Nothing but good things to say! Jonathan makes all the administrative stuff easy and Tracy was a wonderful instructor. Came in very anxious about driving as a 28 year old w/o a license and after a few lessons was able to pass the driving test no problem read more

Anita is a fantastic driving instructor and made the experience stress free and positive. My son passed the behind the wheel test on the first attempt. Scheduling is a breeze, it's a great price, and we loved that the sessions are 90 minutes vs. 2 hours at other driving schools. read more

Jonathan made this process as transparent and easy as possible. My son hit a mental wall with driving halfway through the lessons and Jonathan was super supportive and flexible with our lesson schedule and then made sure we got all four lessons done before his permit expired. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Driving Professors. My daughter completed the four, 1.5 hour lessons with them as she was getting ready to take her driving test and she passed her test today with flying colors. They are very genuine, honest, and as "real life" as possible with their students while giving them the confidence to go through the driving tests. My daughter is a very good driver, not just because we spent 50+ hours with her driving, but also because of the Driving Professors. Thank you so much. Jonathan, and Armenia Diaz and everybody else that we dealt with have just been wonderful. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! read more

I needed a professional driving Assessment for medical reasons and I was referred to The Driving Professors. They made an appointment available to me quickly. They provided a highly Trained driving instructor who was also a very friendly person. It was an excellent experience. I learned some things that refreshed my driving abilities. Professional, courteous and responsive. Gave good instruction which enabled our teenager to pass on the first attempt with flying colors

I called them a couple of times and nobody answered. I finally left a voice message and it's been days nobody called back. Just out of curiosity I drove by one weekday mid morning and the place was closed. What kind of an outfit is this? I'm glad that there are plenty of better choices out there. read more

I can't say enough good things about this place. Both of my kids recently "graduated" from their services and received excellent scores on their DMV drive test. The instructors are very skilled and know how to provide constructive feedback without diminishing a young driver's confidence. The pay-as-you-go vs all up front was much appreciated. The final course replicating the drive test was excellent preparation for the big day. read more

So incredibly thankful to the Driving Professors. Being newer to Folsom, we had no idea what driving school we should pick for our son. After a few recommendations on Facebook I reached out to The Driving Professors and another school. I really liked all the information we were given and the cost wasn't too bad, so we picked The Driving Professors. First, Jon in the office is amazing. He has been beyond helpful during this past year. We had tons of questions (including a rescheduled dmv test and an expiring permit due to COVID). It was definitely a crazy time, but he handled everything so well and made sure our son had all the classes he needed. We started with Glenn as the instructor. He was great. Very honest. We had to shift over to Randy, who was equally as amazing. He really gave our son such confidence behind the wheel. Highly recommend. read more

After putting it off for so long, I finally studied and practiced for the written and driving tests, and I now have my license! And I have The Driving Professors--specifically, Professor Randy--to thank for instructing me and helping me get to where I am. I first heard of The Driving Professors from my dad, and after looking through their website and their Facebook (where they have so many positive reviews), I decided to trust them with teaching me to drive well and to drive safely. Each of the professors sound very capable, knowledgeable, and experienced in what they do, but I went with Professor Randy as my instructor. Reading all the positive reviews he received (on Facebook) and knowing that many of his students passed their driving tests (with high scores, too!), I was confident that I could do well on the test. After having lessons with him, though, I know that I will not only be able to drive with a license, but that I have the knowledge to drive safely, for myself and for others. Starting this whole license journey, I felt like it would be a long time before I could actually drive. But lo and behold, I passed my driving test (with 100%!), and I am officially a licensed driver! I highly recommend The Driving Professors. read more

I was seeking a woman instructor, and Tracy is one of the few or possibly the only one around... She came straight from the heart, very compassionate with my anxiety, very funny to ease off my nervousness, and I was able to overcome one fear at a time, she is confident, wise, strong, experienced, and made it seem effortless. I love this school, they are mom n pop business too! Thank you all so much!! read more

Love The Driving Professors! Can't say enough great things about them! Excellent staff! This driving school genuinely care about their students! My older two children just finished going through this school. We had the privilege of having Tracy, Linda and Randy as instructors and all were wonderful! All were very knowledgeable and have a great way of putting the students AND parents at ease! Everyone was ever so ready, kind and eager to answer all my questions regarding driving rules/laws. They even worked with my son and his different learning style! Scheduling was easy and very flexible. Both my kids passed their driving tests on their first try! Yay!!!! I'll be using The Driving Professors again with our third child next year! read more

I am responsible for 400 drivers that deliver gasoline in tanker trucks for a major oil company. We are very sophisticated in driver training techniques. I spent 5 hours on our first lesson with Randy from the Driving Professors with my 15 year old son. More on subsequent lessons. In addition to his technical skills being spot on, Randy's rapport with his students is amazing. That is critical to infuse his impressive on novice drivers. Randy is simply amazing. Patient, thorough and effective. There is nothing more important (and dangerous) that driving, and Randy drives home the critical skills that will influence driver for a lifetime of safe driving habits. I say that is the most critical message you can provide your young driver. read more

The Driving Professors - Driving Schools Near Me - Folsom, California

I just called to get on the schedule. The man that answered the phone answered with a "hello" not The Driving Professors, can I help you. Then I was told that he answered my call as a courtesy that he doesn't answer unidentified or blocked numbers and to call from an unblocked number in the future. First of all the is NOT the way to get anyone's business. It shouldn't matter where you call from and if you don't answer calls from unidentified numbers then you shouldn't have answered the phone. I told him that I was calling from work and that I had no control over what showed up on his phone. Then he proceeded to tell me they are 5 weeks out...no thank you. Please work on your customer services skills, I hope you classes are better. read more

My son received 100% on his DMV driving tests thanks to Randy! His concern for preparing our kids to be safe drivers shines through! He patiently takes as long as your child needs, without charging more for each lesson. I highly recommend The Driving Professors. We have referred several friends and they were very all happy customers too! Thank You Randy! read more

4 years ago our oldest went through The Driving Professors with Randy and the experience couldn't have been any smoother. We used them again for our other son and again it went well. This time we had Walt and Linda as his driving instructor and they were both awesome. We had to reschedule one of his last lessons and they worked with our schedule to get it done just in time for his driving test. Jonathan always got back to me and answered all my questions. I never had to deal with the DMV. They took care of scheduling the test and taking our son in their car. We will be back when it is time for our daughter in 5 years. read more

Could not be more pleased with Randy and The Driving Professors. After using a different company for my 2 older children, I went researching online to find a better instructor. Boy, did we hit the jackpot with Randy. He is willing to spend the time and really teach your kids all that they need to know to be safe drivers. The lesson went long, because "he wasn't done teaching yet" and did not charge us more. He wasn't going to stop until my son had learned what he needed to learn in that lesson. So impressed with all the time spent covering blind spots, defensive driving and more. We've already scheduled our next lessons and are confident he'll be ready to pass his DMV test with flying colors. read more

After searching the internet for all the driving schools nearby and comparing costs and what they offer, I've come to the conclusion that The Driving Professors is a hidden treasure! Their basic program includes what some other programs charge extra for (downtown, freeway driving, and defensive driving lesson). They are flexible and don't require a contract; you can pay for each lesson as you go, so there was no risk. We chose Randy and have been extremely satisfied so far! Two things very important in my decision were 1) that defensive driving is an integral part of every lesson (not just one lesson that you pay extra for like other schools), and 2) they strongly encourage a parent to go on the driving lesson for consistency and to help reinforce what is being taught. Randy feels like family; he cares about my two boys becoming safe drivers, not just about them passing the DMV tests. They both enjoy the lessons and can't wait for their next ones! read more

They dont answer your call, when you leave a message they dont call you back. Ive left emails and they still dont reply back. Ive been trying to get a spot so i can start driving but its like they dont care. read more

Tracy is the most kindhearted, gentle, person in the universe! I wasn't supposed to get my license before my permit expired, but Tracy made the impossible happen. On day one I was so nervous, but I trusted her in that she wouldn't let me screw up. With that, she guided me through every turn and every intersection. Trusting her was a huge part of my success as you cannot learn to drive on the road without driving on the road. Today I passed my driving test, 30 days after touching a wheel for the first time missing only 2 points! If you are an anxious person, Tracy is amazing. She doesn't get mad at you for screwing up--unless you really screw up haha-- but overall is so encouraging. Every second I spent in the car was so much fun. I am grateful she let me embark on roads no other instructor would've let me try conquering on my first lesson. So my heart is exploding in gratitude for her, her humour, her stories, and her everything :) read more

This is a terrible school. They expect you to know everything before you start driving with them and when you make a mistake they blow up on you. They talk a lot of trash about their students especially to other students. They don't teach you or guide you through the rules of the road. All they do is sit their and grade you on your failures. Don't take this school because all you are going to get out of it is a shaken self esteem. read more
