First time at The Dime Studio and will absolutely be using Mark for my son from now on. Had an appt at 1:30 and he was in the chair right on time and done in about 20 minutes. He hasn't had a cut in almost 6mos and came out looking great. He's very pleased with the cut and enjoyed his time in Mark's chair. They talked high school sports and mountain biking. Price was good for the quality and service provided. The Dime Studio for the win! Great job Mark and thank you! read more

It's been a couple years since I have been to a salon due to past bad experiences. I found Alanah with a quick search and viewed her work on social media and immediately knew she was the gal for me. When I arrived I was greeted by everyone there. Alanah made sure to take her time and listen to what I really wanted when it came to cutting and styling my hair. It was a true pamper sesh. I never once felt like the session was rushed or dismissed. She made many recommendations for good hair products for my kind of hair and took her time to show me how to style my new cut at home without over complicating it. I appreciate all the work she put into my hair and she genuinely was excited for me to try something different. I couldn't recommend Alanah enough! 10/10 I will be coming back in the future and recommending her to everyone I know! Thank you, Alanah! read more

I can't say enough great things about Mark and The Dime Studio. Mark was very gracious in accommodating a haircut crisis that my curly-haired teenage son was dealing with the night before a big day (read "date"). Not only did he make time for us to come in and fix the tragic cut he received from a stylist I will not name, he did an excellent job making my son's hair look better than either of us had ever expected. Mark did such an excellent job that I immediately scheduled my own haircut and am very pleased with the result. I would definitely recommend Mark at The Dime Studio. read more

Best men's haircut in the IE!!!!! Marky mark and the gang definitely know how dime you up!!!

Where do I start? 6/5 stars if i was able! Mark, owner and the person have styled my hair, is an absolute class act. I was hesitant finding a stylist from straying away from my traditional barber. Mark was extremely communicative, professional, and humble when consulting with me regarding my "new look". He was patient and helped me get ideas on how to style my hair since it was almost a year since I cut it. My fiancée was thrilled about my new hair style and I have no one else but Mark to thank for it. Need a new barber/stylist/hairdresser? Mark and his team are the people for your needs and wants. Thank you again Mark! read more

Man, what a difference between the norm shoot the shit and get a buzz cut barber shop and this place. Called the day before, they were booked, but happy to accommodate me the next morning. Shop is in really nice and quaint area of old town. Nicely appointed, good music and comfy chairs. Let me say I am in no way a primping and what not kind of guy, bud having not changed the style of my hair since grade-school, I listened to my wife and left it in the capable hands of Mark. He did not disappoint. My wife and I BOTH left very impressed with the cut and style he did. His professionalism was top notch and the guy has a firm grasp on kick ass bands to boot, all second fiddle to his amazing skills with the scissors. Thank you Mark for helping me raise the bar and my wife's eyebrows again :) read more

Good luck getting a haircut here. Doesn't seem to matter which day or time you come, they either aren't open or there's nobody free to cut hair. There's usually just one hairstylist orcleaning people working. read more

I just got my hair done my Mark. You can tell he pours his heart into his craft. I never know what to ask for when I go into a salon. Mark walked me through a couple of different option and with his expertise I went with highlights and lowlights. My hair turned out better than what I had ever imagined. The tone is perfect and the colors really pop off of each other. Another stylist there was showing us pictures of some of her work. I started going to Mark a few years ago on a recommendation from a friend of a friend. Ever since my first visit I've always felt in great hands. Mark is very knowledgeable in his craft and makes you feel comfortable and welcomed the whole time in the chair. I have been a client of Mark for almost a decade. The Dime Studio provides services for men and woman than cannot be compared to. I have long hair, and tend to stick with a natural balayage. Mark did an amazing job! I wish I was staying in the area as he would be my go to for cuts and styling advice. I've been unsure of what I wanted to do with my hair and as it is very short, there are not many options. However, he did a great job working with me and the natural way my hair behaves! Now I need to learn how to style it as good as he did! I would recommend Mark if you want to look your best. He was very knowledgeable, kind, and easy to talk with. read more

I got my hair colored and extentions added for my wedding. Mark is amazing! When the hair was delivered the entire back pieces were missing and he very quickly ran out and found a substitute for me as my wedding was in 3 days. The color blended amazingly and looked gorgeous with my hair style. He even said he will put back in the few that I have lost since then. I don't usually go to salons for my hair but working with mark has convinced me to start doing it again. Huge thanks to mark and dime studio! read more
