Honestly the food was 6/5 stars but at first we had a waiter who serve us and she she couldn't be anymore rude, she would ask us about our order then rolled her eyes. When we asked to dine in she just walked off without saying anything then comes back and points to the back and said someone will come back and take your order. We then sat down and not long after another waiter approached us and took our order and was very polite. Been here a good few times now with work colleagues, friends and family. Done take away, dinner and lunch and so have had my share of experiences here. I've been to the Petersham one as well a good few times too and will say that I prefer that one BUT this holds it own when you can't be bothered to get to the inner city and craving their chicken and burgers with that delicious mayo and chili sauce.. Service has always been great here an although accommodating to children in a high chair, it can be a tight squeeze when the place is busy, which is quite often. The chicken is delicious and comes with complimentary bread and olives. The salads are tasty accompaniments to the chicken as are the chips.. Ahh the hand sliced chips.... YOU MUST HAVE THEM!! Warning - you'll want to have it every. Single. Time. Just as good as Petersham. Freshly cooked tasty morsels you want, want, want. The burger is probably the one thing I prefer in Petersham but I can make do, if I have to, sigh. You won't be disappointed!

We get a table, then see an angry bad-tempered waiter jumping out of the kitchen and approaching us while pointing at his watch and at the door, and saying they were closed. We told him the sign at the door said something different. He then said the kitchen closed at 8.30pm (as if we should know). We said we were going to leave, but he grumpily asked us to stay although although clearly unhappy with our presence. Other patrons stared.
