I found Thomas Edward Salon on Yelp after looking for a solid dry bar style service in Temecula. I…read morerecently moved from LA and was spoiled. There was always a Dry Bar nearby home or my office. It was predictable and dependable for special occasions and weekly blow outs as I'm terrible at doing my hair. I asked around everywhere online, FB Mom's groups. I guess it's not common here like it is in LA. Anyways, had a quick chat on Yelp with the salon and booked an appointment for a blow out and makeup for my outdoor maternity photo shoot. Michele did both my hair and makeup for me. She was excellent. She needed little direction from me at all. She knew exactly what I wanted and executed perfectly. She's great! I was impressed. I will definitely return. As a newbie to the area, I didn't know but if you come here on a Saturday be prepared to park far away at City Hall and walk over. Not a big deal unless you're 8 months pregnant and hot! It's located right in the heart of Old Town and the tourists pour in here! Lesson learned. Give yourself extra time! Thank you for a wonderful experience, Michele.

Hands down one of the BEST hair and makeup experiences we've ever had!…read more From start to finish, our experience at Thomas Edwards Salon in Temecula was flawless. We shared our inspiration photos for both hair and makeup, and Alena and Mercedes absolutely brought our vision to life--with a level of care, artistry, and professionalism that exceeded all expectations. Alena, who did our hair, was simply phenomenal. She carefully walked through the inspo photos we provided and made thoughtful suggestions based on our face shapes and event needs. I told her I wanted volume at the crown, but still needed a style that would hold all night long--and wow, did she deliver. My hair stayed perfectly in place for 12+ hours, with lightweight hairspray that didn't feel stiff and a secure yet gentle hold using bobby pins. Alena's approach was kind, open, and collaborative, and her execution was perfection. I truly felt beautiful and comfortable the entire night. Mercedes, who did our makeup, was equally amazing. She matched our references exactly--giving my daughter a fresh, natural glow, and giving me a smoky glam look with a subtle shadow wing that was elegant and dramatic without being overdone. She even added a touch of body oil on exposed areas for that extra touch of radiance! Her attention to detail and commitment to making us feel confident and camera-ready was incredible. The reviews were right--these ladies are magic. I live in San Diego, and I will happily make the drive back to Temecula for my next event. Yes--even if it means going all the way back to downtown SD. They are that good. And a big thank you to Brenda for setting us up with these two gems! You've got a dream team at Thomas Edwards Salon, and we're already looking forward to our next visit.

Lisette's bio read like a dream, and I felt confident booking with her even before reaching out. She helped me choose the right service through her online booking, and I was able to come in the very next day. From the moment I arrived, I felt completely at ease. She encouraged me to relax and listen to my audiobook, with absolutely no pressure to make conversation. I almost fell asleep during the foil process, which says everything about how peaceful the experience was. Afterward, Lisette generously offered a complimentary bottled water and a Starbucks espresso, which was such a thoughtful touch. I asked to try a 90's blowout at the end, and it turned out beautifully. I also mentioned that I use K18, and she seamlessly incorporated bond repair into my wash. No trim was needed at the end of the appointment--no split ends! I left feeling refreshed, cared for, and confident in my hair. I will absolutely be back. Thank you so much, Lisette!

This review is for Brooke Congalves:…read more I'm new to the area and had been searching for a new hairstylist, which can honestly be nerve-racking when you've been searching from someone you can trust with your hair for years. I don't have access to social media, so I ended up finding Brooke through Yelp and I am SO happy I did! I reached out to her by text and she responded almost immediately. Before my appointment, I sent her a photo of my current hair along with a few inspiration pictures of what I was hoping to achieve. Right from the beginning, communication was easy and I felt like she understood what I was looking for. The salon itself is adorable clean, welcoming, and has a really cute modern feel. When I met Brooke, she took the time to actually look at my hair and talk with me about my goals. One of the most important things to me is keeping my hair healthy because I'm trying to grow it long which has taken some time. She was very upfront that getting exactly where I ultimately want to be would be a process, and I REALLY appreciated that instead of trying to do too much in one appointment. She respected the integrity and health of my hair while still getting me incredibly close to my inspiration photos. Brooke was also just genuinely nice and easy to talk to. The entire appointment was comfortable, relax and I was in and out in about three hours, which was another huge plus. She's also only about a 15-minute drive from my house, so finding someone this close who I actually trust with my hair feels like hitting the jackpot! Her pricing was very affordable, but to be completely honest, the quality of her work was beyond! If you're looking for someone who listens to what you want, is realistic about the process, cares about maintaining the health and integrity of your hair, and can actually deliver what you show her in an inspiration photo, go see Brooke. So happy I found MY new stylist. 10/10. Absolutely recommend!

I can't say enough good things about Charlene and Launa!…read more I was attending a wedding at a Temecula winery and wanted to be done up for the occasion. Charlene handled my hair and Launa did my makeup, and together they nailed it. Charlene guided me on adding curl but not too much volume. I was very happy with the result. Launa's makeup was equally awesome. She made me feel put together without my makeup being heavy or overdone. It held up beautifully through a long evening and I received a lot of compliments. Both ladies were professional, warm, attentive, and invested in making sure I loved the final result. They listened to what I wanted and delivered just that. I left feeling confident, beautiful, and ready for a gorgeous wedding. I would absolutely book Charlene and Launa again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for hair and makeup artists who are talented, professional, and a pleasure to work with. Thank you both for helping make the weekend so special!

This review would have been 5 stars if not for my initial experience…read more for the school for Andrew I drove from Los Angeles for a 4:30 PM appointment and arrived early. Unfortunately, my original barber did not show up until around 4:50 PM. When I politely asked what happened, his response came across as dismissive and unprofessional rather than acknowledging the delay. After driving all the way from LA and waiting well past my appointment time, that was disappointing. That said, I want to give a huge shoutout to Uriyah (I may be misspelling his name). When I explained the situation and requested a different barber, he handled everything professionally, respectfully, and without hesitation. The school was extremely busy, but he listened and found a solution. I was reassigned to Andrew, and Andrew was absolutely 5 stars. He was friendly, professional, attentive, and gave me one of the best haircuts I've had in a long time. We had great conversations throughout the appointment, he made me feel comfortable, and he was incredibly kind to my dog as well. His attention to detail, positive attitude, and genuine care for his craft completely turned the experience around. So while I'm giving the school 4 stars because of the initial appointment experience, Andrew personally earned 5 stars from me. He completely salvaged the visit, and I'd happily book with him again. Thank you to Andrew and Uriyah for turning a frustrating start into a great experience.

I had to ask 2 times how much longer until im called back, the receptionist went to check but did not give me an update. The instructor did not check ONCE on the student. My daughter went for a cut. Her hair was to the middle of her butt. She asked for 4 inches off. They cut to her bra line. She wasn't able to see how much was being cut since she was cutting from the back. Afterwards my daughter was very upset. She told her this isn't what she asked for. The girl was not apologetic until she noticed my daughter looked down. Seeing different lengths of hair. She probably kept messing up and continued to cut. She left upset and crying. I called the school to speak with a manager and have yet to hear back. We understand this is a school and they are still learning. An instructor should be checking on them more often so these mistakes don't happen. It's just hair and I had to remind my daughter of that. But cutting off more than double what was asked is unacceptable.
