The last time i came i had an amazing shopping trip and was looked after by the amazing ENI. He was very calm and did not rush me at all. He was fantastic at giving advice. Between is he helped me choose a total of 8 pairs of glasses. 6 were reading and general glasses and 2 pairs were sun glasses. I had a mixture of cheaper frames and designer frames. I am so very very happy with what i ended up with. I cannot recommend ENI enough .When you next go be sure to ask for ENI, he will make your eye visit a complete pleasure. This is because they have the best prices and choices on Specs. For me there is no optician like Specsavers because I have tried visiting other ones but I ended up coming back to Specsavers. This is because they have the best prices and choices on Specs. For those who wear glasses or contact lenses, you know that this can be very expensive, paying for your eye test to buying your specs or contact lenses. Compared to other optician I have visited, Specsavers offers lenses at reasonable prices and great offers on designer frames. The last time I went into the Kingsland Road branch, the person that served me was very helpful by assisting me in choosing the right frames for my face. It took me over 2hours to make a choice on the frame I wanted and he was very patient with me. I had to make sure I choose the right frames, as I will be stock with them for almost 2years.

These guys are definitely a cut above. Can't remember what the optemetrist was called but they were lovely and gave me some good info about eye care ! Will be coming back here as required!

Yes, definitely…read more I bought a gorgeous and pricy pair of glasses here a couple of years ago and they've taken care of me ever since. £25 for my eye exam, £90 for my lenses (my vision is quite poor).... not gonna tell you how much I spent on my frames... but all taken care of promptly and with a smile. They even helped me no problem when I wanted to order my contacts in the US (they had to send my prescription) rather than through them because it was cheaper. When I broke said expensive frames (that colour was sadly discontinued), they offered to order two pairs of the same frames in different colours so I could try them out. Sure, you can get inexpensive glasses elsewhere, but this is a small, privately owned optometrist that will really take care of your vision... stylishly!

Recently I've upgraded to some new Japanese made lenses which are remarkably crisp and better for reading than my previous lenses. The test equipment is very modern and you can now look at your retina on the Apple display if so inclined. I don't change my glasses very often, but I take the tube here whenever I do or for a routine eye test. Islington is a nice part of town so pop down and have a coffee near the canal next time you visit.

King Cross Eyes is just the treasure trove I have been looking for. A charming shop with a few small floors filled with some of the best selection I have seen. I staff and owners were very helpful and I walked out with 3 pair! Hated to even write a review as I wanted to keep this my secret!
