He never would consider any culpability on his part, instead trying to assign problems to a " coincidental, spontaneous " bleeding ulcer. After an exam under anesthesia by another specialist, that proved to be a dead end. All of this was occurring while I was was in ICU, recovering from loss of 9 pints of blood. (I am a small female.) I have spent much time trying to forgive him. It hasn't been completely successful. Although I have had a delightful life, the handicap that resulted is still with me every day.

He got the congestion cleared up pretty easily and it didn't seem to come back (guessing some sort of environmental exposure since it has never happened again) and my initial impression was that this guy was pretty friendly and knowledgeable. I was really hoping he could help with the ear/sinus issue that I have been dealing with for about the last 30 years or so. Long story short, two office visits and an $800 charge for a nasal scope exam, I get a very gruff and short response of, "Lets do surgery on your sinuses and hope that it clears up the problems with your ears. Just watch this video about it and we'll get you scheduled." Um, excuse me, but that is the best you can do? Maybe explain what you want to do and how you think it will help? What about my sinuses is actually causing the problem with my ears? What is your plan to fix my ears if this doesn't resolve the issue? Needless to say, I did not stick around to schedule the surgery. I ended up going to another ENT doc who did a few more detailed exams and MRI's and finally got a more detailed explanation of my issue. Dr. Gumprecht was not incorrect that I needed surgery to correct the problem with my sinuses, but my ears were definatly going to need a seperate surgery to fix them. His bedside manner and lack of providing a detailed explanation of what my problem was and how to fix it was soo off putting that I will never go back to see him. If you want to charge me a lot of money and then start cutting and sewing on my nose and ears, you better dang well explain it in minute detail!

It's amazing that Dr Dawson has had the same staff for 20 years. Janine and Joann are friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. They are also happy and it makes the office so much nicer overall. I'm happy that we can still see Dr Dawson when we need him.

Then it took another half a hour to get through the building, parking and two elevators!!!! All to be told, come back another day! With a nonchalant attitude! No empathy, understanding or compassion, just plain BLAH! After all the time to get there and another month to reschedule!

Dr. Knapp is a god-send! I have been miserable the last 5-6 years. I couldn't breathe, was coughing…read moreconstantly, couldn't lose my baby weight because I'd go to the gym and be wheezing and have to stop. Probably worst of all were the constant sinus infections, 5-8 infections each year. I was always on antibiotics--the last infection took me through four different antibiotics and none would help. I was referred to Dr. Knapp's office a couple months ago, and he went through my CT scans, did an exam, and determined the root cause of my problems: small cavities, infected tissue that no medication would help, deviated septum, and just very small airways. He gave me lots of options, and also mentioned surgery. I have heard how awful sinus surgery is, but he told me that while he can't guarantee it to cure 100% of my ailments, that it would make my life significantly better. So, I went in a month ago and had turbinate reduction (he took an inch off from one cavity!), removal of the infected tissue and opening of my passageways, as well as a septoplasty. A month after the surgery now, I feel like my entire life has changed. I haven't coughed once! I used to stay up all night coughing, every night. The recovery has had some pretty disgusting parts, but I can't tell you how amazing it is to be able to breath. I only had dissolvable packing, which I heard is the worst part of the recovery, and no bruising at all. He's a miracle worker, and his staff is fantastic: his nurse was always available to me, (he even called me twice on the phone, which I have never heard of a doctor doing before), and his billing staff worked diligently to get my stubborn insurance to cover the cost. Another reassuring point is that I see an amazing doctor for my asthma and allergy issues, and he and Dr. Knapp told me the same things about treatment, ailments, recovery, without ever even talking to each other. I was very impressed that these doctors were on the same page. :) He's amazing!

I was in a deep, deep depression for the year and a half after the botched job, and Dr. Lamberti was able to provide exactly what he said he would. Unlike other plastic surgeons, he doesn't keep a pretentious office or surgery center, it seemed to be a regular hospital but the quality of his work is much better than the flashy practices. He also doesn't get overly personal with patients and sticks to business in a friendly way which I respect. From my experience I would say you can definitely trust him, it is expensive but for me I got my life and identity back which makes it worth it.

I have visited this Ear, Nose, and Throat Care office five times now for my chronic sinus…read moreinfection, or chronic sinusitis to be precise. The five visits cover initial consultation with Dr. Jennifer Heydt which extended to include a pre-op consultation, a visit for a head CT scan, followed by three post-op visits. At least one more visit is in the horizon, but hopefully, that is the last. This review addresses only this facility and the general staff. Throughout the five appointments, I had zero issues with scheduling, checking-in, being seen in a timely manner, and scheduling follow-up appointments. The front desk staff is courteous. So are the nurses of this office. On the days that I needed more time to recover after a post-op 'suction' appointment before I can leave the clinic room, I was never hurried, I was always told to take my time. The nurses are always very kind and patient. I am perhaps too famous for my extreme case of infection, and everyone was always very nice to me. Thank you for that. The facility has everything it needs. It feels a bit small, but that is understandable given all the doctors perform surgeries as well and are not always using the office. The day of my appointment I got a phone call saying whoever I was supposed to see was out of office that day and they had to reschedule my appointment. The next available appointment they offered me was 2 weeks away, after I had already been waiting a month to see someone. When the day of the appointment finally came, I spent 15 mins driving around trying to find the office and ended up in the wrong office building down the street from where they were located. When I called them to find out where exactly to go, they said that I was too late and they had to reschedule me AGAIN because I was going to be 5 mins late by the time I got there. The receptionists were extremely rude to me on both occasions and made it very clear that they do not care about their patients. Based on this experience I made an appointment somewhere else instead.

As first time parents dealing with feeding issues, we were already stressed and looking for guidance from a medical professional. Instead, we were met with a dismissive doctor with terrible bedside manner. He made us feel guilty for subjecting our daughter to a tongue tie revision and oral therapy that had been recommended by our daughter's ped and LC. After a brief examination of our daughter he said everything looked fine. We asked whether a swallow study might help assess her coordination, but were advised it was unnecessary as long as she was gaining weight and having wet diapers. We left the appointment feeling completely dismissed and unsettled. We ended up scheduling an appointment with Seattle Children's OT for a second opinion and they immediately noticed something was off and referred us for a swallow study. Our daughter was diagnosed with a severe swallow coordination disorder with silent aspiration. She was admitted to the hospital and required an NG tube to feed safely. We're grateful we trusted our instincts and continued advocating for further evaluation for our daughter. We do carry some guilt for not pushing harder at the initial visit, knowing it resulted in weeks of unsafe feeding and added stress for our family. If you're a parent and something feels off, trust that feeling and do not hesitate to seek a second opinion.

I couldn't stop staring at it!! He did an amazing job at refining my nose and proportioning it with my features. Not only is he a master, he also truly listens to his patient's needs. He went for a beautiful natural look rather than overdone and fake. I also had the best recovery I could ask for. He personally called in the evening to see how I'm doing after the surgery. I want to thank him for all of the measures he took to provide fast recovery. I had no nausea after the procedure, pain and swelling was controlled. All of the staff members took exceptional care..anesthesiologist, surgical tech, nurses, reception staff. I highly recommend Dr. Ummat and his staff. You won't regret it!

I was a bit worried about this place due to the terrible Yelp reviews, but I personally had a…read morewonderful experience. They answered the phone without much wait, the scheduler was courtious, and I made an appointment to see Dr. Anh Truong. An appointment wasn't available for a month, which is unfortunate but seems to be the reality for medical specialists in general these days. There office is very nice in the beautiful Overlake Pavilion. There's parking (I think it's free for an hour), a Starbucks in the lobby, a Beecher's mac&cheese bar one building over, and beautiful views of downtown Bellevue and foothills from the high-floor office. I came about 30 minutes early and the doctor didn't see me until like 15 minutes late, but again that's common and not-necessarily their fault. The person before me probably came late or needed extra time. Dr. Truong explained the issue clearly, performed two quick procedures, and soon had me on my way. They have much better (and more) reviews on Google, but that's probably because they send an SMS link after your appointment. The link asks you how your appointment was and then directs you to leave a Google review only if you clicked thumbs-up. So that part is a little sleazy and biases the reviews.
