I came to Bingo Loco expecting a fun night out with friends, and while the event itself was very entertaining and the venue was as expected, the service completely ruined the experience. Out of 50+ reviews I have done, this is one of two negative reviews so it shows that I like to usually give props rather than poor reviews. Our group was seated together once everyone arrived, and we all ordered well within the stated two-item minimum (most of us ordered 2-4 items each). Unfortunately, one person's food never came out with the rest of ours. When we asked about it, we were told it was "coming" from another window, yet someone who ordered the exact same item after us--with the same server--received theirs at least 20 minutes earlier. When the food finally arrived, it was after the rest of us had finished eating--and it was cold. To make matters worse, the food that wasn't eaten was taken away by staff while they were clearing tables. When we asked to speak with a manager, things only got worse. Tracey was extremely combative and unprofessional. She accused my friend of eating the food, refused to address the group, and insisted on only speaking to the person who ordered. She also claimed that when the server brought the food, it was said to be hot and they cleared an empty plate--which was simply not true. In reality, my friend had only taken a few bites, and even a server had asked if she wanted a box--so the accusations and statements being made were completely inaccurate and quite demeaning. We weren't expecting anything to be comped--we simply wanted the mistake acknowledged and handled appropriately. Instead, the "solution" was a 10% discount on that one item (about $1.70), which hadn't even been eaten. On top of that, the bill included an extra item we didn't order, and instead of applying the available duo option, items were charged individually, increasing the total unnecessarily. After we agreed to pay (even the unnecessary upcharges) and thought the situation was over, Tracey stood at the end of our row watching us and giving us a stink eye, which felt incredibly uncomfortable and unprofessional. How would you feel if you are being glared at as if we were in the wrong??? I've worked in customer service, and this was one of the worst managerial interactions I've ever experienced. Tracey was unapologetic, dismissive, and downright rude. No customer should be treated this way. I will say our server was kind and seemed genuinely apologetic, which made it clear the issue was not with the waitstaff but with management. I sincerely feel bad for the employees who have to deal with the fallout from this kind of behavior. The event itself has potential, but the service--especially from management--was unacceptable. I would not return if this manager doesn't get better training and learns that some people are genuinely telling the truth and they should be kind in return. read more

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Levity Live in Oxnard. I planned this evening as a special surprise for my cousin's 55th birthday because she has been a longtime fan of Jamie Foxx, going back to when he performed regularly in Los Angeles at the Regency West. We were both really excited about the show. Unfortunately, the evening was overshadowed by poor service and the way management handled a simple billing issue. Service was very slow, and we had to repeatedly ask for basic items. When our bill arrived, we noticed a charge for shrimp tempura that was never delivered to our table. When we politely explained that we had not received the item, several staff members approached our table and immediately accused us of receiving it rather than taking the time to check what may have happened. The situation was unnecessarily escalated during the show and became very embarrassing. Instead of resolving the matter professionally, we were ultimately removed from the showroom and not allowed to return, which caused us to miss the remainder of the performance. This was meant to be a special birthday celebration, but it ended up being a very disappointing and upsetting experience. Very disappointing experience at Levity Live Oxnard on February 25, 2026 during the Jamie Foxx show. My cousin and I traveled over 100 miles looking forward to a great night of entertainment, but the evening quickly turned frustrating. Service was extremely slow. We had to repeatedly ask for basic items like utensils, napkins, and additional ranch for our wings, and by the time the server returned, the food was already cold. Things became worse when our bill included a charge for shrimp tempura that was never delivered to our table. A fantastic night out at Levity Live! Caught a show at Levity Live and had an incredible experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was fun, the show was great, and the service took everything to the next level. Troy, the manager, went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of the entire night. You can tell he genuinely cares about guests having a good time, and it made a huge difference in our experience. Our server, Evie, was absolutely incredible!Friendly, attentive, during a very exciting show, without ever feeling rushed. Drinks, food, timing... she nailed it. I've been to Levity Live a handful of times & saw some well known Comedians. Great, intimate venue at The Collection in Oxnard. Check out their website to see upcoming events & to purchase tickets for shows. I have learned to arrive early. That way you have time to order food & drinks while the lights are still on lol... Then the lights go off. They do start on time... If you arrive super early, you will prolly get some prime seating. On my recent visit, it seemed like they had a new ordering system. You can scan the QR Code found at your designated table/seat. You can also order/pay online... There are still servers that come around & take your order, which worked out for me since I had bad phone reception for some reason. I was surprised that they have some good menu items. I enjoyed my appetizer & drinks. The boneless wings were perfect for me for dinner, as it came with celery & carrot sticks. My friend is pretty picky & didn't like her food or drink. Oh well, her opinion & not my problem lmao. She still ate her sliders tho... Pick the right adult beverage & you will definitely have a HahaHilarious time. We went this past weekend to see Phil Medina headline with other local comedians. We have been a few other times before. It's always a fun night! We arrived about 25 minutes before the show. We were seated comfortably at one of the tables. People seemed confused by this. It's how it works. :) There is a 2 item minimum. I had the red sangria and my husband got a water bottle. The sangria was sweet, but it was enjoyable. We shared the pretzels and really liked those. It was a $60 night; Phil generously gave us show tickets. Phil was funny. He thankfully avoided ICE jokes and Trump compliments. We appreciated that! He also handled the drunk young woman heckler next to us. (They tell you no heckling, ma'am!) We liked all the comedians and really loved the 11 year old who came out, and the crowd cheered so hard for her to support her entry into comedy. That is the Ventura County Way! Went to see Craig Shoemaker on Saturday, August 30. The check in-process and seating was super easy. The servers were all very friendly, welcoming and efficient during my visit. A few notes for improvement would be the quality of the sound system, especially in the middle and back of the room. It was difficult to make out a lot of the comedian's set and there was a lot of feedback several times. Additionally, the shared bathrooms were not clean at all and the men's restroom was out of soap in all of the dispensers near the sinks. Two items minimum is standard for comedy clubs and the prices are on par with others. I do wish that the non-alcoholic beverages (especially water) were a bit less expensive than $7 a pop. Plenty of parking out back of the club and throughout The Oxnard Collection space. Overall, a fun night out at a club for 500 patrons with a more modern feel (digital stage and top tier lighting) than other similar venues. read more

Fun place and always nice to get a good laugh. They typically have a "2 item per person" minimum which means a drink and food or 2 of one of those. The food is not bad but definitely not the highlight. Come for the comedy and some drinks. If getting food, I would go with the nachos. read more

First the Sangria's were way way too sweet..the boneless wings and chicken and waffles were just mid. Just dont order the chicken its like they just nuked it and served it to you! Gotta get in line when doors open or you will be seated in a tight cramped table like elbow to elbow and if there is someone sitting in front of you who's taller then good luck seeing the stage. Horrible. At least have stadium seating so everyone can see the stage instead of the back of someone's head! We went to Levity Live last night in Oxnard for my birthday celebration. If you're thinking of coming here for dinner and a show... don't. The chicken wings tasted like a McDonald's Happy Meal dipped in ketchup, the pretzels were so greasy I'm pretty sure they left a sheen on my soul, and we sent back the flavorless street tacos. Then the headliner -- a well-known movie comedian, no less -- spent the entire set describing some of the most obscene, cringe-inducing scenarios I've ever heard on a stage. Not clever, not edgy, just plain uncomfortable. We walked out before the show was over, I couldn't take any more. Between the sad excuse for dinner and the shock-for-shock's-sake comedy, this was a night I wish I could return for a refund (and we spent a lot of money for this night of "entertainment"). I've been to levity live more times than I can count on my fingers! It's one of our go to local date night places. The comics are typically good (a few misses) but overall, we've had plenty of laughs here! Parking can be challenging, especially on weekends, so get here a little early to account for that. You can go into the venue early so you can have dinner prior to the show if you want. You check in once you step in and they check for your name on their list. Then you walk into the theater and someone walks you to your seats. Servers are pretty quick to take your order and the food may take some time to come out (depending on how many people are there for the show). There is a two item minimum and I've had several things on the menu. White corn guac + chips: 7/10, basic but not bad Spinach artichoke dip: 7.5/10 Angus burger sliders: 6.5/10, nothing spesh Cheeseburger egg rolls: 5/10, flavors were good but SOO oily Nachos with shredded beef: 6/10, large portion but not anything special Garlic fries: 8/10 Chicken quesadilla: 8/10, the salsa that comes with it is good. I've ordered this several times, it's a pretty safe/solid choice Nashville hot chicken: 4/10. Not a fan and I loooove hot chicken! Philly cheesesteak: 6/10 Margherita pizza: 6.5/10. Basic but okay DESSERTS Brownie salted caramel: 7.5/10 Strawberry shortcake: 6/10 Fried Oreos: 8/10, this one slaps. Oreos, fried, and with ice cream! In all my years of living in Oxnard, not once have I ever been to Levity Live. That all changed when I jumped at the chance to see Jamie Foxx surprise show. Tickets were around $35 each for a mid week show so my daughter and I went since she has never been either. Getting in was fast, there was a photo backdrop when you walk in and the place was pretty big with plenty of seating. Right away a waitress took our order. We got food and drinks in no time. As with most comedy clubs there's a 2 drink minimum which wasn't an issue at all. We ordered 2 waters, 2 dirty martinis, an order of garlic fries and buffalo cauliflower. Not bad for bar food at all! It was nice to eat with the lights still up and we were all finished by the time the show started. Great venue, great drinks and good food. Now I'm scanning their site to catch another comic at this spot! My only negative is feeling like a sardine with how many of us squeezed onto the counter space so you definitely get cozy with strangers. read more

The food and drinks were pretty good but what was amazing was the comedy! We have seen a few shows here and they are always hilarious. The only thing I would change is the seating. The have you VERY packed in to long tables- like practically on a stranger's lap. Also if you there with just one person they seat you across from each other instead of next to each other so you can't talk at all, and in fact you will be facing away from each other once the show starts. Next time we will pay for the VIP table to avoid all of this but I think they should improve this seating situation. Other than that, it's a great local comedy club! We went on 10/5/25 to see Nate Jackson and it was a great show. The host and other two comedians that went on before him were good and Nate was amazing. It was worth the two hour drive and the food and drinks were great too! The only problem was the fact that we stood in the line to get in with 300 other people for one hour. We were supposed to arrive by 8:15p for an 8:30pm show and we didn't get seated until about 10pm. Not cool for my wife who had heels on. But again, the show was great! read more

Wonderful venue! I saw Learnmore Jonasi perform yesterday evening and what a treat this experience was! His content was on point and he interacted so well with the audience. Good warm-up acts plus a yummy, diverse menu, great service in a very clean setting. My favorite nibble was the spinach artichoke dip, with French fries coming in at a close second. On my next visit, I will definitely try the fried Oreos, which sound like a fun, tasty, throwback treat! read more

we saw Jeff Garcia last weekend. Super weak. He had a couple decent comedians with him. He did nothing but pander, no act at all. The microphone was way too loud, We were all blown away how loud and uncomfortable it was. We spent the extra money for the booth and would not recommend it at all. The most abysmal lemon pepper wings I have ever had in my life time. Did not taste like lemon or pepper just tasted like straight up oil. They also were a horrible texture inside. If youre going to order anything absolutely DO NOT get the lemon pepper wings. You can see how at the bottom they are just soaking in oil. Service is also pretty bad, not really the servers fault but the venue set up is horrible to get their attention. The ambiance sucks as well, they pack u in like sardines. I've been to Levity Live around 16 times in the past four months, and it has quickly become one of my favorite places to unwind and decompress. I no longer drink or smoke, so finding something that I genuinely enjoy this much has been a true blessing. The layout, ambience, & overall vibe of this spot is the best. I've also become familiar with a lot of the staff and they definitely deserve a shoutout, especially Troy! They truly provide amazing service and help make the overall experience fun! I always feel like a VIP there. I have traveled all around California and out of state for comedy shows, but I am thankful to have discovered this true gem in my own backyard. I've now seen many shows here, from big names to comedians I'd never heard of before, and I'm always laughing my ass off! They consistently feature awesome talent, which is why I keep coming back. The food is also pretty good! Definitely better than I initially expected. I highly recommend the donuts! I've been to 2 comedy shows here, the tickets were free which is amazing! But I will say the 2 purchase minimum is a huge buzzkill! Water is $7 which is ridiculous! Also if I had bought the tickets there still is a 2 purchase minimum, which I think is crazy! If the tickets are free it kinda makes sense but not if you paid for your ticket! Except the Sangria which was overly sugary. And at $65 for 4 subpar items, definitely a waste of money. Not a fan of any of the comedians, except Phil made me crack a smile a couple times. One guy was so bad. He didn't seem to make anyone laugh. Another guy talking about working with autistic kids and then having sex in the same sentences was pretty strange. Great venue for a comedy show. Parking was a little difficult to find since it was a Friday night at The Collection. We came around 6 and the host sat us right away at a table for 4 in the front. Great food and drink menu selections. I was sad they were out of the Philly cheesesteak but the next best thing is the Nashville hot chicken sandwich, came out hot and delicious. The Place- Nice with your typical comedy show type seating. The Service- Friendly and good. The Shows- I have been here several times and always enjoyed the shows. FYI- As Oxnard is a little off the beaten path for comedians you just need to check the website from time to time as big name performers due come out but not all the time. The Food- What you would expect at a comedy club. One nice extra is that instead of a 2 drink minimum per person is that there is a 2 item minimum purchase and that can be used for food also. 1) Margherita Pizza- Pretty good and I would get it again. 2) Warm Pretzels- It was okay but I would get something different the next time. 3) Angus Burger Sliders- Good and I would get again. 4) Nachos- I would say no because by the time they get to you they are already cold. 5) Philly Cheesteak Sandwich- My favorite! A great venue! We saw IMomSoHard and they were hilarious! The comedy lineup at this venue is great! There are two levels, anywhere in the front seems great and the first row on second level. So get there early! It is quiet close between tables. The wait staff was pretty quick bringing food and drinks out. The sliders were 6/10, white sangria 10/10, fried pickles 10/10, warm donut holes with dipping chocolate 9/10. We will keep checking the line up and will be back! read more

Really disappointed. We don't get out often and we finally had a night without the kids. Go out to see Kevin smith. Show itself was great! Love him. The wait staff however absolutely ruined it. We were served appetizers without drinks and then later our meal without drinks. They were so loud and obnoxious in the kitchen we couldn't even flag anyone down. We attended the WIcked Sing along Drag Brunch, which was a great show. We got VIP seats, near the stage but I had to twist around to see the the show. Everyone had a blast no matter what seat they had. The performers were all over the room, which is typical for a drag show because they need those tips. I have sympathy for the staff. I have worked in this type of venue. The trick to getting good service is get there early and don't ask for anything special. This is a large venue. Hundreds of customers that all arrive at the same time, sometimes you have to wait your turn. Our orders came in a predictable order. Drinks that didn't come from the bar, cold food, then the bar order and a wait for hot food. As far as drag shows go, and I have seen many, this is the top of the heap. These Queens have it going on, The makeup, the outfits, the humor! I would love to see this show at a more appropriate venue, where the queens can remain on the stage.Some of the things they pull of here are amazing and surprisingly funny. read more

Went for the Disney Villains drag bunch. It was so much fun. It was a bit slow compared to some of the other drag shows I've been to, lots of talking and down time, but the queens were amazing. Madame Laqueer from season 4 of RuPauls drag race killed it. Some of them were a miss with obscure characters leaving me scratching my head. Even the obscure characters delivered great performances though. We did vip seating so we were close to the stage. The venue is big, a bit crowded being by other groups at the tables by the stage. The food wasn't bad. We had the cheeseburger egg rolls these were good, I like the lettuce they give you to wrap the roll in, and a pepperoni pizza which wasn't anything special but not bad.. We also had two desserts in mason jars, the key lime pie this had way too much crust crumble and the brownie salted caramel which was delicious.
