Wow! This place is so fun and there is a lot to do. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. The hayride was so much fun and I would recommend you get the fast pass to skip the lines. They have some food trucks that are very good. I recommend for families to check out the pumpkin patch or even all the events they have( apple launcher, paintball, cornpit, slides, petting zoo) I will definitely be back soon with my family.

I have been going for years and I have to say each year they truly outdo themselves. When I say it's legit I am not exaggerating. If you know you know... the production and realness they add to every element of this hayride! And when I say hayride that's an understatement. Yes part is a hayride and parts are walking through corn fields and busses and dungeons. PSA: they are allowed to touch you! The more scared you look, the more you will get picked on (I should know) Such a great date night or night out with friends! Free parking. I would recommending purchasing tickets ahead of time. They have a few options for tickets but lines can get long so I think the VIP passes are worth it especially on weekends. They have food trucks and beer garden for after!

Always love dead end hayride! Super great actors that scare the begeebers out of you! Thank you so much Yelp for the fun experience!

Wanna have a little spooky fun over the Halloween Month of Spooky stuff... you need to check out this hidden Dead End Hayride out in Wyoming MN! I convinced Nate to go cause you know why not and it was some good tummy laughs, jump scares with almost peeing my pants from my daughter and her friend getting scared! I loved it! Take your family, go with your friends, take a date this is something you need to do before we are under lock down for a long winter! They do have a couple food truck options out there which was sooooo nice! Deep Fried Chicken Tacos...yes please! Apple Cider Slushy...delicious! Donut were ok... Already planning another weekend to head out with my friends to get another scare in!

Easily one of the best haunted hayride/haunted house experiences I've had. Also, yes it's both. Arriving takes you down a narrow and bumpy frontage road, so take your time. It's like gravel and gets a ton of dust kicked up. The lot itself once there has ample parking so no worries there. Once inside there are numerous food vendors and an over 21 section if you'd like to grab a drink (beer/seltzer) before heading to the line like we did. The line moves pretty well but for standard pass, is long, but nothing out the norm. The ride itself takes about 20 minutes, I won't add spoilers, and it drops you off in the back of the lot area. From there you have a 40-1hr walk back through numerous, high production houses. This place is super well done with worthwhile scares and quality sets and staff. Can't give it enough kudos other than to tell you to check it out yourself!

WOW. I never thought I'd be that person who can't stop talking about a "haunted house" to pretty much anyone who will listen. But for the past 2 days, that's been me. Dead End Hay Ride is worth every penny. **highly recommend the fast pass over general admission. On the night that I went, the VIP tickets weren't necessary. COSTCO IS SELLING DEEPLY DISCOUNTED FAST PASS TIX** The production value of this MASSIVE haunted experience is still blowing my mind. In between my blood curdling screams I would note how completely professional the sets and props were. This farm takes the business of scaring people for a solid hour and a half very seriously. And afterward they entice you with a beer garden (with fire pits and tons of seating) and several dinner and dessert food trucks. You will not regret going. It's worth the drive from the cities. I will go every year.

This is a Minnesota Fall Must-Do! Most haunted experiences are you blick and miss it, but this is a great long length! It starts with a 20-minute scary hayride and then continues to keep going with 3+ haunted houses deep in the woods. The company definitely knows how to run an operation with lots of details, performers, and scary effects! I was extremely impressed by how organized everything was and how easy the experience on the attendee. I thought the attraction was very scary throughout the whole time, which can be difficult to do when providing such a long experience! Great food truck options and wide availability for people to attend! This experience is like no other! Definitely worth the price, recommend spending the extra money on an immediate access pass. Plenty of parking! I will be coming back every year!

Fast past line for the hayride!

Props were amazing, well done and not tacky. Fun energy from the actors! Each section was so fun to go through. Recommend getting fast passes though.

Wow!!! We were in for a spooktacular hayride. We chose the VIP so we could bypass the wait and that was worth it. Lots of different haunted spots to experience. My favorite was the junkyard... being chased by the monsters was quite fun LOL! We decided to make this an annual thing as we enjoyed it that much. Plus, the were professional and so welcoming to us!

Thanks Kara for the scary fun yelp event at Dead End Hayride! We visited on a Sunday night @8pm and with the Fast Pass we walked straight in and were on a hayride within 10 minutes that alone makes it 5 stars nothing kills a good time like standing in line! I would advise the fast pass or VIP because the general admission line was the scariest thing of the night.lol The scale of this huge production is off the charts. There were so many different facets and moving parts and during our time going through it everything was flawless as far as I could see. The props went off at the exact times and actors jumped out and interacted with our group right on cue. The costume actors were great they had tons of energy and it made for a great experience. There's also big area for food/drinks and entertainment. Beer garden, games for kids, music stage and a variety of food and sweets options. Parking was free and very smooth process employees guided you to a spot in the field they used for parking. Restrooms were located all throughout the event grounds even around the haunted areas since we know how some people get when they get scared Event venue A+ Props A+ Employees A+ Parking. A+ Concessions A

First things first....GO! This place is soooo fun! It takes about 20 minutes to do the hayride. The hayride drops you off and it takes about 40mins-1hr to get back to the main area where the food is located. We got the immediate access passes....so worth it! Worth it! Without it you stand in line for a long time...but even that would be worth it. We arrived and it was plenty of parking. The gravel road was hella bumpy...but I forgive them. We reserved tickets online and were able to get in the gates quickly. We went straight to the hayride. Short wait with the immediate pass. The hayride was beyond fun. Im scaried easily and it was scary but tolerable. The penitentiary was so amazing! The details were spectacular! You walk through a prison and then it transitions to a graveyard, slaughterhouse and so much more. Honestly it is hard to pull the words...you are just so immersed. I LOVED IT! And I will go back!

Ask the Community - The Dead End Hayride

    Are costumes allowed for riders?

    Yes they are

Would this attraction be okay for someone who has never been to a haunted house before? Could they handle it?

Possibly. Depends on how scared they get. This is much scarier than say the haunted house at a fair. I would also make sure they have a strong heart.

Can 11 and 12 year olds go on the hayride and haunted house without adults?

    Yes.

    What should we bring?...

Nothing. Dress for the weather and wear comfy shoes! You'll be walking outside.

This trail was really cool, a mesmerizing trail, illuminated by over 10,00 0 intricately carved jack-o-lanterns! The trail was a Half-Mile long so it is not too long, we had fun and an enjoyable evening of pumpkin mania and seeing faces on pumpkins we've never seen before. Free parking.

Walking in, I made a bee line for the little coffee house after the drive from St. Paul out to Wyoming. It was good, and I was on a mission to find the funnel cake food truck. It's been a minute, and since I didn't make it to the fair this year, I was determined. We got the cookie monster, funnel cake topped with Oreo and Chips Ahoy cookies, chocolate drizzle and whipped cream. Pretty sure I had a week's worth of caloric intake, even with splitting it, and I didn't care. Next, we headed over to the apple launcher area. At first I couldn't see where the workers were, but the building is set back a bit. We had a blast launching apples at the farm equipment and barrels. We walked over to the pumpkin patch trailer area and had a great time picking our pumpkins. I immediately grabbed a pretty pink one. I was glad they had little wheelbarrows for us to transport our pumpkins as we continued walking around. Before we headed out, we checked out the farm animals and the gift shop. I loved the variety of jams, pickles, and salsas. I grabbed the blueberry jalapeno salsa, cherry jam, apple butter and dill pickles. I've had a chance to bake with the apple butter and it's delicious! Overall, a great time and something for everyone!

We complained about the lag time but 2 other ladies just standing around doing nothing said "oh, we're used to it!" And I said "We're not." They're clearly inept throughout this entire facility. At the paintball zombie line up, there's no one there so you don't know if you're in the right spot, or if they're doing the hunt or what! When you get on, here's their announcement: "Don't shoot guns across the other guns or they'll break. Everyone sit down while the tractor is moving. If you need more paint balls we sell them." In our group of 8, we had no idea how many paint balls or how long the ride was to manage our usage. Only when we were done did we find out there were 5 scenes with 100 paint balls to use. On top of that, most guns didn't illuminate the balls so you can't tell if you're shooting and if you are, you can't tell where you're hitting. Overall, the lack of management and organization ruins this experience. Hard to believe they are still in business.
