Recently I had concerns about my plumbing system coming into the house and I called Jennings for an…read moreinspection before I left on vacation. Guy comes out, looks at the setup while standing 3 feet away and says it is good. He did not check the main water line for cracks or looseness, he did not manually check the clamps for tightness, and he really didn't do anything. $100 for that call. Fast forward a week (and I'm now on vacation) and I'm informed my garage has water seeping from under the garage door. Yep, a loose fitting came apart and water was running freely for a couple of days. My daughter came over and shut the pump off. Called Jennings and they sent a guy over to reconnect what they failed to secure (in my opinion). What a mess I found upon my return. They are unwilling to help with repairs after sharing my concerns and shock. So to you my friends, think on these set of facts before calling.

We are 74, retired, and have limited funds. We couldn't afford it, so that repairman left, and we were left in the cold. It was 14 degrees outside and we were panicking. We called Gene's. Soon after, their repairman Mathew showed up at our door. He took the furnace apart and checked many things the other "repairman" never looked at. He emptied out the Condensation Trap which had filled with water, then put it back together. It worked perfectly. No parts were needed. He charged us $155 for his service. Mathew was an angel. He is a good and honest repairman. He made the comment that he takes a lot of satisfaction in helping people do things that they can't do for themselves. The other company was a cheating company who wanted to sell us parts we didn't need. Gene's is an HONEST company. God bless them. We simply can't say enough about how much we appreciate what they did to help us.

They installed one that…read morewas not compatible with my furnace, so it stuttered and hiccuped all summer long and every time i called for them to come out to fix it, they did temporary fixes, extra oil, etc. the next summer as soon as I started to a/c unit again, it immediately started to hiccup and stutter again. Then they blamed it on a possible recall and told me that i am now out of the warranty period and i was out of luck. The office staff were absolutely combative and refused to address the problem when the manufacturer said that my unit was not part of any recall, it was an installation issue. When my furnace died, the company I hired to fix it said that the a/c unit wasn't compatible with my furnace and it fried the motherboard. They never accepted any responsibility and it cost me a fortune to fix what they screwed up. Reported them to BBB DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. A name change doesn't mean a darn thing to the people you screwed over.
