Great cocktails and outstanding food. That in and of itself would garner 4 stars. What put this to a 5 star visit was our server Truman. Great suggestions and all around fun guy to have taking care of you. Reubens, corned beef dinner and Shepards pie. Outstanding!!! Egg rolls and wings appetizers were a great start to our meal. Laughter, joking and general fun was had by all. Truman took our kind hearted ribbing and dished it right back. We were there on a Thursday and will return when we are back in town.

After finally finding someone, we still waited quite a while before being seated. We were initially put in a booth for five, and when the rest of our party arrived and asked to move to a table, it became a much bigger ordeal than it should have been...even though the restaurant was mostly empty with larger tables already set. We were even asked to carry our own waters and unused silverware to the new table. The service felt rushed and dismissive throughout the meal. Simple menu questions seemed to annoy our server, and she frequently interrupted our conversations with unsolicited comments. At one point I was looking at the weekly specials menu and she took it out of my hands to flip it over because I was looking at the wrong side. It came across as surprisingly rude. She also spilled water on our table and the floor, then laughed when I reached for a napkin to clean it up myself. The food was okay. My burger tasted good, but it wasn't cooked to the temperature I requested and came with tomato after I had asked for none. I also found the prices hard to justify, especially since the lunch menu had several items that weren't available to order at dinner. Overall, there were some good flavors, but between the service and the price, the experience didn't live up to expectations.

I stopped in on a Thursday night for a quick bite after work and had the Fried Grilled Cheese which, while simple, might have been one of my favorite things I've had all year across the whole country.
