Came here after our first option was a no go with my girl. Service is actually top notch. No one here is rude or unaccommodating. Water refills, questions asking whether everything is ok and food coming out quickly. (Approx 20 people in the place this morning) Ordered Clean and green - drink 10 aud Detox - drink 10 aud Both drinks were refreshing and nice. About 400ml each but a little pricier than anticipated. We both enjoyed them though. Brekkie burger 14 aud Brekkie burger was amazing. Id get this everytime. Great balance in flavours, just lacking portion. I think ill eat lunch in 2 hrs! Sautéed mush with hummus and poached eggs 14.50 aud Food looked great although it was quite rich and heavy. Still great tasting food

As far as cafes in Parramatta go, this is pretty much as good as it gets. Really nice decor and ambience as you can see from the photos. I enjoyed their brunch menu with a glass of white wine and was well pleased with everything including a most helpful waitress helping me with the menu items and the choice of wine to match my meal. Well done Emporium.

We first came here when this restaurant was so fresh from opening the dust was still present on the furniture. The interior reminded me of a rustic French-Italian inspired sett. At first, they didn't have a complete menu available, only a "tasting menu" which consisted of cheese & cured meats platters. We tried this and thought it was well enough but we figured we'd return when the restaurant had enough time to develop a full menu. Next time we came back, they finally concocted a dinner menu together. They weren't busy yet but we still booked a reservation and were seated indoors from the cold. Our waiter was very attentive and very friendly, almost like those waiters you'd experience in France. He seemed to recognise my partner even. He spoke of many things I couldn't pay attention to about the menu. I know some people like to be reassured whether their food choice is going to be good but really what waiter would say otherwise? So Mr talkative aside, we made our dinner selections. I gave this restaurant 4 stars because the pork belly I ordered that day was bloody fantastic. I don't know if it's still on their revolving menu but order it if you get the chance. The waiter recommended their potato gnocchi so we went with that too. I will be honest, as always and say this restaurant is not cheap. I don't know if its the location or the effort involved when they built the place but I don't think it needs to charge the prices they do. It would be a great contender if they lowered the cost a little bit. To match the quality of food. Perhaps they're trying to define themselves as fine dining in Parramatta, who knows. Still noone wants another Crinitis style dining experience. They have a side bakery opening near the carpark serving baked goods, pastries and coffee for on-the-go. A few French treats as well. We've dropped by to buy some more often than going inside to eat lunch. The last time we came here was for breakfast, the aforementioned restaurant weren't serving it anymore (at the time) so we wandered along to here out of curiosity if they would be doing a brunch of some sort. It was very busy at this point but they were able to seat us. Brunch was intriguing and tasteful. We ordered simply for ricotta pancakes and breakfast burger which were satisfying. I would most likely return here for breakfast/brunch again than dinner.

Great iced coffee! Breakfast was very satisfying in appearance and in taste. Service was a bit slow

Had a wonderful evening with a glass of Australian vino. Our table was sat next to the owners and they were very welcoming and provided us samples of their meals! Everything tasted wonderful.. I recommend the braised short rib as it was so tender and fell off the fork! Highly recommended as this is a cute trendy spot for dinner and drinks! Can't go wrong with this place.

The Larder is a beautifully arranged store full of gorgeously packaged products that will have you wondering whether you're buying something just for its pretty jar or for the actual product itself. It does make for handy gift shopping though (whose mum doesn't love a block of French chocolate or Blue Mountains handcrafted coffee?). They stock a really great range of Australian and international cheeses, Hunter Valley olive oil by the litre, and top brands like Christine Manfield, Byron Bay Chilli Co and Toby's Estate. If you're on your way to a dinner party or BBQ and need to take along a token offering, grab a loaf of Brasserie sourdough or a cheese platter. The specialty grocer store opened after the owners returned from France and realised how difficult it is to find all the quality local and imported products you wanr in the one place. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable and clearly love what they're doing. There's plenty of parking available, just look for the green and white striped storefront.

You can also buy quality olive oil in bulk - in their or your own containers - that is much closer to cheap bottled brands. Nice!

Well, I thought I was going to have a glass but I ended up getting a tasting flight because it was so tempting. They offer wine by the glass, bottle, flight or you can do a tasting at the bar. It was a brilliant experience. The staff were really nice - pleasant, knowledgeable on product offerings and really relaxed. I got the 'come to the dark side' flight, which was all reds. I asked her to pour me a little less because I was driving and it comes out around 2 glasses in total. I asked her to pour me half of each and pour a full one of 'the best one.' After a long deliberation (she told me) she poured the shiraz as the full glass. I had always thought I didn't like shiraz. Well I was wrong - now I do! I will always remember that this was the place that taught me. My friend ordered a different flight that had whites and reds, and also a cheese pairing for the flight - they match each cheese to a wine. I tried all of hers and all her cheeses. Really liked the majority even though bubbles and certain types of white aren't as much my jam. Really great place and good value for money. A nice, classy experience without being intimidating or pretentious. I'd love to come back here again - and next time I'd make sure I wasn't driving. IT'S ON!!
