I recently moved to the area and needed to find a new spot for my monthly refresh, so I'm so happy I came across Samira through Yelp! I went in for a Brazilian and underarm wax, and I'm happy to say both were quick and almost painless. Samira is the absolute best esthetician I have worked with! I had horrible waxing experiences in the past and had so much anxiety about ever attending a waxing appointment again, but I really wanted to be waxed for my wedding last year. I started working with Samira a few months before the wedding (highly recommend doing this before a big event so that your hair/skin can get adjusted!) and was blown away by how different my experience was with her! Even though I was incredibly nervous, she made me feel so comfortable instantly. She is quick and efficient, while also being meticulous and paying such great attention to detail. She is also super knowledgable and has helped me so much with my in-grown hairs, etc. Besides her excellent work, Samira has the BEST personality! She is hilarious and so fun to chat with, which makes the appointments fly by and helps distract from the pain lol (which does lessen significantly after your first few appointments!) - because of her, I have grown to love the waxing experience and have stayed with her even after the wedding was long over! I went to Samira for the first time yesterday, to which I have nothing but great things to say about my experience with her. First, my appt was originally for this morning at 10 am, but she text to let me know she had an opening and could get me in a day early. I think it's easy to see the value in how convenient this is. Next, the actual wax.... Samira's waxing is the least painful I've ever had. It was quick, and she fixed all of my ingrown hair issues on the spot, which of course came from a really piss poor experience with another waxer. Every hair is gone, and this morning my skin is completely smooth, no evidence that an ingrown hair was ever there. Samira also let me know to text or call her immediately if I had any issues with allergies to any products she used. I have sensitive skin and had zero issues. AND...... the price is amazing. I rarely get facials but I had just gotten back from vacation and my face was breaking out along with what looked like to me "bad sun damage". Samira took great care of me. The facial was so relaxing and she was extremely informative. She gave me great tips to use at home, and when I looked at my face after the facial. I couldn't believe how vibrant my skin looked! I just got a brazilian from Samira and it was great! I've been to a couple of other places and tried to find one that I liked. I'm happy to say that I've found it. Samira made me feel comfortable. There was music playing which is nice because at other places when there isn't music, it's a little awkward when your esthetician is working on you and there's silence. When I first got there, I was a little bit skeptical because it was a business building, but the room where she does the waxing is very relaxing and homey. Unlike the other places I went to, Samira made sure to pluck out all the remaining little hairs.(finally someone who does it right!)
