This is a MUST have, 10/10, probably the most valuable hidden gem we have found out here at the Cape. My family and I have been coming to the cape for all 25 years of my life and while my mom and I were out and about today, we decided to grab a quick lunch on our way back to our house. I frantically started searching trying to find something, and a random detour led us here. The atmosphere is beautiful, everyone I met on the staff was so friendly and welcoming, we sat at the bar and I have never had such fast service, and STEAMING hot food at a bar before. The food is a whole other topic - it was DELICIOUS! There are no words that'll describe how yummy everything we had was (drinks, beer, food). This place has an awesome bar, nice lighting and the food is a cut above as well. Love the Portuguese little necks with linguica and garlic sauce and the lychee martini is amazing. The only thing is, they advertise that they take food orders until 9, but if they're not very busy they can randomly close the place down at 8. We were turned away a couple of times when it was early, which was a bummer because we didn't have a backup, though Clancy's is pretty good. read more

Fabulous! Can't wait to go back. I ordered the Burrata Csprese, and it was so good I'm going to try to duplicate it at home. Any Caprese salad is good and basic versions are all over. But this was excellent. Instead of the usual fresh mozzarella & fresh tomato slices, this was a ball of pricey burrata on a bed of roasted burst cherry tomatoes with a balsamic glaze drizzle and olive oil. Served with griddled toast I wish I'd taken a picture before I demolished it. Don't miss it! Waitress was lovely - friendly and chatty without being overbearing or hovering. We went to the Den last week after driving around for a while looking for somewhere to eat. It was a Tuesday evening and surprisingly it seemed a lot of places are closed on Tuesday's. We finally came to the Den, as we had heard of it and had wanted to try it.. Great vibe, right from the moment we walked in. The server was pleasant, we didn't catch her name as the place was very loud. both my date and I had the drink special pina colada, we expected it to be a frozen drink but it wasn't. It was pleasantly refreshing and delightful. Definitely get it again! Only con: The place was busy and kinda loud. My dates dinner a salad was absolutely delicious but the reason for my 4 star review is that my dinner was extremely overcooked. But it might have been a communication error on both our parts - as I think she might have misheard me. As an owner of a Cape Cod establishment I know how the season is and I know this has been a hard one. I will definitely return after it has slowed down , seemed like a great place to watch a game and have a few drinks. *I didn't take any pictures because my phone died but her salad was quite lovely. *Covid 19* Me and my husband were hungry but didn't feel like driving around and this place was right down the street, american menu. Outside and indoor dining. Patio area is very comfy, that is where we sat. We came right before closing because we couldn't find thier hours anywhere and felt bad. The food was yummy Lobster Balls-Salty and garlicky perfect for a bar snack! Korean tacos- were on the sweet side, but my husband loved them. I wish they were a little more spicy. Burger-I enjoyed even though my husband ordered it. I love that they have curly fries on the menu. Menu was bigger then most places right now and they have a decent amount of beers on tap. Not sure what this used to be but Dennisport used to be a dead restaurant scene- not so now! Nice outdoor seating & big bar with TVs tuned to sports like Sox! They were able to accommodate our large party with little notice & their cocktails are great- Paloma, Denmonade, watermelon mojito. The cauliflower poppers are beyond delectable . The Dutton pizza & truffle steak tips pizza also yummy. Smokehouse burger with sweet potato fries is a winner & my friend loved bibimbap. They were a little short on servers & kitchen a bit slow but they delivered most of food pretty close together. Too full for dessert. read more

Stopped here for lunch and wish we didn't. The 1 host was also the waiter and bus boy. The lack of waiters and customers should've tipped us off that no one eats here because the food was terrible. The fish tacos were stale and greasy, and the poke bowl was nothing like a real poke bowl. It was drenched in mayo with tons of rice. Do not eat here. read more

Awesome job by the whole team. Came in on a whim and left with my girlfriend throughly impressed. Everyone was super attentive. Decent food, large phone order was prepared correctly, but I wouldn't visit them again since they decided to "tip" themselves 10 bucks on a takeout order. When I called a few days later to rectify this issue, the woman said she needed time to look into the situation and would call me back - no problem. I have never left a one star review for anything...but this was the worst experience we've ever had at a restaurant. The service was terrible...we waited almost an hour for our food. My mixed drink was very salty...it tasted like salt water with lime. When I went to the bar to ask for a new drink, I was completely ignored by the bartender. She looked right at me, then started scrolling her phone. The food was also very salty and just gross. The tacos were cold. The burger was under cooked...the list goes on. We tried to talk to the manager to inquire about our food after 45 minutes of waiting, and she dismissed us completely...she was hiding in the kitchen and sent a waiter out to tell us she'd "call us later" if we left a phone number. Waitress was nice- it wasn't her fault. Awful experience with my family...so disappointed. read more

Gyoza was good. Can't say much more positive about this place. Walked in, was seated in the bar area by the hostess. Was immediately yelled at by the bartender that our party was too big (6) to sit there. We notified her that we were sat here by the hostess and we then were moved. Annoying but fine. Not the hostess fault- she was apologetic. We ordered 3 poke bowls. The tuna was supposed to be seared-it was completely cooked. The gyoza we ordered was forgotten and after we inquired about it, we were told the ticket was missing in the kitchen. Waited far too long for our check to leave this establishment. Overall subpar. Ok, The Den is an unassuming restaurant located in Dennis port, Mass. When you walk-in, the space feels a little dark with all the wood. They have a huge wrap around bar that looks engaging and fun. We were a party of 3 and chose a booth. (Self-seating) Our waiter, Davi, was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. One of us, ordered the Tuna Poke bowl; the other fish and chips and I ordered the lobster roll. (Which was a special) The dishes came and I have to say, they were FRESH and delicious! The poke bowl was amazing with rice, wasabi mayo, black sesame seeds, seaweed and an abundance of fresh, sushi grade tuna. (To quote my friend, "Melt in your mouth, tuna." ) My other Dining companion ordered the fish and chips and stated the fish was fresh and perfectly cooked and the "green slaw" that accompanied it (along with fries) was delicious. It had apples; kale; Jicama, cabbage,broccoli and was lightly dressed. I got the lobster roll which was not dressed in a heavy mayo, but lightly dressed in something I'm not really sure I know what it was. I should have asked Davi, but, I'm telling you it was one of the most freshest and delicious lobster rolls I have ever eaten! ( and,I eat a lot of lobster rolls every summer) I consider myself a lobster roll aficionado and this was one of the best! The freshness of the lobster and the poke tuna contributed to my 5 star review. Anyway, go here if you want to experience good, quality food that will not disappoint. It's worth a trip. Honestly I do not understand all the great reviews of this place ... came for dinner with my family and thought the menu looked promising. The inside is very well decorated and clean , but that is about the only good thing I have to say. The pizza was decent but not great and wings were soggy. The fish tacos were basically a mouth full of salt with no other flavor. The shrimp scampi forgot the scampi and it was a sloppy mess with ZERO flavor . The biggest upset of the night was the awful service. The servers were all too busy in a group talking to themselves for the entirety of our stay to the point where we had to wave our server down. Sadly a waste of a dinner out that was over priced and not worth it. read more
