Getting information about the risks of surgery took weeks of calling and they acted suprised and put out that I would want to know before I decided on surgery. They wanted me to just schedule the surgery, pay the initial fee, then on the day of my surgery they would "give me the paperwork" that explained the risks? How are you supposed to make an informed decision on whether you even want surgery? The office is constantly running late and overbooked. Your appointment will never start anywhere near on time. Doctors run back and forth between patients during your appointment, leaving you sitting around alone in an exam room for no reason. This puts him in a class above most "plastic surgeons" in the greater Seattle area who lack plastic surgery training and specialization in this field. I had gynecomastia surgery with Dr. Marosan about two years ago, and it's something I deeply…read moreregret. This was a procedure I'd been saving and planning for over many years. I chose Dr. Marosan because he was supposed to be one of the best. He charged top-tier prices (around $9,000), and I thought paying a premium meant getting exceptional care and results. Instead, I was tricked by flashy marketing and walked away feeling completely deceived, and quite honestly traumatized and in a worst state then when I went in. The surgery was supposed to be straightforward, yet I ended up with a crater deformity on one side and visible scars around my areolas -- which were promised to be "virtually invisible." The consultations were cold and rushed, with little sense of genuine care or connection. The before-and-after photos on his website are also very deceiving. They're taken in different rooms with different lighting, and the after photos are in a cold room, making the nipples hard so results look tighter than they really are. It's misleading marketing, plain and simple. I felt like I was just used the entire process to help promote their business. After surgery, I was still completely out of it from anesthesia. The staff wheeled me straight out to my girlfriend's car and pretty much dumped me into the passenger seat. I came-to halfway home. I had no idea where I was and just started to cry b/c I was so frightened (and probably b/c of what my subconscious just witnessed happening). Two weeks later, I noticed a crease forming in my right areola. When I brought it up, I was told by Dr. Marosan to "rub Aquaphor on it." That was the only advice given. A year later, nothing had improved. Too much tissue had been aggressively removed, leaving an uneven, sunken appearance on one side. The scars were still VERY obvious. All of this from a simple procedure. I am not overweight and did not need a massive amount of work done - just the glands removed behind my areola due to adolescent gyno. To make things worse, I discovered my before-and-after photos on his website with a fabricated story claiming I was thrilled with the results. None of that was true. They used decieving before and after photos invented a completely bs narrative about my experience (maybe they're allowed to do that considering I signed everything w/o reading the small print). But I'm allowed to write an honest review about my side of the story here and I hope people read this! So much of my experience at this clinic was straight up unethical. I tried multiple times to reach out. emails, voicemails, phone calls, and got no response. The one time someone picked up, I was told he was "out of town," and the call ended there. No follow-up, no accountability, no care. All of this for $9,000 for a simple procedure from a 'master, experienced plastic surgeon who has done 1000s of these surgeries'. I really expected a simple outcome. Instead, I got deformity, neglect, and silence. I'm sharing this so others know what I wish I had known: the marketing and promises do not match the experience. This clinic's approach felt careless, misleading, and unethical. For any men considering surgery here for gynecomastia, feel free to reach out by responding to my review.

I had an arm lift by Dr. Egrari several months ago. I will start by saying his before and after…read morecare is amazing with great nurses that walk you through everything. During my consultation Dr. Egrari he told me he would also do liposuction (paying for it) to remove some extra fat from my arms but when I asked his nurses after surgery if liposuction had been done they told me it hadn't. My results were not anywhere near what I expected/desired. I was left with approximately two inches of loose/jiggly skin and my "after" looked like someone's " before photo." I was obviously very disappointed and upset after the money spent and the painful recovery. I discussed this with Dr. Egrari during my follow-up appointment. He basically gas lit me saying the results were proportionate to my body and that my arms looked better than before. When I lifted my arms and showed him the excess skin jiggling like a bat wing, he told me that even twelve year old's have arm jiggle. If Dr. Egrari would have validated my disappointment and acknowledged that the results weren't optimal I would have continued to have trust in him knowing this could potentially happen. Unfortunately, this didn't happen. He did tell me that we could meet in 6 months and if I was still unhappy we could discuss my options to see if I still felt I needed it, but doubling down that he stands by his opinion that my results were optimal. I'm not sure how extra time would solve anything, like in 6 months my arms would miraculously tighten up and the fat would disappear. I flew out of state to get a second opinion from a highly respected surgeon who told me that I had well over two inches of loose skin that still needed to be removed along with some additional fat that required liposuction. He also said as time went on the sagging would get even worse. I'm very upset that I have to pay for another surgery and start all over. While I believe Dr. Egrari does some things right (runs a safe practice with great before and after care) I believe his surgical approach is far too conservative resulting in a disappointing outcome.

I was a longtime patient of Dr. Egrari, having undergone multiple procedures with him over the span…read moreof more than a decade. Our relationship was always friendly and professional, and I had no issues with his care until a complication arose that required a more nuanced and specialized approach. Years ago, Dr. Egrari selected textured anatomical (teardrop-shaped) breast implants for my augmentation. Unfortunately, these implants rotated in the existing pocket, creating noticeable asymmetry. I later learned from other surgeons that placing teardrop implants into an existing pocket is generally not recommended for precisely this reason. I brought this concern to Dr. Egrari's attention, but he didn't offer to correct the issue, and at the time, I wasn't eager to undergo another surgery. Years later, I learned that the implants in my body had been recalled due to their association with BIA-ALCL, a rare lymphoma linked to textured implants. By then, I had also developed two autoimmune conditions and became seriously concerned that the implants might be contributing to systemic inflammation. When I brought these concerns to Dr. Egrari, I was disappointed by his response. He was dismissive of Breast Implant Illness (BII), calling it "hysteria from women on Facebook," despite my sharing published studies from reputable sources like PubMed showing emerging evidence of a link between implants and autoimmune symptoms. I ultimately decided to remove the implants and placed a $1000 deposit when a cancellation became available. However, when I asked Dr. Egrari to confirm that he would perform a full capsulectomy (removal of the scar capsule around the implant), he declined, citing the potential risks due to capsule adhesion to the ribs. While I respect that decision, I chose instead to go to a specialist in explant surgery who was certified in microsurgical techniques and could guarantee full capsule removal--something advised for patients with autoimmune symptoms. I wrote a polite and respectful email explaining my concerns and decision to go with a specialist. Despite only holding the surgery slot for two days, Dr. Egrari retained my full deposit and shockingly banned me from his practice. While Dr. Egrari may be a skilled surgeon for routine procedures, my experience suggests that when problems arise, patients may be completely abandoned and met with petty, small minded, unprofessional conduct. Surgeons will often refer out to specialists but after years of loyalty, I was left stunned by how quickly all goodwill evaporated the moment I needed care that required a more specialized approach. It was a hurtful and revealing end to what had once been a trusting doctor-patient relationship.

I have had more pain and problems since my replacement despite his promise that "in 6 months you won't even know you had a hip replacement." I am reminded at nearly every moment of the day STILL that I had a hip replacement. He claimed my replacement was such a perfect fit that it appeared to be "made for me" exactly. He sent me down the referral gauntlet, I've had countless injections, my liver is now in crisis from the medications I have taken to try to relieve my pain, no Drs will touch his work because "he's the best of the best," it has literally been one of the most traumatic experiences of my life. I'd gone for the hip replacement because I had dysplasia, lots of arthritis, and it was locking up on me trying to carry my infant daughter down the stairs and I was terrified I'd fall with her. I had gotten the surgery hoping I'd be able to be a more active mother, but it had the opposite effect. It has taken such a toll on my mental, emotional and physical health. He only looked at an xray and spent 10 minutes with me at my consult before he decided I was "a perfect candidate for a Total Hip Replacement." I trusted him because of his reputation. With the research I've done since, I believe he should have NEVER considered putting my body through the procedure considering I was breastfeeding (up until I was wheeled to the Operating Room) AND the fact that women's bodies, especially the hip area need time to recover from Childbirth...the ligaments and structure need time to heal. I believe this is malpractice, greed and carelessness on Dr. Boone's part. I caution anyone, especially women from letting him or his robot operate on you. I think I was one of 7 robotic replacements he performed that day. It took me 3 days to leave the hospital and I was in incredible pain.
