Picked up food for a picnic lunch from here. Sandwich and soup were both good and the fried fish was above average (portion is what some might call "Small" but I call "responsible"). Had the Reuben and also a loaf of their fresh baked bread. The Reuben was homemade pastrami which was a good sandwich, but the pastrami has a rub on it that was really spicy. It changed the expected flavor of the sandwich, which is fine, but should be emphasized on the menu as "Spicy Reuben" or something as a heads up. I couldn't really taste any cheese or dressing for the spice. Just not what I was craving. But it was well crafted, and ingredients were top notch. Got the garlic bread, as in a loaf of bread with garlic clove flavoring. It was very good. My toddler liked it too, which was an accomplishment on their part, getting a picky kid to eat garlic. Fantastic lobster roll! We ate ours so quickly we didn't snap a picture, but this lobster roll is one to remember. We would put this lobster roll up against any in Maine, in fact. We ordered a second before leaving! The bread was perfect and the buttery lobster was delicious. Drew adds a small, cute salad on the side as a perfect accompaniment. When I tell you, it changed my life, I am not kidding. Drew was so kind and made sure to build a rapport with us. The food was fantastic. Today I took a look at the menu and decided to give it a try. So glad I did! This is a little gem! The menu is creative and the food is delicious.
