Doctor Bonny is extremely knowledgeable and has made me feel comfortable with any situation I've had in the past. His quality of care is outstanding and is extremely sensitive to me and my wife. We love him and cannot be more satisfied with his professionalism. I highly recommend him to family and friends and have all had great results with his care. read more

I usually see Dr. Li. I have been doing virtual visits during this pandemic due to my compromised immune system. I have Psoriatic, Degenerative Arthritis and Plaque Psoriasis. They have been fantastic with the virtual appointments I got to see Gabriella for my last appointment virtually, she was great. I saw a new M.D. in the Paramus office this past Monday. I had to go in because I needed a hands on examine. I saw Dr. Bonney. He was terrific. The entire staff there from front desk to the doctors are all amazing. All Covid 19 safety measures were in place. I highly recommend the Derm group. Elissa Jacob N.J. read more

Honestly not sure why this office got poor reviews. They've never had me fill out more paperwork than necessary, the facility is clean, the receptionists and medical staff have always been friendly, and I was never stuck in the waiting room for very long. My visits were always very short yet informative, and the medicines they prescribed for my acne helped a lot and were never more than my insurance's $20 copay. read more

The Derm Group - Dermatologists Near Me - Paramus, New Jersey

I saw Dr. Li for my first dermatology appointment ever. She was helpful and diagnosed some skin conditions I've dealt with. Dr. Li also wrote out a regimen for me that would be perfect for my skin and answered my questions thoroughly. I felt much better after my exam after she addressed some things and I will definitely return. They also offer flexible appointment times, which is great if you have a tight schedule. read more

Dr. Bonney can do so much better. An excellent Doctor. Being an Ex-Marine with a history of skin cancer, being denied my appointment because I lack a photo ID??? Really! Apparently, the office manager has a different priority then your health! It's not that they had set prior standard and presedent of accepting my previous appointment's. They said they were just being accommodating. Really? That's fine, my wife and I will simply move on. read more

Went here a few years ago for two issues. Was told that the red spot on my leg was skin pigment and that it is what it is and it's fine. I went to another dermatologist recently to find out that I actually have eczema. I could have known this and prevented it sooner and treated it more properly if the doctor had given two shits but it stead nope just wanted to rush me out of the office and misdiagnose me. I do not recommend this office if you are looking for the right dermatologist doctor I highly recommend the Garden State dermatologist in fair lawn on broadway. read more

I give the doctors a 5 star. They helped me with eczema and cosmetic issues. the staff is absolutely awful. They really need to train them better and teach them how to do their jobs. I have seen Li, Garden and Bonney. All good dermatologists. But, may people judge the doctor by the staff so I hope they smarten up. read more

This group has no respect for the patient's time. During COVID-19 it is Unacceptable to wait more than 45 minutes to my appointment without any notification from the front office. when I approach the front office, I was told that I am next in line without any apologies. Before COVID-19, this group was notorious for packing in appointments and the average wait time was above one hour. I thought (wrongfully) that during DOVID-19 they will change their bad habit. read more

I called to make an appointment at this office after searching for a dermatology practice that accepted my insurance. The operator gave me a Saturday appointment and took all of my information including my insurance card member ID and assured me that my insurance is accepted at this office. On the day of my appointment there was a ton of construction near the office so I called to inform them That I was nearby. The answering service informed me that the office was closed and I should keep calling. Keep in mind i had text confirmations. I arrived nonetheless. When I got to the desk, the receptionist gave a dry hello and confirmed my name. Then proceeded to ask for my insurance card, as another patient walks in. She quickly responded "oh no we don't accept this". In disbelief I explained that the operator who took my appointment assured me it was accepted. She told me she would have to make another appointment with a different doctor for another day. WOW! Waste of time. Thought the office was closed. Oh and I forgot to mention, when I came in I asked if the phones were working and she told me yes. I explained that the answering service is answering and she didn't seem too surprised. Too many red flags. She began looking for a date and flustered I asked her to take care of the now 2 patients waiting. She then asked me if I wanted her to call me, I agreed, she confirmed my number and told me her name. Guess what!? No call. Customer service is super important in any industry. And your receptionist is the Frontline. If they can't get it right, what does that say about the doctors. This was my experience. read more

Thanks to Dr Li, I have my life back. It turned out the previous Dermatologist from another office did not diagnose my condition completely. The first Dermatologist treated me for psoriasis when according to the biopsy report I have both psoriasis and eczema. For 2 months I suffered with my condition progressively getting worse with treatments prescribed by the first Dermatologist. Luckily Dr Li was able to better understand my condition and with 1 single shot I had my life back overnight. read more

If I could give stars to the Nurse Practitioners, who did most of the hard work and who I have more confidence in than in the doctor I saw - I would. The staff and nurses were extremely rude and had horrible bedside manor. The doctor was basically complaining to me that she didn't want to spend too much time on a patient. She said she didn't want to talk to my insurance agents if they run into trouble. She also told me if I don't like her personality, to go somewhere else. I've never been treated so harshly by a medical professional. read more

Awful office. I visited the Paramus office, which was big, very sterile and cold looking, and when I arrived I was the only one there. After standing at the desk for a few minutes, the receptionist , obviously annoyed that I interrupted her conversation with the other receptionist about her weekend, handed me this huge, awkward, industrial looking tablet to fill out. It was very time consuming and clumsy to use, and 15 minutes later, I handed it back to her completed. It took another 15 minutes before I was brought to the exam room, then another 10 minutes before Dr Bonney saw me. (mind you I was the only one in the waiting room). The exam was very rushed, to the point that the Dr was actually walking out the room as I was asking a question. So here is the kicker. The Office was in my insurance networks PPO, which I paid the $20 copay at the office . 6 Months later I get a bill from the The Dermatology Group for $240. The bill has listed "registration error" on it and I noticed they have my address and name spelled wrong. Whats the point of wasting time on high tech gadgets if they are manually entering my info incorrectly in the insurance claim? read more

This practice has zero respect or compassion for their patients. I was a 5 year patient with this practice, along with my two sons, daughter and elderly mother. I had skin cancer so I am very diligent with scheduling my yearly appointments. On June 20th, I scheduled my appointment for July 26 at 7:00 PM. We went back and forth scheduling because I needed a late appointment because I work in Edison. Several appointments were offered that I could not make so we settled on 07/26 at 7:00 PM. Many texts were sent asking if I wanted to come on an earlier date and time. They were ignored because of my SPECIFIC need for a late date and time. Yesterday I arrived at my appointment. The woman at the desk is SO rude and un-welcoming. Molly was THERE but was "done for the day" and wouldn't see me - THEIR mistake and they did nothing to accommodate. Not SO surprising considering every appointment I EVER had I was waiting 35+ minutes to be seen- Terrible.....They will never see me, my 3 children or my mother again- GOODBYE read more

My 3 star review is not because of the doctors here but because of the front desk staff/receptionists. My doctor, Dr. Bonney was amazing, quick and thorough. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a good dermatologist. However, my first visit, I came because my underarms sweat more than usual. Dr. Bonney prescribed me a strong deodorant that I put on before bed and a pill I take in the morning. The first time I put it on it burned and stung but nothing unbearable and that is expected for such a strong deodorant. It worked and helped me stop sweating 100% which is the first time in 8 years. So I continued to do so for the next 8 days. Last night when I put on the deodorant the burning and pain was unbearable. I couldn't even lift or move my arms without being in pain. My armpits are red, still stinging and my skin is rough and puffy. I went to bed planning on calling right when they opened (6 am) so I can be seen ASAP for a possible allergic reaction. I called at 6am right when they opened and the lady basically told me to bad and I need an appointment. So I said fine I would get an appointment tomorrow (Friday before 11am because I work) she told me she would see if she could fit me in and I could call back to see if the appointment could be made. I told her to call me when she knows if the appointment can or can't not happen. After not hearing back, I called at 2 and got the run around again for the second time, they told me to come in before 3:30. I got here at 3:15. The receptionist, Joanna had a horrible attitude. She also told me I was late for a 2:45 appointment, which was news to me because I couldn't get an appointment at 6am and I just had gotten off the phone with them at 2:15 which is when they told me just to come in before 3:30. (Probably because I harassed them about seeing me that day) Annoyed and angry is an understatement with the staff here. I understand other people have appointments, but shouldn't you take a possible allergic reaction a little more seriously? I'm sure my less than 5 minute appointment could have been squeezed in somewhere earlier. Hopefully Dr. Bonney works out of another office where I can see him. read more

What an operation. I was out of medication 7 days before my appointment. I called on a Thursday to express concern about this, and was told a clinical nurse would call back that day to get me a small extension on my medicine to cover me until my appointment. I called again Friday morning and was told the call was coming. I called Friday afternoon and was told it was impossible to help me because Dr. Bonney does not work every other Friday and they don't know what office his nurse is in. The staff was pleasant enough on the phone, but the lack of communication was beyond unprofessional and showed a lack of care for patients. I'll go next week to get my prescriptions, as Dr. Bonney is pleasant enough. But, not sure I'll be going back after that. Lastly, I was told I missed an appointment in April. Considering I went in October and Dr. Bonney said you're good for a year, I'm not sure what that was all about. They said the 6/month max is a new policy. So, I guess patients are supposed to have osmosis for any new policies they enact? This staff is all over the place. read more

Dr. Notterman is great. However, the office/business side seems severely mismanaged. They lost my original file and all documentation about previous procedures at their office. Also, their online appointment request form goes to Customer Service (as the receptionist told me) and seems to just stay there without any action being taken. The front desk also told me that they don't have communication channels between the office, billing, and Customer Service. read more

The people at the front desk are not enforcing social distancing, and are not minimizing contacts. In fact, one was asked to cover her nose with her mask, and she didn't immediately cover it, saying it made it harder to breathe. Dr. Li is an excellent physician. THE WORST DERMATOLOGY PRACTICE I HAVE EVER BEEN TO! As a nurse and someone who has worked for a dermatologist in the past, I can definitely say this is by far the worst practice I have ever been too. Not only is the staff extremely rude and unprofessional they are completely incompetent. Doctors rush you in and out and make you wait forever to be seen. They do not evaluate you or take the time to listen. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRACTICE. Any positive review is probably a friend or family member of someone in the practice because there is no way anyone could give this place a positive review. read more

Dr. Li is a saint! I'm 100% not kidding, I've been bothered by acne scars for many years and tried every treatment MULTIPLE times! But Dr. Li was able to clear me up! She not only really loves what she does, she's excellent at it! The Derm Group should give her a blank check! read more

Went for pediatric visit for son. Office is nice, office staff is good, but the doctor was rushed every single time. It was that kind of rushed where when they leave you're totally confused about what they said. Doctor was nice but does not take her time explain things. doesn't really have that pediatric touch with the kids - almost cold. As a pediatric specialist I believe you need to have that kid friendly vibe, be very patient, and take your time explaining things to parents because we are scared as hell about what's going on with our child. They might have thought my sons case was mild but they could have explained that or reassured me that everything was fine. Our last visit she did a treatment but she missed so many spots because she was in a rush. I had to point it out to her. If you value bedside manner then maybe you should consider another place. read more

One of the best places that I've ever went to for my skin check up...the doctors and their assistants are very smart, they will explain everything to you and if you have a certain medical condition they will also explain to you what it is. For medical service- negative stars ! Every time I go for medical reasons they say "not sure but have you tried laser hair removal or juvexin! Let's make a cosmetic appointment today you'll Love it ! While the doctors at this practice are top notch the office procedures and staff follow-up are awful. I have been a patient here for over 15 years. On many occasions when I have called the office for follow up issues or question nobody ever responds. I also had a billing issue that took over a year to get someone on the phone to discuss and correct it. On one occasion I had a problem with a prescription. It took more than a week to get a call back and the problem corrected. I was in severe discomfort during that time while I waited for for the medication that would have given me relief. Unfortunately this is the norm for this office. I have been considering leaving their practice and going elsewhere and was giving them one last chance after speaking to the new office manager. However here I am again with the same problem. I had an unexpected reaction to a medication they prescribed. I called on Friday to discuss it with the clinical staff. They weren't available and I was assured that they would contact me on Monday. I even said to the person on the phone that typically they do not call back. She said she would personally see to it that the right person got the message. Well... it's now Tuesday and no one has called me. I guess it's time to give up and find another office. read more

I'm sitting here in a paperwork nightmare with the office. They want to photocopy your drivers license, your ss #, religion, race and far too much information. My rating for this office is based solely on my experience in the front office. This office requires way too much personal information for my comfort level. The front staff seems like robots when you object to their inquiries. It's their job. So while I like the dr I see here, I strongly dislike his office. read more

Disappointed!!!!! I had a visit on June 30, 2020. I was prescribed a medication that i had a question on before taking. I called the office 3 times to have the doctor call me to ask my question and no one called me back. On my 3rd call to ask why no one called me back days later , the person on the phone sounded like she was annoyed with me .... the nerve!!! I'm a patient that had a concern about taking medication i wasn't comfortable taking or that i wanted to get more clarification on , and you showed no interest in helping me instead they act like they are annoyed, and on top of it claimed they never received a message for the patient to call her, well train your staff next time its not my fault that they didn't do their job properly. I will never go here again ( Paramus NJ Location) it's a shame!!!!!!! read more

Without a doubt the rudest staff I have ever encountered. Called 4 times to get a prescription refilled. Was told every time it was being sent right over. After a week the rudest girl put me on hold for over 25 minutes and then said I needed to come into the office. Sorry I don't feel comfortable doing that during a pandemic. This is for a very mild anti biotic by the way. The only staff member that was nice and tried to help was Marlena but unfortunately she cannot make up for the others. Dr Bonnie also never contacted me once- no apology from anyone. They just lost me and my families business which they obviously do not care about. DO NOT give them your business. Customer service is important and there are a ton of outstanding dermatologists in this area. Still in shock about how awful I was treated. read more
