What a great place! I'm actually kind of disappointed I've never been here until this visit. We purchased tickets in advance for small discount and got there about 30 minutes after opening on a Saturday. Parking is pretty easy and well organized, make sure and note your row! It was a rainy start to the day but even still they had fires going and as many activities open that could be considering the weather. The experience can fit a variety of ages but I think the sweet spot is that 4-12 year range. They can do everything and are the most excited about things older kids may find boring. Admission gets you access to most activities, you could easily be entertained without spending any extra money. The add on experiences aren't too spend though, $5-12 for gem mining, apple shooting, paintball, face painting and more. I was surprised at how many food options there were, should be able to find something for adults and kids. Plus, they have a full bar for the beer garden and you can wander around with a beverage. My kids loved it and want to make it an annnual event. I was impressed with the size and number of things to keep kids occupied. We stayed almost 6 hours!

Went for the pumpkin trail that I purchased online from Groupon and this was worth it 100%. The amount of fake pumpkins this placed carved is insane for this event but makes it so memorable and fun too. Almost any Halloween theme you can see it on a pumpkin here. So many selfie/photo opportunities and the staff was so friendly that they would take pictures for you with your group. We stayed for about 2 hours but could have stayed longer as the light up walk way was a hit with the 9 year old. This is great for all ages.

We went to check out the great pumpkin trail. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door. This is an outdoor event so we had to bundle up. There were peak and non peak days to choose from, non peak is always cheaper. There's so many things to do there. A section of food trucks to choose from, corn pit, the glider, and of course the pumpkin trail. There's an attendant at the entrance will check for your bracelet and mark them. This trail was really cool. Lots of light and colors. I can almost see them do a Christmas theme here also. This farm is also the same as the haunted hayride. Huge parking lot and free parking.

We've been coming to pinehaven farms for YEARS, since the 2000s it has been WILD to see how much this farm has grown over the years they have really made this a top tier pumpkin patch experience. There's food trucks, now there's new buildings serving drinks and food, stage for live music, several new activities for kids and adults alike, it's awesome.

Narrative: Family Fun Day in Late September. We were looking for something to do outside to celebrate the season. We pass by this place all the time heading up to Duluth so we decided to give this place a try. Aesthetic: So this place is definitely a converted family farm, you see bits and pieces of the old place but a lot of creativity has been added to the acreage. There was a ton of things to keep my 8, 6, and 1 year old busy all afternoon. Things to Do: So much! Slides, corn pit, apple cannon, pumpkin cannon, huge ladder ball, duck races, tractor rides, flower picking, Zipline, pumpkin-eating dragon, etc. Most of the activities are included in your ticket price. We also came during a craft fair, highly recommend. Food: we didn't try anything since we brought a picnic lunch but they offered various food trucks with an assortment of fare. Prices were food truck standard (pricey). Price: Entrance fees are not terrible considering the amount of time we spent and our kids had fun. This place definitely is more geared to the younger audience - 12 years old and below. Teens might not find much to keep them entertained. Why You Should Go: Fun place to celebrate Fall and enjoy the outdoors before it gets cold.

I visited Pinehaven Farm with my Nana after seeing the sign off of I-35. Even though I don't have kids, it was pretty fun. My Nana, who is also a MN native of 70+ years wished she knew because she could have brought the kids here when they were younger. The employees are friendly and helpful. The tickets prices were decent. You can buy your tickets online or at the door. They have various food shack and trucks with fair prices. They have various cuisine types: American, Asian, Mexican food. There are a lot of ATM available since they do not accept credit card under $5. Lots of picnic tables around to sit and eat. They have a gift shop with lots of interesting things like raw honey, books, candles, t-shirts, toys, and candies. I was a sucker and bought Frankie the Frankenstein from Build a Buddy. (It was so cute! I couldn't help it! Haha!!!) I thought it was neat that they have a baby changing station. There was live music. Nana and I walked around the farm and it is a great place for families. We got to shoot honey crisp apple at the Apple Blaster. We stopped by the coffee shop and got some smoothie. There was also a petting zoo. Oh, and parking was good too. I like that they have the numbering available so you remember where you parked and they have lines. (A lot better than Ren Fest's lot.) Overall, it was fun even though I don't have kids.

This is my 2nd year attending. My family and I liked it enough to come back. It can get busy on the weekend, but it's a large place. There is plenty for the kids to do. There are a lot of photo opportunities and food truck options. I tried the taco truck- it was average. The pumpkins are only $5.00 if you pick your own!

I took my family there during thr craft fair. The kids had so much fun. The corn pit and the jumping pillow were a hit for the little ones. I love that they have different things to do and many places to take pictures. When we visited, they also had food trucks with various options, which I liked. My nieces were already planning another, and I'll gladly take them.

    Should I bring a wagon?

Hello, If you are bringing young children who may tire out in a few hours, a wagon could be helpful. We have wagons for moving pumpkins only. Thanks!

It's not massive or frantic like some of the big-name places (yes, Severs, we're looking at you), and best of all: admission is free. Now, if you're a die-hard corn maze enthusiast, you might want to look elsewhere. This place skips the maze madness--and honestly, that's a win. Corn mazes are often overpriced and overhyped (still looking at you, Severs). And petting zoos? Also not here. They tend to be germy, full of animals that are prone to bite, and they'll soak you for the cost of the feed. Hard pass. No pig races either. No long lines. Just simple, cheap fun. It's the icing on the pumpkin cake So if you want to make joyful memories with your kids, wander through pumpkin fields, and soak up the season without the stress of a State Fair vibe, you're in the right place. What Free Admission Gets You: --A fresh corn pit (changed out yearly--unlike the dusty ones at larger venues) --Playground with slides, swings, large sandboxes, and rocking horses --Tons of photo ops for the whole family Extras: --Face painting --Specialty coffees and indoor snacks --Food trucks, mini donuts, snackable items (large iced coffee with cream was $3.5) A wide selection of reasonably priced gourds, field pumpkins, and large potted mums; also offer indian corn, rushes, hand-painted pumpkins and hay rides in October. Prices: Small gourds: $1.50 Medium fancy: $5 Any field pumpkin: $6 LARGE potted mums: $20 Full-size straw hay bales: $8 The pumpkins are impressively grown--many are flawless and some are downright huge. You won't have to search far to find your perfect pick. Just note: this was the last weekend of September, so selection may thin out as Halloween approaches but boy they have a lot of pumpkins. Final Touches: --Friendly staff --Clean porta-potties --Handwashing station with real running water and soap --Dogs welcome (on leash) This is the kind of fall magic we can all get behind that won't break your bank.

There is a smaller corn pit, animals to pet and feed, and other free activities to enjoy.
