This is a very small Target store located just outside of the UC Irvine campus…read more During my visit, it was crowded with college students as the campus is across the street, and there are student apartments, making this a very convenient location for many. Though it was much smaller than a regular Target, one can still find most items they want and need. Parking is available in the large, private parking lot.

Back to school time! This small Target is convenient for UC Irvine students. Right across campus…read morein the University Town Center, nestled in this location is a mini CVS Pharmacy and a limited selection of what's sold at the larger Target stores. If you want to buy clothes, keep in mind only one dressing room exists. When I went in to try on a F1 graphic t-shirt, I noticed sand on the dressing room seat. Huh. I wasn't finding what I needed as it was my first time here and I wasn't familiar with the layout. One of the employees told me where the travel sizes were. Another wasn't exactly sure where dishwashing gloves were but told me the few rows in which they would be. After a short, fruitless search, I came across the machine which enables customers to search the store and gives details on the location, pricing, and availability of what they want. I realized later that I could have found the information to all my questions and more by downloading and using the app. Could have, should have, would have? I don't know. The employees I interacted with were courteous. I was greeted and helped in a polite way.

This is long overdue. A little over a month ago, my wife and I were headed to Southern California…read morefor a memorial. We were staying in town and when I changed to go to dinner I realized I did not pack my pants for the memorial which was the following day. I called Garys roughly 30 minutes prior to their closing for the night and a nice associate answered, I wish I could remember his name because he was great! I explained my dilemma and I said I wear a 34 in a particular brand. He replied with, "no problem, I'll set aside two pairs of pants with your name. Be here at 10:00am and we can probably have our tailor hem them for you in no time!" You've got to be kidding was my thought! We headed to Gary's at 10:00am, the pants were laid out with my name and Todd was there ready to help. Todd was extremely helpful, got me fitted right away and helped with some other items that I didn't need but could live without! 20or so minutes later I had pants!!! I really don't know many places that can offer that sort of drop of the hat service; but Gary's did and I am very appreciative. Todd and Co. thank you for the great service! You have a beautiful store with an incredible selection of fine clothes.

I told him what I was looking for, and he quickly pulled together several great options -- all better than I expected. He also introduced me to a few brands I hadn't tried before, including a pair of pants I liked so much I'm literally going back today to grab them in more colors. If you're looking for someone who knows his stuff, makes shopping effortless, and gets you looking sharp without the hassle, go see Michael. You'll walk out wondering why you ever shopped without him.

I always stop by this place but I never seem to walk out with anything. I come expecting good…read moremerchandise the next time around but it doesn't always happen. This was the closest place here in OC to find BBC stuff but it doesn't look like they have much of it anymore. I only look at the shirts and hats because the jackets and pants/shorts always seem way over priced. I know some of these are limited edition but c'mon.. if you want $250 for a jacket you're gonna have to add more than a patch or small graphic to a regular looking jacket/hoodie to get my business. Also, this place could use some better customer service. I don't know how many times I've stopped by and the guy at the desk just sits there clicking away on the computer.

Commissary is probably the best streetwear boutique in the OC. "We don't care about your 'brand'. So please, don't ask if we want to sell it." I forgot the other one, it went on the lines of "no shirt, no shirts, no bullshit??" or "we don't take any of your bullshit"...I forgot, blunt..but real and funny. The store itself is real sleek. One of the nicer shops I've been to. Workers are chill, they have displays out, most of their supply is in the back, just ask for various sizes.
