Today, 5/6/26 around 10am, I brought my 8-month-old Pomeranian here for daycare and a "greet &…read moremeet," exactly like they instructed me to do when I first visited last Friday to check out the facility. When I arrived, one of the staff members tried to put a leash on my dog but couldn't, so she asked me to do it instead. I had no problem helping and put the leash on myself. However, as I was walking back to my car, she removed the leash for some reason, ran outside with my dog, and told me she couldn't take him, couldn't train him, and that I needed to find a private trainer instead. What confuses and frustrates me is that I specifically brought my dog here because I was looking for professional help with training and socialization. He's only 8 months old, and instead of even attempting to work with him, they immediately refused him over something as basic as putting on a leash. The entire experience felt unprofessional and poorly handled. They wasted my whole morning, and I ended up late for work because I planned my schedule around dropping him off here. A little communication, patience, or honesty upfront would have gone a long way.

This update is a bit overdue (this happened last year in April of 2025), but it's been a very tough…read moretime. The first couple times we used Sitter4Paws we had a really great experience with the sitters that were assigned to our senior, diabetic cat. Last year, my mother unexpectedly passed away, and our regular cat sitter was unavailable for half of the trip home. We booked Sitter4Paws the second half of the trip, and let them know about the circumstances and requested sitters that had seen Jodie before so that we could rest easy during a very difficult time. Of course we know that can't always be accommodated due to scheduling, so for the first visit a new sitter came to see Jodie. On the evening of my mother's passing, we got a text from Sitter4Paws that the sitter felt he may have made a mistake with our cat's insulin dosage. It was revealed to us that instead of giving her her normal 2.25 unit dose, he gave her 22.5 units - ignoring the taped off/labeled syringes, our explicit written instructions in the app, and additional photos/diagrams of what a full syringe should look like. Thank god he realized his mistake, otherwise our cat would have slowly died alone in our apartment - and this would have happened immediately after losing my mom. I understand mistakes can happen, but the fact that a sitter was uncertain with potentially life-threatening medication if administered improperly and didn't even think to reach out to us first was quite shocking. Sitter4Paws took full responsibility, admitted their mistake, said they would take steps to make sure something like this would never happen again, and covered her 4 day ER stay, but it never should have gotten to that point. Again - we did have great sitters who took care of our cat wonderfully - but the uncertainty of who you can get especially with medication involved means that we can no longer recommend this service with confidence.

The one on the left had the smaller dogs, and the one on the right has the bigger dogs. I could be wrong, but it looked to me like the Big Dogs were cavorting on artificial grass... sometimes hot in the summer sun, but both sides had an overhang for shade . LOTS of big dogs. I was told they could have a total of 50 dogs at a time. My dog weighs 10 pounds, I was not able to view that play area through the one small window. I can't imagine leaving my dog someplace where I couldn't see where they would be kept during the day to play, nor were there cameras mentioned do as to watch the dog during the day. I was allowed to see the kennel area, which was appeared aged, dark and smelled heavily of well, dog! They must be doing something right based on the number of dogs! And, to be fair, my neighbor just loves this place. Maybe I missed something. For me, depressing, and dank. Your mileage will hopefully vary.
