Let me begin by saying that I have been a color slave for years and with that comes damage and residual hair color that is nearly impossible to get out. Recently, I decided that I needed a new look. I made an appointment with Christopher because I knew my decision to change my hair was going to be a challenge and Christopher was a highly recommended by a few people I know. I arrived and immediately told Christopher that I wanted to have my hair blond on the top with a darker color underneath. This may not seem like a complicated request; however, I my hair was dark brown and RED which of course is the hardest color to get out!! Not only that, but the color was all over the place...I had previously had my hair done but unfortunately it did not come out as professionally as I would have liked. Before anything else, Christopher took the time to listen to what I wanted and identify all the shades of brown and red in my hair. He then made a game plan for how to tackle this challenge. He warned me that I may not get the perfect shade of blond because of how red my hair was from the past few color jobs I had done. I understood and decided to go for it. Christopher decided to do many processes and pay careful attention to how my hair was reacting. I looked in the mirror when we were done and omg, my hair is BLOND and HEALTHY!! There is no discoloration, orange streaks, or breakage. I have posted before/after pictures as well above. He did the most amazing job in one appointment....not two or three to get a great color...but one! The talent it takes to change hair from red to a perfect blond color is unreal and incredibly hard to find especially because he kept the health of my hair. If you need any color correction or just feel like a change, I recommend Christopher because he listens to what you want, he is honest, and puts all his effort into his work. I have never been to anyone who can do what he did for me in one appointment. More than anything, he will make sure your hair remains healthy throughout this change. My AWESOME cousin bought me a Groupon for this place for a shellac manicure. The print out says that it is originally a $30 value, but was priced at only $15. For a gel manicure, this is a STEAL. However, this manicure was hastily done. The deal was for Amy, and she was real sweet and nice. But she worked awfully fast. Considering that there was NO ONE in the salon, I couldn't figure out her hurry. She plowed through filing and cutting my cuticles; my nails barely had any time to soak. The gel manicure is a great way to get a lasting color, but she worked so quickly through it that I felt that it was more of a "polish job" as opposed to a "manicure" per se. Maybe because I paid less than the regular price? Also I didn't get a hand and forearm massage, which I thought albeit short, should have been standard for a manicure, but I didn't receive one. Including waiting for my coats to dry in between under the UV light, I was out of there in about 25 minutes. Too soon for my taste. I read more

I first went to Kristopher when I was 18, and had the best first experience of getting my hair done. Every time I go in I feel as if I am apart of their family. I recently have moved back to the states and found Kristopher again to do my hair, and I am very impressed with how Kris makes my color sparkle by adding highlights and lowlights. Lets just start by saying my service was awful!!! I went in with a beautiful carmel weave and made an appointment with Christopher to have my full weave refreshed and my roots touched up. I wanted to go one shade of blond lighter than what I had (to add dimension) and he decided to make me a brunette! I was shocked when I looked in the mirror! He also put in random highlights that were literally white. I then made him tone the blond highlights because I was not about to walk out of there looking like a skunk. I then called Kelly, his wife, and explained to her that I wanted to be blond, but Christopher took matters into his own hands. She than began to yell at me on the phone saying that this is what I asked for. So after a verbal wrestling match, she agreed to set up on appointment. She then proceeded to only do a partial weave (hardly!) with random highlights here and there. They turned out a nasty brass orange and some were bright yellow. They were half ass and chunky. I looked like a 14 year old girl who wanted to try highlights at home. Oh, and did I mention the cut? Christopher attempted to cut my bangs but left me with more of a brick on the side of my head. They were so chunky, didn't do anything and were out of place in my hair. in the end they charged me $130.00. They have refused to give me back my money. To get everything fixed, I went to an Aveda salon because it was that terrible. Aveda charged me another $120.00. Overall this experience has cost a poor college student $250.00. Thank you De La Pham. I will never go see them again for any type of service and I have been telling all my friends and family about the horrible service I received at this one star salon. read more
