I was scheduled with Ashley Boxx, told her how many units I had been getting (up until 3 months prior) and was happy with the outcome. She insisted I needed nearly 3 times the amount, repeatedly. I compromised by nearly doubling the amount hoping she was right and thinking if nothing else it should look even better. I don't know if it was administered incorrectly or intentionally diluted to prove I needed more, but no evidence of receiving the Botox ever took place. I didn't know that was even possible. I feel like the response will be that I grew tolerance, but there's no way I got the same amount (increased a couple of units a couple times over years), then suddenly it does nothing out of the blue. So much money wasted and now I'm so hesitant to try any new offices. I also made it clear in appt that I just wanted injectables, but was pushed various "treatments" and shown before/afters having to awkwardly decline everything else, which I already said I wasn't interested in. I know that goes with the territory of these places, but it was a bit much. Lastly-- when I called I was quoted $13/unit, only to find out in person it's $16/unit.

I first had a consult with Dr. Bates and then worked with the surgery scheduler to find a date that works for me. I then did pre-op appointments to go over all my medication's and do some don'ts. Everything was explained to me and given to me in writing. Then came the countdown to surgery. Dr. Bates staff checked on me and made sure I knew what to do leading up to the big day. On the day of surgery I went to their surgery center, which was clean, nice and relaxing. I was nervous when I went back, but everyone was so kind and friendly. I woke up in recovery to wonderful staff members. I did have to stay the night but had a very cozy chair and a night nurse who felt like my best friend taking care of me. I almost didn't wanna go home! I'm home now recovering and I'm thankful I picked Dr. Bates and PVPS.

I was almost put at risk of infection during lasers because the staff here cannot get on the same page about anything. They do have beautiful buildings, and they seem competent at first. Can't be too one sided when multiple people experience the same. I had to have 2 surgeries by this man and he wanted to do a third! I had a mini neck left and breast augmentation twice and chemical peel once. My first breast surgery had gone well besides my left nipple facing outward. Within 3 months I developed two different complications that needed another surgery. That one was a "botch" job. My nipple was still facing outward along with them completely two different sizes and one was hard and other soft. My neck, instead of having one soft lose skin under my chin now I have two tight bands and the ends of the sutures stick out as a scar. I was told by one of the girls that the chemical peel which was performed 6 months ago would be pretty much healed with in 5 days. Still some Peeling and redness but should be better. I didn't start peeling until the 5 day, bright red, and could barely be recognized by the swelling. Also it was a rushed job due to complication that day with another pt and it took over an hour to get me back into surgery. Then his staff was frazzled. I felt pushed out when I woke up which the first surgery everything went smoother. The chemical was in my eye brows, in the corner of my eyes, under my eye, along my ear, and 1-2 inches into my scalp. Also a big blotch on my neck. I don't think I was properly protected. He wanted to do a third surgery, but I think that would just of been stupid of me! I came to this practice to help build confidence which instead led to misplaced confidence and depression. My nurse had years of experience as an Emergency room nurse. Following all infection control procedures she did an excellent job. There's several different add-ins you can get to your IV bag.
