The specific check I requested was simply for someone to drive my car up the street, and let me know the origin of the noise it was making. *NO FURTHER WORK WAS AUTHORUZED.* I ended up being charged for both the check, and light replacements that I hadn't authorized, which totaled out to almost 200 dollars. This is behavior I'd expect from a shop being run out of someone's garage, and not an established shop where I've brought my car for service on multiple occasions. I am now almost 200 dollars further away from being able to pay for the repairs, and this might clinch my decision to get rid of my car, which is absolutely disastrous for my life. I'm so happy I found Lunar FX - they're local to me, responded quickly to FB messages and through text and the car looks great. The price was very reasonable (less than 1/2 the dealer!) for ceramic film, which will help keep the car cool this summer. They also offered a warranty, included in the price (very important - with a car like this I want to keep it looking perfect).
