From the Eye-test on site which was relaxed, thorough and unrushed to help in choosing frames and lenses the staff were brilliant and helpful. They even went as far as providing me with temporary glasses as I was out of spare glasses whilst I wait for the order to arrive. Due to the range they have and the service they provide I'm always happy to recommend!

I tried the chat function on their website, no response. I sent a message on their facebook page, no response. After my second email to customer service they responded by saying "we'll let you know when it's on its way". I emailed back to ask them to specify if I should wait a day, a week or a month but of course nobody bothered to reply. There's no option to cancel the order so I'll have to talk to my credit card company to get my money back. I'm sure they're lovely people in the store but their online customer service is non-existent.

There were 4 employees, and a middle aged blonde lady with glasses was very frazzled, saying to wait, then taking other customers. She had a very rude tone, after telling us that they only do eye exams on fridays, she referred us to Vision Express. And, that's the only reason I'm giving them 2 stars because the employee at Vision express was very kind and helpful. You should know if a customer is asking for an emergency eye exam, it's probably because they can't see where they're going. You're in a vulnerable state, and should be more understanding!

I wanted to love Burlington Arcade but their selection just wasn't what I was expecting…read more The shops at Burlington Arcade lean mostly to boutique shoes and suits and jewelry, no scarves or wraps or silk, almost nothing feminine. It felt very much like the focused customer base were men (and gifts they would buy for themselves or their wives) and the selection of the lane offered really showcased that. I still think it's a fun walk through if you're visiting, but I wouldn't go expecting to buy gifts for women outside of jewelry.

The glasses themselves are fine - nothing overwhelming for being over engineered, and the materials themselves change over time so the precise fitting becomes irrelevant as the frames shift themselves leaving the product not resilient and requiring expensive repairs. Their optical eye test was also very professional, using state of the art equipment and one of the most comprehensive eye tests I've done.
