The Everett Clinic took over Associates in Family Medicine here in Bellingham and I have been totally disheartened by the dramatic decrease in my personal care as a patient. It took at least a week during the Everett take-over for phone calls to go through to the practice. I know one seriously ill person caught in this transition, and wonder how many more patients were ignored. When tests indicated that I had a bladder infection I did not receive a phone call. Instead, the information was posted on "the portal," which I had no reason to be checking. A prescription had been called in for me. When I came in for a repeated urine test, I had to argue with the lab that I needed a urine rather than blood test. We just do what the chart tells us to do, they assured me. In a subsequent visit there was little eye contact from my provider. He remained fixed on the computer. Ironically, important medical history always seems inaccurate or inaccessible when it's pulled up. He provided me with attentive, personal care prior to the take-over and I am convinced this is not the medical care he would provide before Everett Clinic moved to Bellingham. read more

I went to the clinic for preventive care and when the doctor asked me for any concern, so I told her. I received the billed for over $600 for blood tests that are not included in my preventive visit and another test that doctor should have done a different test instead and that would be included, but she did not and ordered a different test which will be counted as office visit instead. Customer services are horrible and not try to help you out at all, they were rude. I can't believe this place is a health care provider who should be caring for you and patient's concerned. They had a 5-year old address I never gave them. to break this down more: 1) go to office for skin check 2) leaving i asked if i could pay the bill, they said it was free and smiled 3) 120 days later I get a call from collections 4) learn they have been sending a bill to an outdated address I never gave them (probably pre-populated in Epic) 5) they never called me once before sending to collections 6) calling their support line sends you through a maze of people who explain why they can't help you read more

Bridget franenholtz did two tests on me and said i had a swollen prostate. she put me on Tamsulosin one pill a day, had a scope done and she said everything was great and told me to take two pills a day. started to have side effects from the meds and they said it was not the meds I was taking , I ended up with a priapism and had two surgeries from it ,ended up at Harborview for the second surgery because dr yoon didn't know what he was doing , Harborview said it never should of happen and i never had a swollen prostate, permanent body damage and scars and it has change my life forever , have to dress differently every day, they said they did no wrong !! stay away from them. read more

My wife and I went in September 2020 to get a emergency covid test, due to possible exposure and a recent interaction with a elderly family member. My wife's results required her to take an appointment with a doctor to review results. After my test, I waited in the lobby for her, when she exited we both left. We were both, independently charged for the covid test, AND a doctor appointment. The later was ridiculous because I never saw a doctor. When i contested it with a representative, they said they would look into it. I got no contact back, but instead continual notices of the past due bill. When I again reached out to dispute, they again said they would look into it, but never got back to me. Now the bill is sent to collections, and I am forced to pay or otherwise suffer a negative credit impact. I have never been treated so poorly by a medical insitution. read more

Dr. Lesowski of Thomas Lake is a danger to her patients and those who she comes into contact with. She is arrogant, rude, judgmental, and deceitful. She almost killed our daughter because she refused to believe there were medical, underlying issues in a mentally-challenged, vulnerable, 22-year old woman. Instead, she wanted to send her to psych nurses and tell us to be "tougher" with her. Sara almost bled to death on the 2nd of July from bleeding ulcers, and now this woman is trying to rewrite history, so sad! PLEASE BE CAREFUL..... I 100% do not recommend this place. I came in for an annual preventative care check up because I needed to get my birth control pills renewal, which is 100% covered by my insurance. Two weeks later, I found out I had to pay out of pocket for about $170 because they coded this as "medical visit" instead of a "preventative care". I tried calling the billing office to explain my situation, and they were unsympathetic and rude, and refused to help me. For my annual check up, all was done was 1) checked my weight, 2) checked my height, 3) checked my blood pressure, 4) got my flu shot, 5) and they asked the standard health questions. For one of the questions, she asked me about my health, and I answered her honestly and said my skin was a bit flakey. Nothing else was done (no cream prescribes, no blood work done, etc.) But because I talked about my skin for 2 minutes, it was considered a "medical visit" instead of an "annual check up". It made me wish I wasn't honest in the questionnaire, so they couldn't up-charge me. PLEASE BE CAREFUL!!! I will not be coming back here. read more

My son was suffering from an ulcer and all he needed was antibiotics to clear it up. Dr. Srilatha Shoroff at Lake Stevens Everett Clinic walk-in could not have been more dismissive and condescending. She refused to treat or test him (what does she think her job is?) and literally told him when he said he was in so much pain that he'd missed almost two weeks of work that "I've had symptoms like this before and I still managed to get up and go to work everyday." Everett Clinic has gone from the cream of the crop to the poorest of the poor when it comes to patient care. We've been going there for almost 40 years and it's turned into a complete train wreck. Honestly I quit my job and got a new one to ensure I took my health more seriously before starting new medication. She canceled my procedure and I rescheduled with someone else now 6 months past my results I finally have an appointment to see her and change my medication to hopefully help. And what happens AGAIN she cancels!! Excuse me?!? Do you ever work? You're my doctors yet I haven't seen you in over a year?! You tell your patients to show up and take care of themselves yet when we need help and support or questions she fails every time! I cannot stand it. When my( older) twin daughter graduated medical school my parents had a family gathering to celebrate. Among the guests was my cousin, Dr. Jerome Finder, an experienced and respected Chicago Orthopedic surgeon. I remember Jerry's advice to my daughter - advice she told me several times was the bedrock of her doctor/patient relationships: Jerry put it simply: "Your patient may come to you for medical advice and help, but there is more to it. The patient may have concerns about their health, yes, but they are a parent worried about their children, a husband or wife, a brother or sister. They may be worried about the costs of your services, possible hospitalization, about a job necessary to feed and house their family - many problems and concerns in addition to the problem(s) that brought them to you. You must be a healer, a friend, a crutch - you must avoid causing more concerns, or exacerbating those they brought with them. In simple terms: Do no harm." The first ten years we with TEC we had a run of excellent doctors. The one we loved and respected the most left the Clinic - "Too much politics". When my wife or I was ill - he sometimes would call us in the evening to see how we were. The man was a real "mensch". There were several others, both Primary and Specialists that we thought were "great". In our opinion, As TEC started changing ownerships, things changed day by day. Some doctors acted as through the 20 minutes they gave us was an inconvenience to them. One would sit and type type type. He would ask a few perfunctory questions and type away for several minutes. When I looked at the After-Appointment material - I saw he failed to note half of what I came about. Another made an unscheduled visit to our home to see either my wife or I - I still can't tell you which. Before going to see my threshold Alzheimer's bed-ridden wife, I asked him to help her itchy rash between her legs and on her belly. I watched him, he barely glanced at my wife. I asked him what he would recommend to help the itching. No answer. Two days later I called his office to see if he had (or would) prescribe anything for my wife. The MA I spoke to said that the doctor said my wife suffered from "poor hygiene". Considering I had purchased a shower chair and gave my wife a shower EVERY day, changed her bed linens and bed clothing every other day, and besides my cleaning efforts, had a cleaning lady twice a week - that was da - -ed insulting. Aside from the Heart Failure clinic which does nothing more than do a periodic remote test of my Pacemaker - I try to avoid TEC physicians. I have very painful debilitating arthritis in most every joint, especially my knees. I walk (50' almost) with a cane. I use a wheelchair in my home, I depend on friends and neighbors to do my property maintenance and shopping. I've written my PCP by Mychart several times BEGGING for help - to be ignored. Frankly, my family and I agree the best solution is to leave TEC, and I will as soon as I sell my home. Maybe I'll luck out and find a PCP who listens and does something. read more

It's a good clinic overall but lacking space at the infusion center. If a patient needs to cancel an appointment it will be about a month before they can reschedule you. If you are on a medication recommended to be given once a month, just because a patient needs to cancel for some reason, now they will not get the medication for two months. This is not acceptable and puts costs above patient care. More beds, rooms or locations need to be added regarding the infusion center in Everett. read more

Associates of Family Medicine has recently been bought by TEC. My 90 year old mother has been a patient of the AFM since the mid 1990's. IMO she has received very sketchy care for all these years including one dr (HUGHES) setting up an appt for her at a Cancer center without informing HER that she has blood cancer! He also missed several diagnoses on my step father--one for drug induced torn hamstring and the other pancreatic cancer, which he died of. This time she was (again) not given her refill of sleep medicine in time and the stress of not sleeping for 2 days caused her to end up in the ER with sky high BP and AFIB. She thought she was dying. I called the clinic to inform them that their negligence has caused my mom to almost die. The lack of concern infuriated me. A woman named Christine, from the clinic called me back to ask if my mom ever got her meds and then proceeded to threaten my mom by refusing to allow her to be treated by them if I ever talked to their employee like that again. I was almost speechless by her yelling at me. What a cruel joke! They are worse than ever before. DO NOT GO THERE if you value your life. I could go on but whats' the use?? read more

I'm retired, and many of us cross-talk about medical services at businesses like Everett Clinic on various on-line forums like Facebook etc. The biggest concern I hear the most about is how your doctor will not prescribe anything for pain, anxiety or sleep issues anymore.If you complain, they might say that you are exhibiting "drug seeking behavior". In summary, what good is your doctor if all they can do for you is offer you a sleep study or a pain clinic, which in many cases is just a way for them to avoid addressing the problem while sending you down a dead end road and no viable solution. At the Everett Clinic, my doctor comes right out and tells me that there is nothing they can do because they can loose their license if they prescribe anything that actually works. Many retiree's like me have simply given up talking to our doctors on many issues because it is just a waste of time...they can't do anything so why bother. read more

I've had the same Dr. for many years and he has seen me through AFib twice, many traumas and multiple physical injuries. Since the Everett Clinic took over I can't even get an appt scheduled. I have 4 medications to keep my heart rate and BP in check and they have all expired. I've spent 5 hours on the phone on hold waiting for someone to respond. My insurance company said I needed to have a physical for it to continue. Made an appointment for June 8th. They weren't able to get me in until August 8th (today) now they have rescheduled me until October 8th. Right after we changed insurance companies my adult daughter went to the Smokey Point Everett Clinic., She provide our new insurance card to the intake person. The person took a copy of her insurance card and scheduled her to see a doctor. Turns out our new insurance is not accepted by Everett Clinic. My bad, I know. In my opinion a good health care clinic informs a prospective patient that their insurance is not covered before services are provided. I had occasion to go to the Gunderson surgery center. This was my third time there but only one was as a patient. My bride was treated well the two times she was a patient. They communicated well with us throughout the visits. The staff was very nice and very professional. The waiting room was crowded with people awaiting procedures with their significants with them . The chairs are uncomfortable for how long people are required to wait there. It would be nice if whoever designs surgery center waiting rooms would consider how long of a wait people are in for during outpatient surgery. I'm not asking for double wide, heated, vibrating recliners but chairs more befitting the wait would be nicer than the narrow, thinly padded ones they have. Other than that the visit was pleasant as it could be. read more

Actually, I didn't make my appointment I had scheduled to see Dr. Murphy at Harbor Pointe. I had requested a cholesterol test in advance, as I always did with Dr. Rohrenbach and okayed by ARNP Uberti, and what she did was okay a PSA test and a blood count (?), which was of no benefit to my major concerns. Apparently, she has continued to refuse to okay a cholesterol test. Scheduling the PSA test without consulting me first just set off an alarm bell. Over the decades I've read article after article in Harvard Men's health newsletter, even consumer reports health report, advising against routine PSA testing. Go to Nytimes online, search PSA test. Also, I'm 72, and my understanding is that routine testing isn't advised after age 70, anyway. I've been going to the Everett Clinic since 1992, I am used to what I used to consider to be the gold standard in health care. But Dr. Rohrenbach and other top doctors have retired early, and I am searching for a dr. that I can trust. I don't think Dr. Murphy is it. What is the first tenet of the Hippocratic oath? I can not give Everett Clinic Management any type of good ratings! Anyone contemplating going to Everett Clinic needs to understand how they are operating! Before going into this let me explain this; all healthcare personnel including doctors and staff are in my opinion the best you can find anywhere! The problem becomes when you need to see a specialist. Please verify what I am saying by calling into any of the specialists such as urology pulmonary Dermatology or anyone of the others sometimes it takes 6 months to get an appointment. From my experience I doesn't seem to matter how serious your ailments is. They are way understaffed and it doesn't matter how backed up the patient list is. I contacted Everett Clinic for allergy testing and was sent to the Mill Creek office. Dr. Generoso (who receives 5 stars for being amazing) explained that I was sent to the wrong office, apologized profusely, and told me that I had to be seen in Everett. So, after another two weeks of waiting I finally received the testing. Both on the phone and in person I was told that I would not get a bill for being sent to the wrong office. Of course, I received a bill. Within three days of receiving the bill I received a letter "threatening" to send me to collections. Everett Clinic refused to cancel the bill and told me that if I didn't pay I was going to collections. She then told me that she would send my account for review but I still had to pay it or else.... They also need to NOT work with Armada collections that have applied an absolute massive amount of interest on something that my son should never have been responsible in the first place. I was a patient for many years. After a 2 1/2 year assignment out of state, I returned and called the clinic to reestablished with Dr Bowlander- my former physician. But the receptionist that answered my call said that it would take eight months to get a new appointment! I asked her if I could get my blood pressure pills (that I was given by Everett Clinic before leaving to our work assignment. The receptionist actually stated "We do not give refills of blood pressure medication or any medication at our walk in clinic. People....I'm not asking for a narcotic! I'm asking for my heart and avoid a stroke! She said NO.. even while waiting for eight months to see my old doc (who is nice but lazy in my opinion). I was stunned and out of my mouth came the words "What good are you guys if you don't want to save my life by keeping me on my blood pressure pills?" and hung up. This group at Smokey point et al is the laziest bunch of physicians and health care employees. For years... before I left, I tried to get an MRI for done due to my arms going completely numb. I was told my insurance wouldn't cover it. Yet when I got to California- my insurance "issues" that Everett stated that I had, gave me zero issues simply because they were not lazy in getting authorizations done! It was in California that they found serious issues in my neck and entire spine...that I needed surgery to fix. It was Everett clinic that seemed to be too lazy to even help with authorizations. Now, I have permanent damage... thanks to these lazy doctors . I'm glad to have moved to the skagit clinic who said they would have no problem getting my blood pressure pills to me via the walk in clinic --while I'm waiting only till JUNE to establish a new physician. Stay away from Smokey Point and Stanwood because if they don't like you as a person- then your left out of what I will call "elite status" and won't get help at all. read more

Now after the account was paid in full and closed they have sent me another bill saying I owe more money because "they made a mistake"! Even though it was paid in full 1 week after the service. The person I spoke with in customer service "Emily" kept arguing for 20 minutes with me- a seriously handicapped woman, and "Emily" refused to take any responsibility but admitted they made the mistake when they guarantied the debt was paid in full the 1st time 4 months ago! I took my 9 month old baby boy into the walk-in this morning because he had a fever of 103.8. The male nurse was nice but he obviously had no idea how to do his job. When he gave my baby infants ibuprofen he gave him 3.75ml and he shoved the whole syringe into my baby's mouth and injected all of it at once while my baby was laying on his back. My poor baby choked so bad and started coughing and sobbing, I told the nurse to leave him alone and that that's not how you give an infant medicine. he didn't even apologize, all he said was 'well I put it at an angle at the back of his mouth, that's how I was told to do it.' First off when your giving a baby thats not even one yet medicine you give it to them a little bit at a time, you don't shove the whole syringe at the back of their throat and make them take it all at once and make them choke on it. I'm giving this review two stars because the doctor, she was kind and understanding and apologized. read more

I first made an appointment with the urgent care earlier that day, I walk in, was ask the Covid questions, then went into check in, earlier that day I was told I was negative for Covid, so I wanted to walk in to see what was going on with me, and they told me because I did have Covid symptoms and I didn't get tested through them, but I got tested through UW medicine, that and have to go to another building 20 minutes away just to go to the walk-in clinic, I had proof of my test and everything, but they still weren't understanding!I would not recommend this clinic to anyone!
