Located within Harra's casino, this venue features amazing artists and performances, lot of vegas shows as well. I have attended multiple shows despite my upcoming criticisms. The worst and major problem: the sound is just execrable. There has been improvement made over the past 4 years however it's still very bad. The venue's acoustic is obviously not designed for music... Like many other music venue, Harrah's gouges prices on drinks. The seating is not comfortable, and I struggled a couple of times to reach my seats within our row (the seating is more like a convention center setup). I do not recommend this venue unless the artist is "one of a kind" that you really want to see, locally. read more

I've attended various shows at The Events Center over the past 10 years, and I've seen noticeable improvements overall, though the acoustics haven't improved as much as I'd hoped. That said, I absolutely love this venue because of its small and intimate atmosphere. It's located at Harrah's Resort SoCal, which makes it incredibly convenient to catch a concert and stay overnight or even make a weekend of it. The resort is great! The venue itself is small, with approximately 2,200 seats. It's my preferred spot for concerts because you're so close to the artist, there really isn't a bad seat in the house. Tickets are available in person (usually cheaper) or online, though online sales come with the usual frustrating fees. One of the standout perks is the parking. Both complimentary self-parking and valet options are available, and best of all, self-parking is still free, which is rare these days. If you're not staying at the resort, take your time exiting the venue if you parked in the self-park garage, the elevators are quite slow, and it may take a little longer than usual to get out. The layout feels a bit like a large ballroom or conference room, with rows of chairs that are all connected. Chandeliers included! If comfort matters to you, do yourself a favor and pay a little extra for an aisle (preferred) seat or aim for the front row of a section, your legs and your date will thank you. The Events Center doesn't sell food, but it definitely sells drinks, so plan accordingly. Fortunately, there are dining options open all night, so you can grab a bite after the show. If you're drinking in the casino before the show and want to bring your drink with you, they'll provide a clear plastic cup for you to pour it into before entering the actual venue. Overall, it's a casino venue, but it's a great one, and you might be surprised by the big-name artists who perform here. That's one of the reasons I keep returning. read more

We came for a concert to see The Four Tops and The Temptation's. It was easy to find the theater in the casino, our seats were easy to find and the sound system was great. My two issues, one in the beginning they had about 5 bars open. During intermission they only had two bars open for hundreds of people. My second issue was, they only had one bathroom for the men and one for the women. The line was long and wrapped around the event center. Due the long line for the bar we were only able to get a drink before the concert. As well they had no re-entry, If you walked out to use another restroom or the bar, you could not come back in. I would definitely come back to watch another concert and next time I'll make sure to use the restroom before the concert cans buy 2 big drinks before the concert. read more

I've heard casinos called corny-ass venues for music, but I think that's short-sighted. A few years ago, I was sat down in a Harrah's Casino conference room on a straight-back chair, and, when the lights went down, I got to watch and listen to (in order): - New Breed Brass Band - Preservation Hall Band - Galactic (ft. Walter "Wolfman" Washington) - Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue (ft. Cyril Neville) If you don't know New Orleans' music, that probably doesn't mean much to you, but trust me: these bands and their leaders are NOLA royalty, straight up. The music was outstanding, and, except that people mostly stayed seated, I could easily have been at the Saenger Theatre or Tipitina's, and that's saying a lot. read more

One star is NOT for the show, show was very nice but security service woman at the show was horrible and rude!!!! We went to see Bert Kreischer yesterday night, security lady short with blond curly hair came up to me and my sister and asked if we're recording (keep in mind there was nothing that stated we are not allowed to record and we recorded for about 30 seconds) BUT even though we understand we shouldn't have been recording that's not the issue, but the lady came and tells us "are you recording? Next time you are OUT" with an attitude, and started walking next to us for the next half an hour and watching us to see if we are recording, which ruined are entire experience! Please train security there to be kinder and tell us in the future nicely about specific rules without being rude! read more

Purchased tickets for a show through Ticketmaster as it was the only way to purchase tickets. Neither the venue or the service mentioned we were going to be separated by an aisle. Ticket master blamed the venue, but based on other people's pics, this was a common thing yet it's not mentioned anywhere before purchasing. Several others were surprised as well. Seating that wasn't the bleachers lacked elevation so whoever sat down there was easily blocked by the people standing. Terrible experience with customer service as I was only left with them confirming we were separated. Obviously, I'm at the venue -_-. Then was told to resell the tickets for a non reentry show that I was at that at that time started within 2 minutes. read more

It's a ballroom with a stage. The floor seating is all removable padded chairs. They have rising bleachers in the rear. If you are carrying a drink on the way in, you'll have to transfer it into a plastic cup which they have available. They also have metal detectors so men will have to hold their wallets and cell phones over their heads when going through (a bit tricky if you also happen to have a drink in your hand). Women will have their handbags visually searched. Lines can be long to get in but they usually move quickly. Once inside, they have bars and merchandise tables set up in case you want to buy something. There's also doors to an outdoor patio in case you want to smoke. The entire floor seating area is on the same level so lines of sight might be obstructed if you have taller people in front of you. Rows are a bit tight so depending on where you are seating and when you set, you'll have to carefully avoid toes or hide yours! Once the show is over, getting out takes a while. If you are on the far side of the ballroom, stay along that far wall and walk directly to the back. There are some doors there that make it easier to get out. If you are closer to the entry doors, you can go out into the courtyard but you'll have to reenter back into the departing crowd. Moves slowly but you are back into the casino in a reasonable amount of time. You'd think a place as well known as Harrahs would build there own concert hall / stadium but they have not. Overall, it's an okay place to watch an event, especially if you are under 5'8" tall or seated behind someone with a hat. Band sound quality is good but not with a concert hall or amphitheater sound quality. But, works if it's someone you want to see and don't want to drive out further to see them. Hope you get good seats with good lines of sight and...enjoy!!! read more

Came here to watch Angela Johnson, and let's just say--she was the only good thing about this place. First off, parking. The garage is a nightmare, but if you don't mind walking, there's plenty of parking outside. Just do yourself a favor and avoid the garage unless you enjoy testing your patience. Now, let's talk about the venue itself. Before even stepping inside, I had to power through a cloud of cigarette smoke like I was in a '90s casino commercial. Not exactly the pre-show experience I was hoping for. Then there's the seating--who designed this, and have they ever actually sat in these chairs? They're packed together so tightly that I could hear the guy behind me breathing. I came for comedy, not ASMR. And the sound system? Let's just say I've heard better audio coming from my phone's speaker. Angela Johnson? Hilarious. The venue? Not so much. Would I come back? Probably not--unless they remodel the seats, upgrade the sound, and install an industrial-strength air purifier at the entrance. read more

Horrible sound mixing. Sound Board operator had no ear for the human voice. All black stage setup required the two spotlight operators to use filters that dissolved the performers in order to make then better defined for the Hi-Def CCTV monitors. Seating is standard convention center style seats. Not comfortable for a two hour concert, especially for $200 tickets. Show, Ron White Tour, started 15 minutes late and allowed late seating for up to 20 MINUTES after the start. Ticketmater "VIP EXPERIENCE" do not provide any information regarding meeting the headliner, and no one at the venue knew. read more

This is a really strange setup. You wanna have a wedding? Sure! A convention? No problem! A concert? Um, don't you hold weddings & conventions here?! This is not the best set up for a concert. The main portion of the seats are set up like a lecture, and the back are bleachers. They have the 2 large screens to either side of the stage, that really help. Anyone not in the first 10 rows will have a little problem seeing. I came once to see Penn & Teller(paid), and then came to see Billy Idol (friend won them). I definitely wouldn't have paid $75 each for Billy Idol in row W. Luckily we were closer for P&T, not too bad. The bars are behind the bleachers at the back. Luckily my friend used casino points for our drinks, because Pepsis were $5 (small cup, not even a 12oz bottle), and alcohol started at like $11. The bars were super busy, including the ones in the foyer. The line to get in moved fairly fast, since they had multiple entrances. Print your ticket if you bought them online, because cell service can be spotty in the casino depending on which carrier you have. It's all the concrete surrounding it. Wine bar and food court are outside the venue, so wait til after to get food. Just maybe bail out a minute or 2 early, to beat the lines. read more

Despite the outdated sound system The Cult sounded amazing on Oct. 1st. We bought more expensive center aisle seats to have the best view and experience. Unfortunately the venue/staff or lack of staff allowed anyone to leave their seat and fill up the center aisle. Aggressive drunk guys hovering over us, blocking the view of everyone who paid the most for their seats. One extremely tall and broad man stood right in front of a couple in row 5. When the gentleman asked him to move so he could see, the tall guy mad dogged him with a threatening looked and stayed and would not move. We get it, everyone wants to be close and have fun, but then then everyone should be charged one price. We did not get what paid for. Side note, the majority of restaurants in Harrah's were closed. That was disappointing. The Cult saved the night! read more

Went to the KEM concert March 30. Once in the Events Center, there are no signs indicating which sections are which and it is dark in the center. There is also no one to assist with directions and half the seats don't have visible numbers. The rows are not labeled. Though KEM put on a great show, the sound system was HORRIBLE, you could not hear any instruments except the drummer and KEM sounded like he was singing from a tin can. I went to Harrah's to see Incubus live, something I have wanted to do since I was a kid. Incubus is my absolute favorite band and let me just say that seeing them play was a dream realized. With that being said, I don't need to write a review about them because everyone already knows that Incubus is amazing. This review is illustrating my experience at this horrible venue. To begin, the concert started at 9pm. I made sure to be an hour early, but there was a huge accident on the only road leading into the venue that caused us to miss the first 45 minutes of the concert upon arriving at the venue. Mind you--the concert started right at 9pm and was only going until 11:30pm...with no opening acts. I would be able to get over missing 45 minutes due to the fact that the accident was uncontrollable, but once we arrived, the parking was an absolute disaster and completely unorganized by the venue. They kept shoveling the madness of cars to a lot over a mile away with no shuttle service, expecting everyone to walk all that way with the concert already have started. When I asked for help, the venue personnel were beyond rude, unhelpful and for lack of a better description--void of any working mental capacity. After driving around for what seemed like hours, in tears of frustration because it was looking like I was going to miss the concert entirely; luckily, just LUCKILY, I found a spot near the entrance of the casino. I literally ran to the entrance so I wouldn't miss any more of the concert. By the time I was in and seated it was 10:30pm and only got to see one hour of the show. There was a one song encore and as soon as the last note ended the lights were on and the venue personnel was kicking everyone out. Hands down--best band I've ever seen live and worst concert/venue experience I've ever had. I wouldn't go back to this venue even if the Pope was performing and I recommend to whoever is reading this review: do not waste your money at an event or concert at Harrah's Rincon. You will leave cheated and treated poorly. read more

All it really was was a carpeted room with a stage and movable cheapo chairs. The place was *packed*, though. It's been a long time since I've seen so many Filipinos in one room. Still, the room had pretty decent acoustics, and they've got wall-to-wall big screen flat panels to give you a better view of the stage if you ended up with a crappy seat way in the back like I did. It was more enjoyable than when I watched her at the Universal Amphitheater, mostly because the Pavilion is a *much* smaller, more intimate venue. read more

My purse was stolen from inside another zipped up bag that was secured in their baggage claim. It was returned to me the next day missing cash with someone elses phone that was also stolen from the baggage claim. Customer service is the worst I have ever encountered, without even an apology or offer of compensation. Drinks were expensive, standard I know. But there were 3 bathroom stalls. We went to brunch here and were disappointed with the service and the food. A few of the servers have very poor attitudes and act like they do not want to work there. The food is ok...I prefer Pala's buffet...I spoke to a supervisor and she was not at all helpful. We went there for a Bob Dylan Concert. While the Band was probably good, the location sound was horrendous. It was painful for the first 2 songs where they did a soundcheck on the audience. Do not spend your money on this venue. The sound was at about the same quality level as a high school gym on a bad budget. The squelch and feedback was constant for one hour. Harrah's Hotel makes it extremely difficult to file a complaint!! For our anniversary, we asked for a room with a view. We got a view alright... of the massive construction going on...without warning too! And, we thank you for our wake up call of 5 AM due to zapping, hammering and a bright construction light. To top it all off, I was able to come away with some amazing photos of the mold growing in the bathroom. It is also on the bedroom wall directly behind the shower. I awoke with breathing issues due to asthma and suffered for a few days thereafter, having to use steroid inhalers and a nebulizer treatment. I received a comp of $25 for this inconvenience. Talk about a slap in the face. I have left several messages, spoken to supervisors and security without any resolution and only a statement from security that it will take 7 days to get a response. This is outrageous. We are guests that have spent $ in the casino, at the restaurants, bars and even shows. This was our first stay at the hotel and may just be our last. Our goal was to resolve this issue with hotel staff and hoped guest satisfaction was on top of your list. The staff here is about as bad as it gets. The hotel is unkept. They're under partial bankruptcy. Last place you would want to goto for a concert. 1 road in ... 1 road out.... If your gps says 1 hour... Add 2 hours for event traffic or stay in crappy hotel and come early. Upon arrival at the events center, my family and I were admitted in and decided to get drinks, so we had to leave and re enter. Upon re entry, we were told we would not be able to enter without an ID, although there were absolutely no signs or messages (while purchasing the tickets) warning buyers to bring an ID. I attempted to show the woman a picture of my ID on my phone and she said this would not suffice. I also attended with my parents and they asked the woman to vouch for me and my age; she did not agree. After waiting for almost an hour for a manager amongst a large group of others who also did not bring their ID's, a separate woman approached the group and said "If you are accompanied by parents, you may enter." After entering the venue, we noticed SEVERAL young children enjoying the music who have entered with a lack of ID. Now that we missed half the show waiting on a senseless response, we are awaiting prompt refunds. read more
