The studio is sandwiched between PC Restaurant and Five Guys with ample parking space where it is easy to get in and out. They provide a free trial class when you are unsure if the class is going to workout for your child. The school offers ballet, jazz, hip hop, tap, musical theater and adult classes too. Their registration fee is minimal per family and class rates are competitive too. They welcome families every six weeks into the classroom for observation which is a great way to ask questions and connect with your child's teacher. Although, they do not have large observation windows, instructors often keep doors open (if it's not too loud in the waiting area) or are also open to have visitors upon request when families are concern about their child's class. Their website, quarterly newsletters and Facebook page keeps us informed with pertinent details about the studio and upcoming events. If your child loves to perform, this studio is the place to be as they give ample opportunities for your young dancer to perform in the community in their school's companies. One of the factors that I appreciate most at this school is that they seem to keep their faculty constant. Unlike other studios I have experienced in the past, turnovers were high and the staff seemed young and lack on teaching experience. Their faculty genuinely care about their students as individuals. The teachers are well versed in their craft and are educated both with higher education degrees and industry experience in national and international companies. If you have a budding dancer, Washington School of Dance starts as young as 18 months through adults.

Which is very unfortunate.* I have watched this studio grow from the ground up. There is a reason it has seen so much growth and success. The studio owner is dedicated to ensuring that each child is growing and learning at the best challenging pace that they can handle. Many incredible dancers (on a national level) have been produced under the instruction of Ms Augga. The teachers and families are wonderful. I have seen so many life long friendships that have flourished through this studio.

Allegro has been amazing! It feels like a family and second home for my daughter and there is so much room for her to grow with Allegro as she ages. Lovely teachers, the owner is always friendly and present and checks on the classes, students, and parents. We love it at Allegro and will be there for years to come.

We absolutely love the owner, staff, and teachers and communication with parents is excellent. I would recommend to those who are wanting to dance at any level from recreational to those with processional aspirations. My daughter has received top training and has had the most incredible teachers over the years!! She trains in every style offered and I fully believe she'd live at the studio if possible :D Additionally I recommend checking out their amazing competition team program. I am extremely disappointed with our experience at Fidalgo DanceWorks…read more My daughter participated in a summer class because she was excited to try dance and wanted to enroll for the fall. Unfortunately, she left feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. Despite attending multiple classes, the instructor frequently forgot her name, which made her feel overlooked and like she didn't belong. There was no effort to build relationships in the class. I get summer classes are different but it should have mimicked fall classes to get students excited. After realizing dance wasn't the right fit for her, I contacted the studio nearly a month before fall classes were scheduled to begin to request a refund. The request was denied, even though classes had not started and the studio maintains a waitlist that will allow another student to take her place. That lack of flexibility and compassion was incredibly disappointing. As a parent, I hoped for an environment where every child would feel seen, encouraged, and valued. Instead, my daughter came away feeling discouraged, and our interactions with the studio left us feeling that customer service and the overall experience were not a priority. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend Fidalgo DanceWorks. I hope they will consider treating families with more understanding and making every child feel genuinely welcomed.

Tripti, who owns Mishika dance academy is the best dance chroeographer by far in Seattle. I needed a teacher who is great in her dance moves, expressions and energy levels. And i got all that at her class. She evn teaches students who have less dancing skills and within 4 classes, you will notice that you have become dance connoisseurs. Within a month i got to perform in 2 of her major dance shows that had over 300+ crowd. If you are looking to be on stage, then join her performance group. And if you just want to learn dancing, then that is the perfect place to become dancing champions. She is very patient and she will teach you the step until you do not get it right. The best part is she records all of her class videos so you get to see what you did wrong or where you need improvement. Dancing is an art where you need to have high energy level, be graceful and display expressions and in her academy you will lean all of that. She enjoys dance and makes sure you enjoy it too.
