We were then introduced to a sales specialist who wanted to sell us a membership that included one on one training. When we asked for a free trial for a couple days we were told that we could get a couple free days but we needed to sign up for a 3 month membership at 280 dollars every two weeks to unlock the free trial, but we could cancel within 3 days no questions asked. We decided the next day it wasn't for us. When we stopped in we were told not to worry that they would take care of the cancellation and call us later that day to confirm. Three texts later trying to convince us to reconsider the salesperson relented and said that they would handle the cancellation. That night I received a email stating that I would be getting biweekly charges of 280 dollars. The next morning I was informed that I had to come in and personally cancel my membership because he couldn't get it done without me. I went there and he pulled up his screen and after a couple minutes stated that I had been successfully canceled. However there was nothing he could give me in writing. I asked to take a screenshot of his monitor and he allowed me to. I then asked why I had to come in at all since I didn't have to sign anything and he said that they wanted him to have another shot at selling me the membership. Two weeks later and they still have not credited my credit card even though I received a email from corporate that my membership is canceled. I have filed a dispute with my credit card company. STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE.

I asked specifically for a trial pass. Instead, the sales rep signed me up as a full member and assured me I had 14 days to cancel without being charged the annual membership fee. Based on what I was told, I figured I had nothing to lose by trying it out. On day 13, I walked in to cancel since it just wasn't going to work for me or my wife. That's when they told me I would be charged the $90 annual fee plus one full month, because cancellation supposedly requires 30 days notice. How exactly am I supposed to give 30 days notice when I had only been a member for 13? I asked for a manager, who basically shrugged and said there was nothing they could do. She even asked if I had tried the 3-day trial pass -- the same trial pass I originally asked for and was told didn't exist! So now I'm being charged an annual fee and a month of membership for a gym I only went to because I was misled by their sales staff. The whole experience felt dishonest and manipulative, and they absolutely refused to make it right. Be extremely careful before signing anything here. Don't trust what the sales reps tell you -- get everything in writing. I wish I never walked in the door.

Everything has been clean and in working condition for the entire time I have been working out here... which is rare for any gym! Sure, it can get busy and you might have to wait for a specific piece of equipment at some times of the day... but just do what I do - flex and scare away the little fellas! (shudder) Frank is a knowledgeable and pretty tough trainer. He is always the resource for nutrition, dieting, weight loss/gain, strength training, cardio, supplements, protein, and the list goes on. He will sit down with you from the beginning, do simple things like health history, past exercise routines that work for you, age related issues, and he will do a free session to get a feel for what you need. It's nice to have a trainer ask you what your goals are, how you can achieve them, and how he will and can help you do that. There's cardio equipment, weights and it's a real gym with pretty much everything you need. BTW Frank is moving into a bigger place with more activities being added so everyone who is an aerobics class junkie, a weightlifter, a person needing to lose weight, to a kid wanting to gain muscle or definition, anything you need fitness wise it will happen here. Another thing that is so great about TNT Fitness is that Frank will call you when you want to miss an appointment because well you just don't want to go to the gym, or you're tired sore etc. Frank doesn't yell or demean you, sorry Jillian fans. nor is he like Bob he's not going to hold your hand to make you put down the cheeseburger. Frank is a great trainer, he is supportive, helpful, and will tell you like it is. Whether you want to hear it or not is, well up to you. They offer 3 free sessions, but I only needed needed one to convince myself that full body EMS is very beneficial to someone like me! I ended up purchasing an Ohm at home suit, which is very easy to operate, via the Ohm fitness at home app. I have a lot of muscle atrophy from my stroke and EMS really gets the blood flowing to these muscles. It's been about 2 months of workouts and there are signs of progress. I highly recommend Ohm Fitness to Seniors and especially those that have disabilities. You are not lifting heavy weight , but you do have to do the work. You could do almost nothing, but your improvements will take longer. If you choose the Red Mountain location, you will find a well organized site, staffed with very helpful and friendly people, along with knowledgeable instructors.
