I had the worst experience here and I am totally beside myself. I had a consultation with darlene and showed her bad my hair was and had been dealing with it for a long time. Every day is a struggle getting ready and i literally cry everyday. I finally saved enough money for extensions and darlene agreed to do them. I showed her a picture of what I was looking for and the color. Well she ended up using three different methods of extensions, beads, tape, and sewn in. She put so many extensions in when she started off at the bottom and when she got to the top, she just like quit. You could see the extensions at the top and all she said was to work with it and play with it. Just blend it in. See the photos attached and tell me if you could blend it in. Better yet, tell me if you would go out in public? Because I had to wear a hat. I went out the next day and bought a topper piece for $150 and went back to her to finish the mess she created. She has toppers there and told me she has to color them to match her customers hair so why didn't she do that for me? Because she used so many different colors that I didnt ask her to do? Or because she was too tired as she did a full head prior to doing mine? She sewed in the top piece so I could be out in public and not be embarrassed but the next couple of days, Im noticing big gaps where no extensions were and the some beads were falling out, and some extensions just didn't even match with all the colors she put in. I was in tears again. I went to another stylist to show her what I had done and if she could fix it and she was taken back at what my head looked like. She called over another stylist and said look at this! Three different methods, no pattern! She told me she could not fix it and would have to remove them all and start all over. She told me to either go back to D's or ask for you money back. So back I went and she took some out, fixed some that were in the wrong place and added a few more, cut to shape the hair around my face as that was what I wanted in the first place and off I went again. The following week I was on vacation in Vegas and the top piece is falling off, beads are falling out and the hair was getting all frizzy. I ended up missing a show with my daughter that I prepaid for because of my hair. We had to drive to a wig store just so I could try to enjoy the rest of the vacation which didn't go well. When I returned home I got a text from Darlene and she said I hope you had a nice time on vacation but she won't be able to do my hair anymore. So the $900 I spent is going to be thrown out the window because nobody will touch her mess. She quit on me as extensions are not a one time thing. I thought getting extensions was going to allow me to start living my life again and get the self esteem back I lost but now I am even worse than I was before I got them. Im a single mom and if she thinks I have $900 to just throw around she is sadly mistaken. She did not do the job she should have done for $900 and did not follow through with follow up appointments. For that she deserves nothing. I am disgusted and I hope nobody goes through what I went through. Maybe a different profession would suit her best. Oh and I love reading how Darlene quit on others using the same excuse she didn't think we were a good match...Nobody is looking to date you Darlene, just get our hair done and with your prices hair that is FLAWLESS. And your replies to others is just ridiculous... Oh you want her to be a happy girl, but the rest of us can just go to hell right? You suck! read more

If I can give Darlene zero stars I would. This lady took me in and did my extensions in a way where you can see it . I showed her my extensions and hair prior to appointment and she said she can match colors. She definitely did not. Instead colored my hair way off the extensions. Gave her a chance to fix it and made it worse. I waited a month and booked another appointment with her to give her benefit of the doubt where I was going to pay whatever to get this mess fixed and then canceled on me telling me she was going to take time off a month prior to appointment. I've gone to Darlene about 5-6 times, at first I liked the end product of my hair and over time she seemed less invested in making my visions Show through my hair. The second to last time I went she kept calling me by the name skylar which is not my name and that about been the 5th time or so I've seen her. The last time I had gone to her I told her I just want my roots touched up to match my blonde, she just suggested we weave it and lift the rest so it looked like we did it all. I agreed. She ends up putting a few blonde streaks on my roots and dying the rest RED. I've never had red roots in my life and other stylist have never brought out red through my hair. Also it did not even look like I had got my hair done. No one could tell and if they did they had asked if I dyed my roots red. She suggestion I come in another time to get rid of some it and then she could only see me after thanksgiving (as if I wanted red roots for thanksgiving). She also has been doing my extensions and I have a huge part in the middle of short hair with the rest long.
