash preference, and inserting my credit card - nothing happens. I wait thinking it's delaying the transaction. Nothing. I cancel that transaction. Repeat the process. Nada. Try again. Cancel the transaction-again. At this point I give up and back out and away. Executive Car Wash?? What a misnomer. I'll just bypass Executive and drive to Edwardsville for a car wash from here on out.

There was very little difference in the car between going in and coming out, other than the dirt was wet. There is no attendant on duty and the only phone number I was able to find for this car wash appears to go to a fax machine. I will continue to try to get the $8 fee refunded or the charge to my credit card reversed.

Blackout is about 10 minutes from the VPC; Responded right away via email and text and the whole process was smooth from beginning to end. Stevie welcomed us and made us comfortable right away. I had no doubts leaving our truck with him. Next day we turned in to the VPC and their response was it was "Perfect". I highly recommend Stevie for all PCS moves.

Tried the regular wand bay and put in 5 bucks and hit presoak and it sputtered and blew air and mist a few times and that was it so switched over to soap wash and no soap. So basically I paid 5 bucks for a rinse and another dollar to dry. About a month ago I went there and they had quite a few features out of order in the wash bays like tire wheel cleaner etc....If you want to blow money and have a dirty car afterwards then this is your place to go. I visit this car wash quite often as I have membership on three vehicles. The last few times I have…read morenot been very impressive. The blow dryers as you're exiting the car wash only blow in the water around which means if you don't want water spots you have to stop and dry the whole vehicle off after going through. (Very frustrating). After I was done drying my vehicle off, I went to go vacuum it, and it took five vacuums to find one that was working. Which is an improvement from last time when it took 6. Being a newer car wash, you would think maintenance would be top-of-the-line. I'll give it a couple more tries, Then it will be time to shop around town.
