They have alot of staff there but from what I was told it's definitely needed on the weekends. So I'd note try to avoid Saturdays if you don't want a long waiting time. Goodie for me I was there on a Thursday evening so I was in and out in a flash! Dr. Gregory Eakins was the fabulous optometrist that was assigned to me during my visit and I cannot say enough good words about him! So friendly and overall just a blast to have an exam with. He was able to get me an updated prescription so I wasn't blind anymore, I'm so excited to see better now! I did order contacts through them and was told it should arrive in a week or so, they can have orders delivered straight to your door so that's convenient. Glasses for me would have been 60% off but I prefer to get mine online so I opted out. But from what I saw they have a HUGE selection and that discount is great so definitely check out what they offer. All the staff was super friendly- they were all very knowledgeable about my eye insurance and how it worked. They made sure I understood and didn't have any questions. All my questions were answered. I had stopped in several months ago after I fell asleep with my glasses on and broke a screw they didn't charge me, but asked me to consider them the next time I needed an eye exam. Then the crazy stuff happened at my previous eye center. I am a bit nervous bc my prescription changed, but I have been having some issues and they think this could be the reason. Fingers crossed that all this happened for a reason. They have an excellent selection of glasses to choose from and there was a sale on the lenses! Great deal to get a new pair of glasses and my lens changed from two other sets.

I have horrible experiences with chain optometrists and was very leery of Accu-Vision. However, I…read morehad no more contacts and was in town for only one day. As soon as I walked in, they were busy, but someone did say hello to me. However, I could not tell who said it. I was in the waiting room for roughly 10 minutes before someone took me back and did the start of my exam such as current vision on my glasses that I was wearing, eye pressure, and dilated my eyes. I then went back to the waiting room for about another 10-15 minutes to give my eyes enough time to dilate. Then the doctor came and got me and took me to the exam room. He was super nice but I can not remember his name unfortunately. He explained everything clearly, I have papilledema which means I have to see an ophthalmologist every 6 months. He noticed the swelling right away and made all the notes on my file to make sure he stays up on what my opthamologist recommends. The exam was through but not time consuming in my opinion. Since I live 3 hours away, they even offered to mail my contacts to me. Once I received them I completely forgot which eye had what prescription but thankfully they had already marked the boxes as R and L so I know which eye had what strength which was amazing. I can so many positive things about my first experience here but I think I've said enough. Even though this place is way out of the way, I will definitely take the drive next year for my annual exam. I have family in Murfreesboro, so that is a plus. Anyway, I can't say much about the glasses experience as I only needed contacts this time seeing how my strength stayed the same but getting contacts was an absolutely smooth and easy process. BTW through. If you decide to choose this Accu-Vision location for your next eye exam I do not believe you will be disappointed.
