Last time I came here I got the VIP fast pass but we figured we might as well use the deal. It took 45 minutes to get on the hayride but it takes about about an hour to an hour and a half to go through the whole attraction! I enjoyed the hayride then getting the chance to walk through the haunted houses! It's a fun time for a date night or for the family. I wouldn't advise for little kids since it does get pretty scary. I am rating a 4/5 since I wish they had smaller groups go through at a time to help with the jump scares and such but overall good attraction! Plus afterwards you have opportunity to visit some food trucks and get a drink!

We arrived around 8pm to a huge line of cars to get into the parking lot and then the line of people to get in was the longest line I have ever seen in my entire life. We ended up leaving because we decided it was not worth it to waste more of our Saturday evening. We thankfully were able to get our tickets refunded but I really hope that ValleyScare learns a lesson going forward regarding this event. There needs to be a cap on the number of people that can buy tickets online.

I've already gone to a few haunted houses this season, but this one really took the cake. There's always something happening that keeps you on edge, and you never know what's coming next. For the price, it was totally worth it. I'm planning to bring my niece next time since she's really into haunted houses and anything scary. The line to get in was pretty long, but I liked how the staff made sure groups stayed spaced out so you didn't run into the people ahead of you. That made the whole thing feel more real. If you want a fun, scary night, this is the place to go. And if you're with a big group, split up so everyone can enjoy it. You won't be disappointed.

Lots of little photo opportunities and a bar, which was thoroughly decorated and was playing classic horror movies! Although the wait to get in was a little longer than expected, the actual experience itself was fun! It was kind of a maze, but nothing too challenging. The staging in each room was really good--a lot better than expected! There were jump scares throughout and a cute photo opportunity at the very end. My biggest gripe with this experience is that it was a little short, especially compared to how long we had to wait to get in.

My tickets were for 8, but I didn't get to go in until 9 because the line was slow. We did get to see two showings of an aerialist in line, which did help make it a bit more bearable. However, you figure out that the line is so slow because they do a good job of keeping each group small and spaced out, allowing you to enjoy the haunted house at your own pace. The house was actually a well decorated maze, so it was a puzzle trying to figure out where to go. The actors cannot touch you, but there was a good amount of jump scares. We ended up taking 20-25 minutes to go through the maze. There were also a couple photo opportunities inside. We exited into a gift shop and went to the bar which had a drag show (i think this was a special and isn't a regular occurrence, so it was a nice surprise). i also love that there were lots of photo ops outside. I didn't pay for my tickets and $40 sounds a little steep but it was fun, and I'm seeing some discounts available for specific dates and MEA weekend, so I would say it's worth it if you find a discount day!

They tell you not to touch the actors and they won't touch you. The special effects and actors were scarey and funny at the same time. The kids were a little scared but not really. It took about 20 minutes so go through and I'm laughing the whole time as it's kinda cheesy. It got darker towards the end and you had to open doors to get out. Afterwards there is concession food, a table to sign holiday cards to the troops, and a guy doing magic card tricks who takes cash donations as hugs don't pay the rent to his landlord. The kids also posed for pictures with Cuddles, the grim reaper on stilts. An enjoyable evening.

We complained about the lag time but 2 other ladies just standing around doing nothing said "oh, we're used to it!" And I said "We're not." They're clearly inept throughout this entire facility. At the paintball zombie line up, there's no one there so you don't know if you're in the right spot, or if they're doing the hunt or what! When you get on, here's their announcement: "Don't shoot guns across the other guns or they'll break. Everyone sit down while the tractor is moving. If you need more paint balls we sell them." In our group of 8, we had no idea how many paint balls or how long the ride was to manage our usage. Only when we were done did we find out there were 5 scenes with 100 paint balls to use. On top of that, most guns didn't illuminate the balls so you can't tell if you're shooting and if you are, you can't tell where you're hitting. Overall, the lack of management and organization ruins this experience. Hard to believe they are still in business.

This pass included the trail ride which was OK - I'd skip this in the future! The ride stopped at different "scenes" which were fun to watch but none were really scary. I was hoping through a dark ride through the woods where there was more pop out scaring and didn't expect the multiple stops with different scenes. After the trail ride we went through all of the haunted houses. They were set up super well but unfortunately even though they tried to give a bit of time between entry of groups, we found ourselves always just missing the pop out scares as the actor had just finished scaring the group ahead of us and was getting back into position. No one's fault and they do a good job of keeping the lines moving fast, it was just unfortunate timing that left us feeling like we weren't really getting a full scare experience. They had a stage for different shows, food trucks, and other stops for entertainment which was nice! I won't write it off my list completely but it's not top of my list to go back to.

This is the most expensive one that I know about. We splurged for the Ultimate VIP pass, which for a Friday night was well above $100 each. And my friends and I all agreed that it was worth it! Most of the experience is a linear path starting with a hayride and going through at least five haunted houses, but before each of those sections there is a line, and if it's a busy night that line will be long. We strolled past each of those lines with our fancy VIP pass and it was like one incredibly long, satisfying haunted house experience. There is so much walking starting at the end of the hayride that I skipped the gym the next day and felt no guilt. That hayride is unique. They have all the seats pointed to one side, and it stops at a number of stages for very theatrical vignettes. Some of the vignettes involve impressive magic trickery! What happens after that is best left as a surprise, but I will say that there are many fun, creative ways that Scream Town distinguishes itself from its competitors. Lots of animatronics! That must require a large team of mechanical engineers to maintain, so the price tag makes sense. Note that two of the sections are only available to the upper ticket tiers. But also note that you can do the largest section ("Oak Blood Forest") on its own for a much smaller fare. The village with all the food kiosks and souvenir booths is big and bustling, with lots of options including a magic shop where a professional magician gives a fun demo. There are stages with shows! You can really spend a full evening here. I am very impressed!

Really well put together and the attention to detail is great. I'm talking disney level of theming, but much scarier. After the hayride you go though some scenes and areas of the property to get back to the front, where you can get into Screamtown. Would 100% go again.
