After walking in go toward the stage and there will be staff to take you to your seat. I got VIP tickets so was seated at the front. Soon after being seated, a server came to take my order. There is a two item minimum per person. I got the watermelon margarita, lemon pepper boneless chicken, and peach paradise sangria. Service was mostly good. My server came by regularly. The only minor issue I had was having to ask for utensils and water twice. It seems the server who takes the order is different from the ones that serve the food/drink. You are not allowed to use your phone during the show so be sure to put it away and on silent. The opening acts were good. Russell Peters was very funny as usual. All in all it was a fun laughter filled evening.

Additionally, we will stop recommending this venue to any of our friend in the forceeable future. We have discovered Levity Live back in January. My wife was scouring Facebook and found tickets for Gabriel Iglecias. We love Fluffy. Bought tickets for herself, me and our 15yo son. We have went to the concert, walked through front door, no id was asked, and enjoyed our time. Even got a private time with Fluffy after the concert. Have pictures to prove it. Second time just about a week ago went to see Phil Medina and other comedians. Same story three tickets, no id asked for. Also have pictures of our son and Phil after the concert in front of the venue. --- And this brings us to today. Found rare tickets for Nurse John. Again. Got three tickets. Nowhere on the tickets or on the platform where we got them from was an age restriction. Went to the venue early to get better seats. At the door we are stopped and prompted for id's. We have asked why? Club is now 21 and over, new policy. We have asked if we would be allowed in with the minor as our responsibility, and were told that it si up to the floor manager to decide. Few minutes later floor manager appears; Unfortunately we can not let you in, I have called higher management and they have denied the entry. My wife had asked for a refund or a equal value credit. While pointing out that this is not a first time we would bring our underage son to this venue. Managers response was shoking: Even though you have managed to sneak your son in in the past. We can not allow him in and we can not give you a refund. --- We were just accused in SNEAKING our son in in front of other people. Is this professional? -- All of a sudden a security guard appears next to us. Not doing anything just watching. My wife had suggested to continue conversation outside so, we don't interfere with other ticket holders whom, btw are not asked for their ids. Outside we are now accompanied by two security officers. The manager is not offering any logical solutions to the situation, just repeating herself about offering us a venue credit and denying the refund. Conversation lasts for few minuets and all of a sudden a third security guard appears: a woman. Judging by her demeanor, could be a supervisor. We are now surrounded by three security guard. My wife is 5'2. Are they afraid she would go hand to hand with them? Conversation continues but now it is accompanied by extremely rude remarks from a female security guard aimed at my wife, to a point that I had to point that out, just to be dismissed. We are now offered a business card that we would have to use to call and supposedly reveive some comp tickets. we are agreeing since there is no point in dragging the conversation further. Clearly manager has absolutely no interest in resolving the situation but trying to dismiss it and get rid of us as quickly as possible. Both the manager and female security gueard leave to fetch a business card. Few minutes later only female security guard appears and tosses us a business card, with extremely sarcastic: here you are have a nice day, comment. My wife picks the card and while we are turning to leave, all of a sudden I hear: "what about f...g b..ch" coming from the female guard. I turn around and ask one of the male security guards about a name of that person just to be server with a response: don't worry about it. ---- During his performance Phil Medina had announced that this was his last concert at Levity Live due to some "changes" Apparently these changes effect not just performers but the audience as well. It is also apparent that management has no interest in taking care of their customers if customer service is non existent. . We loved going to Levity Live. We loved the food, the atmosphere, and the performes, but all this is in the past now thankful to people in charge of keeping customers happy but having no interest and possibly experience of doing so.

I've been taking lessons from Tara for about three and a half years. The amount of progress I've…read moreseen during that time is incredible. I first came to her because my voice was fatiguing whenever I sang. I'd never had training and wasn't sure if the singing I was doing at home was damaging my voice. Right away, she identified the weaker area of my voice and started to give me exercises that strengthened weak muscles, improved resonance and tone, and helped add a consistency to my voice I'd never had before. I came to her thinking my voice maxed out at the top of the staff and within my first lesson she proved that I had a much larger range than I thought I did. Over time that range has expanded even further. What I appreciate most, though, is that she constantly pushes me to keep growing. Whether it it is in the difficulty of the music I'm learning, the artistry of the performance, or the techniques I'm learning in my exercises, there is always a next level and Tara ensures that I keep challenging myself just enough to stay engaged without becoming too overwhelmed. This, more than anything, has improved my performance and grown my confidence immensely. I'm so grateful to have learned everything I've learned from her, and I can't wait to see what the three and a half years (and beyond) of lessons will bring.

She teaches from a scientist's perspective, focusing on the anatomy of the voice and delving into how the muscles of the vocal cords really work together to create a beautiful, developed, and cohesive sound. So straightforward, easy to understand, and she teaches you at YOUR pace, not her own. Laurel was incredible- not only was my daughter sounding stronger and better within a day of her first lesson, Laurel taught her some hacks for how to deliver on those high notes that usually require head voice, how to handle diphthongs and so much more. Her approach is joyful and fun and this - coupled with her experience and getting actual noticeable results- made my daughter excited for each lesson. I time it so I'm placing my order and the popcorn is being emptied from the kettle. I smile and give the counterperson my order. I ask politely if they would please scoop up that wonderfully hot popcorn they just popped. The employee usually says, Sure! Then one of two things happen: Either they proceed to shove the popcorn scoop as far down into the popcorn receptacle as their arms will allow, and dredge up some lame ash barely lukewarm popcorn from the depths. Or they use the scoop to swirl the fresh, hot, newly popped popcorn into the already cooled off popcorn, squandering the opportunity to fill my damn bag with the freaking hot popcorn I requested. All they have to do is scoop the hot popcorn in the bag. Don't mix it in with the old first. Just put the damn popcorn in the bag, while it's still hot! So, yeah, if they could just accomplish that one simple task I would be rating this place a solid three stars. And I would be a regular customer. But I like to enjoy some hot popcorn with my movies, and I accept that that is never going to happen here. Your most earnest supplications will be denied. Consequently, the only time I see movies here are for special screenings. Often they feature screenings of random hit movie's 25th or 50th Anniversary release. One of the bartenders even ended up being my roommate for a time (and we would dance together in the living room). It was a hard time in my life when I first went there and I've grown and become, hopefully, a much better person just from experiencing the wonderful friends I've met. I could tell so many stories, but my point is simply this: This is THE BEST bar I have ever been to in my entire life and I cannot say enough good things about it and the people who run it, the regulars, bartenders, etc. Just genuinely awesome people. Even just the other day, a couple came in and they hadn't been there before, and we were just talking and they said "This is such a nice place." It's like Cheers. I walk in the door and end up hugging like everyone before I even get my name on the pool table (they also have a really nice pool table. I've been playing for years now as a result.) The owners Big J and Dave are awesome... I'm kind of overflowing with compliments here but it's just... it's the best place. If I had to choose what I was going to do with my night, my day, whatever, just getting out, it would be The Garage. Absolutely awesome.
