I was aware that their contract contains a disclaimer for such events. Nevertheless they offered to fix the damage. About a month later a very nice fellow showed up late one afternoon, took one look at the problem and went off in search of parts. It started raining heavily so he never came back. I mean he NEVER came back. Ever. A few weeks later I decided to fix it myself only to discover that the installers had poured the concrete block AROUND the cut end of the irrigation hose, making it impossible to use to install a replacement head. Instead I had to spend much time and effort digging a semicircular trench to find the other end in order to repair the system. I understand that stuff happens, but this was sloppy and unavoidable. And what happened to that first repair guy after the company offered to fix it? We have nice railings now but the whole thing was a headache.
