Since moving to this area three months ago, I've been searching for someone whose work reflects the level of precision, care, and consideration that keeps me coming back. I'm happy to say that Antonia has been exactly that person. Her work was meticulous, thoughtful, and performed with genuine attention to detail. Just as importantly, she created a comfortable and welcoming experience. Our conversation felt natural and effortless--engaging without being intense, warm without feeling forced, and gentle without being overwhelming. It's rare to find someone who combines exceptional skill with such an easy and calming presence. Antonia is the reason I will continue returning to this location, and she has absolutely become my go-to wax specialist. I've been coming to this location for years and, until recently, had a wax specialist I really…read moreliked and trusted. Since the management change, however, I've gone through five different specialists in the past year. I don't believe the specialists themselves are necessarily doing a poor job, but that level of employee turnover certainly raises questions about the management and work environment. What happened today was especially disappointing. The manager herself booked my appointment last month. When I arrived today, I was told that the specialist I had been scheduled with was no longer there and that I had been assigned to someone I had never met--without anyone calling, emailing, or otherwise letting me know in advance. I find that extremely unprofessional. If a specialist is no longer working at the location, customers who have appointments with that person should be notified. Instead, I was simply expected to show up and accept a completely different appointment and specialist. I honestly don't understand why it was apparently so difficult to have that conversation with a customer. To be fair, the specialist who helped me today was great. I have no complaints about her work at all. My concern is with the management and the way this situation was handled. After years of being a customer, I'm disappointed that I no longer have confidence in the consistency or stability of this location. I'll likely finish out my current wax pass, but I don't think I'll be purchasing another one here. I would rather take my business somewhere with more consistent staffing and, more importantly, management that communicates with and respects its customers.
