I would highly recommend this company. Used them 2 yrs ago and the man that came, had our door…read morefixed in an hr! We had to call them again yesterday. They didn't have any techs available, so Adam, the manager, came out himself early this morning so we wouldn't have to wait to get it fixed. Adam was super nice, and very knowledgeable. and had our door fixed quickly and it works great. He didn't try to sell us a bunch of stuff and only charged us for what was fixed, which was very reasonable. To know they stand behind what they fix makes it even better.

It has taken me a few days to reflect on the extraordinary experience of dealing with a Veteran,…read moreFamily-owned business. Some context is in order first. This past Memorial Day Weekend, Saturday, my wife and I came home from celebrating between 6-7PM. As we entered our house, just as we stepped inside we heard an explosive crash. Immediately we thought someone had driven into our garage door, and it had fallen on our car. Somewhat of a relief, when we opened the door back into the garage, snapped cables were evident, and the door could not be lifted. We debated whether or whom to call knowing that no one would be working over the Holiday. So we began an AI search of regional garage door repair companies. After an exhaustive search we homed in on Door Serv Pro---their customer reviews, their standing with the BBB and rankings in several regional publications were encouraging. We gave a call fully anticipating that a recorded voice mail would be encountered. Instead Riley picked up the phone and very cheerfully greeted us. Frankly we were immediately shocked that a real human being would be manning the phone over the Holiday! After describing our situation (we were unable to exit the garage in an emergency) she first re-assured us that we were very very lucky that the door missed our car by inches. Second, she said Door Serv could get someone out the next day but there would be Holiday Service charge and that frankly, if we were able to wait till Tuesday, she could have one of their best techs at our place almost O-Dark Early Tuesday. Adam and Dylan arrived first thing Tuesday; we were smart to wait. Adam is the Service Manager with 16 years of garage door repair experience. Dylan is a young and capable apprentice. They knew exactly what to do. TOTAL PROFESSIONALS. They communicated throughout their door exam and recommended a course of action. Yes, they were not the least expensive; however two of our neighbors just recently and took "the least expensive" firm and regretted it (had to repeat the repairs with other firms!) Adam and Dylan are quite the team: highly knowledgeable, immaculate in their work, and a pleasure to have repairing what could have been a disaster. Not only are they personable, they made certain they cleaned up everything, and removed the debris/leaves in our garage! Within a day their team notified us to make sure we were pleased....we cannot lavish more praise on Door Serv--- we took a shot and they hit the mark. WHAT A PLEASURE TO WORK WITH A FIRM THAT IS NOT ONLY COMPETENT, BUT UNDERSTANDS SOLID CUSTOMER SERVICE. I would give them 10 STARS IF ABLE!

I'm leaving this review to share a balanced but honest account of my experience. While the end…read moreresult of the project was acceptable, the process was far more complicated and frustrating than it needed to be. The sales interaction set the tone with high‑pressure tactics, including statements like "this price is only available today." We moved forward anyway because we knew we wanted the work done. When I later asked to adjust the scope, the salesperson resisted for nearly ten minutes before agreeing to send a revised contract. The first crew delivered solid work on the drain line and concrete, but the vapor barrier installation was sloppy--uneven trimming, gaps, and inconsistent application. They also removed a board supporting the incoming water line without explanation, leaving it hanging from a wire and damaging the clamp. Their initial attempt to "fix" it involved taping the board to a pipe, which was not a proper or safe solution. The sump pump outlet was also installed in a way that caused the discharge pipe to partially block it, putting pressure on the plug. Communication was another major issue. I was never given a dedicated point of contact. I had to reach out to the salesperson again just to report problems. He forwarded my concerns to the office, and I was eventually contacted by Christal. She was professional and genuinely helpful, but her phone number repeatedly showed as disconnected, and only some text messages went through. I had to call the main line each time and ask to be routed to her. A week later, two crews returned and corrected the vapor barrier, repaired the board, and moved the outlet so it was no longer obstructed. The final work met expectations, but the overall experience involved unnecessary sales pressure, communication challenges, and multiple days off work for corrections and inspections.

My experience with JES Repair was frustrating and ultimately disappointing…read more The project itself was completed on schedule, but the quality and planning of the work left a lot to be desired. The beam repairs appear to have been completed in the easiest way possible, with little consideration for the work that would need to happen afterward. The crew cut the subfloor approximately three inches away from the walls and left it unsupported. As a result, my flooring contractor had to tear out two sections of flooring and replace the entire subfloor in those areas because the necessary repairs were never addressed during the original project. Even more frustrating, JES only opened a limited section of the floor instead of exposing the entire affected area. Once the flooring contractor had everything opened up, additional damaged wood was discovered that now requires even more repairs. Since JES was already working in that area, it is difficult to understand how these issues weren't identified or why the floor wasn't opened far enough to properly inspect the entire section. Addressing everything while the area was already exposed would have saved significant time, cost, and disruption. The inspection process was another major disappointment. The county inspection failed and was rescheduled without anyone from JES informing me ahead of time. I was then told that no one from JES would attend the reinspection and that it was between me and the county. As a homeowner, I'm not a contractor and shouldn't be expected to answer technical questions or represent the company's work to the building inspector. I hired JES expecting professional workmanship, thorough planning, and support through the entire process. Instead, I've been left coordinating additional repairs, paying for work that could have been avoided, and handling inspection issues that should have been managed by the contractor. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend JES Repair. UPDATE (07/08/2026): I connected with the resolution team and are working through the issues in a positive and constructive manner.

We were amazed that the whole job only took 4 1/2 hours to complete. The windows and door materials are high quality and we are very satisfied with the results.
