Ii paid in full for three driving lessons, now I can't get a call or text back. My daughter has had zero appointments. It has been a month since I have heard anything from them. At this point, I'm Just trying to get my money back. I wouldn't trust them to be responsible with my child. We received a very quick response when initially contacting Tri-Valley Driving School. Not only was the price fair, but they even came out to our home to pick our daughter up for each lesson. Each appointment was scheduled quickly and within a time-frame that worked well for us. They even were understanding and accommodating when we needed to reschedule an appointment. DO NOT BOOK THIS SCHOOL - I wish I could post less than one star. I am beyond frusterated with the customer services. I used this service with my older daughter 2 years ago and had zero issues, this time around is VERY different. The issue began with my daughters second lesson when the instuctor texted to ask if the lesson could be moved a half hour earlier, we confirmed that would be fine. When the instructor arrived we walked out to the car to find another student in the back seat of the car, I immediately inquired as to why there was someone in the car and the instructor responded that it was a "piggy backed lesson" and that the other student lived only 10 minutes away. She then told my daughter to get in the front seat and my daughter drove off! My 15 year old was driving someone else's child, my mom gut kicked in quickly and I texted the company and asked for a call back. A gentleman who said he was the owner called and explained before Covid this type of lesson was normal however they no longer did lessons like this since Covid. I explained how upset I was and how uncomfortable I was with this practice. I questioned who would be liable if for some reason there was an accident, etc. He assured me via text that her next lesson he would try to get a different instructor. Fast forward to last night - her last lesson that was scheduled at 5:30pm, no one arrived! no response to my text messages - I sent a screenshot showing her scheduled appt and finally received a response indicating they were out of the office and "because I asked for another instructor they scheduled him however he never confirmed" and they were sorry for the mistake. I asked them to call me and they indicated that someone would call me in the morning. I have texted 15 times, left several messages and NO one has called me back. I then called the DSAA (Driving Schools of America) to find out that they are NO longer affliated with them however it is still listed on their website. I also spoke to the DSAC (Driving School of California Association) and they are trying to reach out to the school on my behalf. My husband then drove to the companies address listed online in San Ramon, CA and it is a storage unit, Yup a storage unit. This school has my money, has provided two lessons and is currently holding my money hostage. Whatever you do, DO NOT book with this company UNLESS you prefer to have zero human communication when you schedule, ZERO customer service and ZERO follow through. My next step is to file a complaint with the DMV which was recommend by the DSAC. I will also be posting on Nextdoor, Facebook, Parents of SRVUSD facebook page as well as the Cal High parent facebook page. read more

Instructor was very nice, calm, answered any questions you had, and had the nice ability to make you feel comfortable even if it may be your first time driving. Vince did an excellent job getting our son ready for his DMV test. He was easy to work with, responsive to our questions, and made my son feel comfortable behind the wheel. The other company that we tried was booked out for 6 months, but Tri-Valley was able to get my sons 6 hours of driving in without a problem or delay.
