Linda was patient, kind, and informative and we've already been back twice (highly recommend the easter egg hunt/other special events too!) one small note: if you're visiting in winter/summer make sure you wear the appropriate shoes/drive appropriately it can get a little muddy but that's totally the charm of this place. the farm itself is very clean and the animals feel so at home and comfortable. it's certainly not a place for appearances. linda loves the animals and the animals are well cared for! we'll be back!! my daughter asks non stop to see the farm thank you linda!

Rescheduling lessons is a pain, though. For my son's instrument there is one and only one teacher who teaches 3 days of the week, and their flexibility when they've had no available make-up slots has varied. It was nightmarish a year ago, and better lately. My kids have been in lots of other classes/programs and rescheduling at Bach to Rock is just different. Also, when my son has been a little sick, well enough to play but didn't want to expose his teacher, they still charged us for the lesson... which is in line with their policies, but the other private teachers we've worked with have been kinder about illness especially when the key concern is protecting them.

They encourage students to be a part of the band when ready. They have students perform at different events like pumpkin patches during the Fall, Crossroads Mall, etc. Enrollment was seamless. Student progress and homework can be tracked online. They have 30 min or 1 hr lessons and fee varies depending on the duration. Overall, they make learning to play instruments very fun. They offer a free trial lesson. Highly recommend giving them a try!

My 1st grader has been here for a few break camps and has loved it and asked to go back again. The staff is very nice and the kids seem to learn a lot yet have fun at the same time. I only wish the space was a little bigger and that for the camps esp the longer ones in the summer that they would take the kids out for some outdoor time (i.e. for lunch or a quick break) since they are inside for the whole time in a classroom-like setting. They also host birthday parties so that will be the next thing for us to explore soon...another perk is if your company offers Bright Horizons childcare credit, you can use it here for camp days!

I could give zero star. Kids were chasing around and attacking each other. But some coach only…read moretimed out my kid. I was told different versions of the story by different coaches/staffs. I feel so sad that when my kid was attacked by two kids, the coach just warned them. I'm not saying it ok for my kid to attack back. But if the coach could investigate a little bit more, we would appreciate it. Will never go there for lessons or camps in the future.

Classes follow the Chess4Life curriculum developed by National Master Elliott Neff, working from beginner to advanced topics through the six levels of Pawn, Knight, Bishop, Rook, Queen, and finally King level. Our classes consist of the following elements: - Lesson or lecture on chess strategy and tactics - Chess exercises, including puzzles - Practice time for chess play - Reviewing material learned At Chess4Life we also offer a number of other programs, including camps, weekly tournaments, and an after school immersion program all designed to build character and thinking skills.
