By starting early, Sara was really able to guide my daughter through career exploration, summer activities, volunteer opportunities, college application/essay process, and so much more. Sara was always available to us and we always felt she was supporting us in the utmost way. We had major life events that occurred over the last 3-4 years and Sara went out of her way to support us and find help to our answers. She truly wants to see her students exceed through the high school/college preparation experience. She feels part of our family and we will truly miss connecting with her through our meetings. I can't thank her enough for her generosity, positivity, and encouragement through what can be a very stressful experience. JEI performed an assessment and followed up by going through the test in understanding why and assessed the logical processes (logic) the student was using in performing the task mathematical steps they make. In my mind this was the difference for my son. We went back to a tutoring service because my son was in danger of failing middle school math and was in IED (Special Ed). After a few months, he not only caught up but was beginning to accel. The program was so successful for him, he remained in the program for about 1.5 yrs and has had A's in math ever since. His success has carried on into his second year at Jesuit high where his now on the Honor Roll. His experience and work ethic he developed there is a direct result of his achievements in all of his subjects. But must also stress, parental support and keeping the your child accountable. The kids have to do the WORK!!!

I'll say this: using The College Planning Center was one of the best decisions I could have possible made for my daughter's future! Preparing for college now is so much different than when I went to high school. I feel like there is so much more pressure on my kids than what I experienced. The College Planning Center does a fantastic job of helping organize high school class schedules and coordinating extracurricular activities if your kids are not already involved. They had consistent meetings with my daughter throughout her entire high school years. This was so important because there are times when my daughter was either too busy to focus on the global plan or was simply procrastinating, but having the consistent meetings never let my daughter get too far behind the schedule and goals that she set with her counselor at the Center. The College Planning Center also brings so much collegiate knowledge that we never would have thought about, whether it's enrolling in online college courses during the summer or attending various UC programs over the summer that helped boost our daughter's college applications. Rather than thinking about and preparing for college applications in my daughter's junior year, they helped us prepare throughout her high school experience. I can't tell you how much pressure this relieves when the application process actually beings. My daughter was far less stressed than most of her friends because she had been preparing consistently for a longer time. When you follow The College Planning Center's scheduling and goals, the whole process is so much more organized and less stressful! I could keep going, but we also have 4 kids that take a lot of attention and time away from focusing on one kid during application season. Passed my law and C20 exam first try. A few questions into the trade exam I knew I was going to…read morepass. The practice exams questions were very similar to the actual trade, I felt the exam questions for law were not as similar as the practice tests but I had enough confidence and knowledge from the videos provided that I was able to answer the questions. I would highly recommend this company. Submitting my application to CSLB was easy, they reviewed my application for errors and sent them back to me for corrections before submitting. For an additional fee, which was very reasonable (I shopped around), they submitted all the paperwork to register my s-corporation. All the videos and practice guides made me feel like my test was easy. As long as you study, you will pass.

Our frustration level was very high. He had hearing issues till he was five and that was causing delay in his ability to read. They suggested to talk to Bill at Huntington in Folsom. Bill met with us and tested our son for reading. He was at pre-school level at that time. Bill suggested a program in coordination with his school teacher. He even went and met his school teacher. This was an important decision for us. The program costs a bit as it will be one on one sessions with our child. We were presented with a plan and it was up to us to accept it. My wife and I talked about it and we decided on sending him to Huntington as it was an investment in our child. This was in October. His program now ends this month. It was a six month plan. This is my son today. A very positive confident kid who loves to read. We cannot be happier. He is at second grade level already. We cannot believe the transformation that happened to him.
