Nando's is new to Asian tourists so that I'm still willing to try a new dish in Nando's when I see one. This time, I tried Paella. Grilled chicken breast with some vegetables such as tomatoes, red onion and green pepper over spicy rice. I chose spicy when he asked me the heat level but I knew its hot level is a piece of cake to me. I took the extra hot sauce. I added some into my dish and found that it's spicier than I imagined. So I carefully read the label. It wasn't extra hot sauce. It was extra extra hot sauce. No wonder that it's spicier than I though. In fact, I didn't know they have extra extra hot spicy sauce. But now I know. The paella is ok, not that special. Pita is better, last time I tried.
Furthermore, sometimes, the reason why I prefer Nando's is that they label calories on the menu directly, no need for me to spend time to search on the Internet. My friend told me he gained a lot of weight when he traveled to Australia and he believed that it applied to everyone. That's true! Therefore, I have to strictly control my intake of calories. Then Nando's becomes a convenient choice for me. But sometimes, I dare not order anything because I see the calories. I really want to try the grilled chicken. But I come to Australia on my own. I can't share a dish with my friends. If I order 1/4 chicken and add a side, which means the whole dish will have more than 2500 calories, then I will have too many calories. That's why I haven't tried the most famous dish in Nando's until now. read more
