From the very beginning, everyone has been welcoming, supportive, and incredibly helpful. Mrs. Debbie, the owner, recently took time out of her busy schedule right before classes started to help my daughter get fitted for new ballet shoes. That level of personal attention and care says so much about the studio and the people who run it. My daughter loves her classes so much that she actually begged me to enroll her in an additional class! She looks forward to dance every week and has loved all of her teachers. Special shoutout to Miss Olivia, who has been wonderful and has helped make dance such a positive experience for her. We just finished another recital season, and every year I am blown away by the enthusiasm, dedication, and passion of the instructors. Watching the recital, it's easy to see how much work goes into preparing the dancers while still making the experience fun and encouraging. And honestly, anyone who has ever tried to teach a group of 4- and 5-year-olds anything can appreciate how impressive it is to see those young dancers smiling, having fun, and confidently performing on stage! What I appreciate most is that this studio has grown with my daughter. From her early classes as a little one to the dancer she is becoming today, she has always felt encouraged, supported, and excited to come back each week. We are so grateful to be part of this dance family and highly recommend this studio to anyone looking for a positive, nurturing environment for their child.

In a world that all too happily objectifies women, it is refreshing to find a studio that allows my girls to be just that: girls, not sexy, inappropriate mini women. Their choreography are darling as are the costume choices for the recital at the end of the year. I also really appreciate that they don't nickel and dime you. The owners make a real effort to create a community and send out a newsletter to keep you updated. All of the young women teaching my girls have been positive and great role models. It is absolutely worth the extra drive for me to come to Reflections. The quote in the pic is what finally motivated today to write a review.

This school is good for beginners and senior dancers. My daughter came to this school as a teenager after we moved. We strive to provide the highest level of training while keeping classes fast-paced and enjoyable. All of the teachers are highly educated in their respective dance disciplines, with most holding diplomas and/or certification from a dance teaching organization, such as the Royal Academy of Dance, the Association of International Dance Teachers and the Canadian Dance Teachers Association. We strive to help each dancer become the best he/she can be as a dancer and as a person. We believe that everyone should be treated equally regardless of age or ability. Making a difference in each dancer's life is very important to us! Our goal is to make Dance an enjoyable experience while focusing on a high level of technique. The children come first at Tri-City, and we work very hard to make sure each child's individual needs are met through support, encouragement, and inspiration. Our aim is to not only train dancers, but create better people who have confidence, poise, and a love of the Arts.

This was definitely legit). The staff bios are on the wall and they all have impressive qualifications. The classrooms and waiting areas are clean, uncluttered, brightly lit and adequately equipped. One feature i particularly liked was a "shoe recycling" bin.... Like a book exchange, toss in the ones you don't need anymore and help yourself to any you can use. Looking forward to trying out some regular classes!

The studio is sandwiched between PC Restaurant and Five Guys with ample parking space where it is easy to get in and out. They provide a free trial class when you are unsure if the class is going to workout for your child. The school offers ballet, jazz, hip hop, tap, musical theater and adult classes too. Their registration fee is minimal per family and class rates are competitive too. They welcome families every six weeks into the classroom for observation which is a great way to ask questions and connect with your child's teacher. Although, they do not have large observation windows, instructors often keep doors open (if it's not too loud in the waiting area) or are also open to have visitors upon request when families are concern about their child's class. Their website, quarterly newsletters and Facebook page keeps us informed with pertinent details about the studio and upcoming events. If your child loves to perform, this studio is the place to be as they give ample opportunities for your young dancer to perform in the community in their school's companies. One of the factors that I appreciate most at this school is that they seem to keep their faculty constant. Unlike other studios I have experienced in the past, turnovers were high and the staff seemed young and lack on teaching experience. Their faculty genuinely care about their students as individuals. The teachers are well versed in their craft and are educated both with higher education degrees and industry experience in national and international companies. If you have a budding dancer, Washington School of Dance starts as young as 18 months through adults.

I would highly recommend anyone looking for an established studio that provides high-quality dance education to join. I became a student at CSD when I was a teenager and the previous studio I danced at closed down. Cori and her teachers were phenomenal at integrating my sister and I into the school (to the point where CSD became our second home). I improved as a dancer because of CSD's intelligent programming and caring faculty. The opportunities I had at CSD created beautiful memories for my family and I to look back on, I also made life-long friendships with my dance peers who I share many of those memories with.

This is the paramount issue as their "Professional Training Division" is nothing similar to other youth companies in the tri-cities, as everyone makes it in to the PTD if their parents go in and threaten to leave. If you're looking for reliable training from qualified teachers, and choreography to push your child, I would not recommend investing in Caulfield's hefty prices. Now, on a more positive note, if you're looking for a studio to send your child once a week, with little commitment...Caulfield is an okay place. However, the recreational teachers are not very committed to teaching dance; most have recently graduated and deal with the recreational kids as a 'first time' learning experience. I'm not exactly sure of the dollar figure that Caulfield charges as it has been some time since I have been affiliated with their fees but I believe it is somewhere in the range of $1000-$2000 a year for a recreational dancer. With the half baked instruction from lacklustre teachers, the money simply isn't worth it. I really do try to find some positive because reading yelp reviews can be very dark sometimes. Caulfield is a great place to learn to perform, as they offer many performance opportunities with their 5 year end shows. A weekend of fun for the most part. However, in preparation for the year-end shows, there is numerous extra-rehearsals, the ludicrous "Photo-Day" and numerous extra expenses that come at you from no where, with little to no explanation as to why you must pay these expenses. Again, a common theme of hefty prices with little to no substance prevails. I would also like to say "Sommer T" who gave Caulfield School of Dance a 5 star rating on this exact site is an ex-teacher at Caulfield who to my understanding has maintained a very good relationship with the owner Cori. I have trouble removing bias from that whole review as it is written by a friend of Cori's. I don't mean to be cruel, but in conclusion I would never recommend sending a child to this dance school. It's beyond disorganized, very expensive, and overall the teaching is just 'meh.' There are many other studios in the tri-city area that will provide your child with both a better administration, and a better faculty. **For reference, other tri-city dance schools are Pulse Dance Centre, Tri-City Dance Centre, Simply Ballet, Port Moody School of Dance, Vela Academy of Movement, Dance Force, Coastal Edge Dance Center, Encore Dance Poco, K & S Dance
