There was no elevator and as a person with mobility issues it was difficult, often painful, to reach the second floor where the service took place. The staff were pleasant mostly except when they asked us to go back downstairs for the cocktail hour, I refused because I knew that I would not be able to climb the stairs again. Cocktail hour was a joke since there were 2 bartenders to handle 200+ guests. I never got a cocktail or cool beverage - NOTHING WAS ON ICE! Not even the champagne. This venue was obviously not meant for this number of people - there were 2 unisex bathrooms with a total of 4 stalls - always a line, the caterer (required to use by the venue) was horrendous with all the food cold, drinks not cold and not enough. I'm sure that the bride and groom never noticed a problem, but when you leave such an event you shouldn't be figuring out where you want to go to eat. MY RECOMMENDATION - do not use this venue for more than 20 people.

You use your own cater for an event, so won't comment on the food here. The coolest part about using this event for a wedding is that the building is several levels and they utilize the space really well. For example, they flipped the ceremony room into the reception room and had the guests go downstairs for cocktails & hors d'oeuvres. Meanwhile, the wedding party went and took pictures in other areas. The only poor thing I have to say about the place was during the ceremony, the one window was directly in the sunlight so it made one side of the aisle really bright and difficult to see. But everything else was so great the place deserves five stars.

It has taken me six months to write this review because I wanted to make sure I shared our…read moreexperience thoughtfully rather than out of frustration. From the very beginning, our experience with this venue was disappointing. When we arrived for our scheduled tour, we waited approximately 20 minutes before anyone greeted us. Once someone finally came to meet us, she didn't know who we were or even the year of our wedding, despite us providing that information when scheduling the appointment. During the meeting, we explained our vision for our October 2025 wedding. We also shared that incorporating my Puerto Rican culture into our menu was extremely important to us. We were told that their caterers could "pretty much do anything" and that we would be able to customize the menu with Puerto Rican appetizers and entrées. We also informed them that we had hired our own wedding coordinator. We were assured that this would not be an issue because they regularly worked with outside vendors. The venue itself is beautiful, and that's ultimately what convinced us to book. Unfortunately, the problems started almost immediately after we paid our $1,000 deposit. When it came time to sign our contract, we were quoted a completely different price than the estimate we had received. We later learned that the consultant had mistakenly provided us with 2024 pricing instead of the 2025 pricing--even though we repeatedly stated throughout the meeting that our wedding was in October 2025. The written estimate included prices but did not indicate the year they applied to. When I brought this to the attention of the venue director, I was met with attitude rather than understanding. Instead of acknowledging the mistake, I was told I would have to pay the higher rate. It took my wedding planner stepping in and advocating on our behalf before the venue finally honored the original quoted pricing. Sadly, this set the tone for the rest of our planning experience. Throughout the year, communication was difficult. Questions often went unanswered for days, and when my coordinator reached out for information or clarification, she was frequently met with resistance rather than cooperation. One of our biggest disappointments involved the food. We specifically chose this venue because we were told the menu was highly customizable and that incorporating our culture would be easy. As planning continued, we learned that wasn't true. The only customization we were ultimately allowed was one appetizer. The flexibility that had been presented during the sales process simply wasn't available. We also encountered unnecessary difficulties because we chose not to use the venue's preferred vendors. While we had been told during the tour that outside vendors were welcomed, that did not reflect our experience during planning. On our wedding day, things did not improve. Our coordinator had to push just to gain access to the reception space so she could finish setting up in less than two hours. Throughout the day, no one from the venue checked on us, asked if we needed anything, or made us feel like valued clients. We felt like just another event rather than a couple celebrating one of the biggest days of our lives. Several of our guests were also denied drink service despite not being intoxicated, which created unnecessary confusion and frustration during the reception. At the very end of the night, the only interaction we had with venue staff was being handed a gift and told we were receiving a refund check. When I asked how much it was, I discovered the refund was for one dollar. After everything we had experienced over the previous year, that moment honestly felt insulting. The most disappointing part of this experience wasn't the pricing issue, the vendor restrictions, or even the communication problems. It was the overall feeling that our happiness as a couple simply wasn't a priority. We never felt supported, appreciated, or cared for throughout the planning process. It's unfortunate because the venue itself is beautiful. However, beautiful grounds cannot make up for poor communication, inconsistent information, and a lack of customer care. Six months later, I'm still disappointed by how we were treated. We were happy to invest thousands of dollars in our wedding here, but we never felt like we were treated with the respect and care that every couple deserves. I sincerely hope this feedback is taken seriously so future couples have a much better experience than we did.

When I called to inquire about her services, she made the time to meet me that day and we had a great conversation - and I wished I had hired her from the very beginning!!! Roxanne went ABOVE and BEYOND, we literally met for 8 hours at a time on many occasions to make sure we had all the details right, made wise vendor selections and she thought of all the things I didn't. She was literally working day and night to make my wedding a success. Roxanne uses software that is user friendly and efficient, and her excel skills are so impressive. She is organized, detail oriented, timely, responsible, reliable, thoughtful, and honestly the list just goes on..and on...and on!!! On top of all this, she is such a kind person, you can feel her warm spirit upon the first time you meet her. She is always calm no matter what kind of stressful thing comes her way and for that I am SO grateful. Just one week before the wedding, the hotel where we had booked our bridal suite called to tell me that they had accidentally triple booked and we no longer had the suite. I freaked out and Roxanne dropped everything she was doing that day to come and talk with the GM of the hotel and the way she negotiated a new deal resulted in an even better situation than we originally had! She handled challenges with vendors, family, etc with such grace and tact. Though she is so sweet, she was also firm and fair with negotiations and I always felt like she was advocating for me as the bride rather than trying to make extra bucks for preferred vendors - while also respecting the crafts and expertise of the vendors. Her many years of experience showed so many times when she was able to come up with creative solutions to seemingly insurmountable problems caused by my previous planner. She also came up with innovative ways to stay within budget as much as possible. I saved thousands of dollars working with Roxanne! My wedding of 400+ guests would have been a complete mess if it weren't for her. Roxanne made me feel so comfortable in the weeks leading up to the wedding, and the day of was no different. She was there early in the morning, ensured we had breakfast and lunch for the bridal party, and I even had another staff member, Amy, with me all day to address anything I needed. Roxanne's staff was communicating with one another all day and with vendors ensuring everything was going according to the detailed timelines she created. She had staff at the hotel, the church and the reception venue at all times to ensure everything was happening as it should and to assist vendors as needed. When we were running behind schedule, she and her team were able to switch things around to accommodate our needs and keep us on track. Most importantly, Roxanne and her team stayed at our reception venue until the very end (5AM!!) to ensure that all vendors met the rules of our very strict venue so we would not be fined. Because of Roxanne and her team, not even 1 flower petal was left behind! No doubt, the Tres Belle team are the ultimate wedding planning professionals. This review doesn't even begin to capture everything Roxanne and her team did for my wedding. My family, husband and I are eternally grateful!!!! While other catering companies responded within 1-2 business days, it took Spilled Milk nearly a week to get back to me. Once they did, they asked me to complete a questionnaire, which I did promptly. Sadly, I heard nothing for almost another week. After following up myself, they finally responded and informed me that they could not provide a quote unless I had already secured a venue. During that same week, we had spoken with 8 other catering companies who had no problem providing thoughtful proposals without needing our venue locked in. Spilled Milk's justification? "We are not a copy and paste catering company." The response came off more condescending than professional. If this is the level of communication and inflexibility they show before being hired, I can only imagine what it would be like working with them through the planning process. This whole interaction made my fiancé and I feel like our business was not worth their time. We regret wasting our energy on a company that clearly had a "we are too good for you" mentality from the start.
